Dreamville Festival 2024 Lineup: J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Chris Brown & More

The wait is finally over: we now have the official lineup and headliners for the Dreamville Festival this year in Raleigh, North Caroline. Moreover, tickets are still available here, and it will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7 at the Dorothea Dix Park six years after its original inception. The festival’s headliners are none other than J. Cole himself, Nicki Minaj, SZA, and Chris Brown. Other performers are the following: JID, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, Jeremih, EARTHGANG, Teezo Touchdown, Amaarae, Lute, Luh Tyler, Domani, Rema, Jeezy, Monica, Rae Sremmurd, Key Glock, Bas, Muni Long, Cozz, Omen, TiaCorine, and Chase Shakur.

Furthermore, this is shaping up to be a pretty stacked year when it comes to artist-led music festivals. For example, Jack Harlow recently announced his inaugural Gazebo Music Festival in Louisville Kentucky on Memorial Day weekend (May 25 and 26) this year. The lineup actually has some crossover with the Dreamville Festival, as expected for festival seasons, with SZA and Amaarae also hitting the stage at Gazebo. But the most exciting part about this lineup is the names that you might not catch anywhere else, such as what is presumably ScHoolboy Q’s first performance after dropping his new album BLUE LIPS.

Dreamville Festival 2024: See Lineup

Meanwhile, we already knew that Nicki Minaj was headlining, but her comments on the London festival Wireless might suggest her excitement for Dreamville. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival,” she said of her U.K. travels. “This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see.”

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Will Bring “Vultures” To Rolling Loud California

Following the release of his eagerly-anticipated project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 1, Kanye West has taken to Instagram to share some exciting news. According to the Yeezy founder, the duo will take the stage at Rolling Loud California on March 14, only days after the second installment of Vultures is scheduled to arrive. The festival’s official Twitter account confirmed the news shortly after Ye’s announcement.

Aside from Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign, attendees will also have the opportunity to catch sets from Nicki Minaj, Sexyy Red, YG & Tyga, and more. It goes without saying that they’re looking forward to the performance, however, some have doubts that it’ll actually happen. Famously, Ye canceled his headlining set at the festival back in 2022 only days before it was scheduled to take place.

“Rolling loud? More like rolling the dice to see if you show up,” one Instagram user writes under Ye’s announcement. Another says, “Bro’s gonna cancel his set the day before.” Either way, supporters are hopeful that this time around, the performance will go off without a hitch. After all, opportunities to see Ye perform Vultures material have been scarce, and mostly limited to lucky fans able to score pricey tickets to his last-minute listening parties.

Rolling Loud California may not be the only exciting show Ye has lined up, however. Earlier this month, he took to social media to reveal that he was having trouble getting venues to book him, largely due to his antisemitic and otherwise unsavory comments. Luckily, some of his well-connected friends were able to come through for him, and talk of a potential world tour has already begun. Rolling Loud tickets are going on pre-sale on November 16 at 10 a.m. PT, so be sure to get up on time, especially with the different time zones. Names joining him are $uicideboy$, Summer Walker, Big Sean, and a surprise guest. To close it out on Sunday, March 17, Lil Uzi Vert takes centerstage. Rick Ross and Meek Mill will be headlining Hot 97‘s Winter Jam lineup at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City on December 30. The performance comes fresh off of the release of their new collaborative album, Too Good To Be True. Other performers at the event will include Lola Brooke, Shenseea, Byron Messiah, Tee Jay, and more.

According to The Source, Funkmaster Flex hosted an announcement party for Winter Jam at the radio station’s new office, earlier this week. There, he remarked: “Winter Jam will be more than a concert; it’s a festive celebration, a confirmation to the culture we cherish. Brace yourselves for an experience like no other.”

Both Meek and Ross recently spoke with Zane Lowe at Apple Music 1 about the release. Meek explained that the two get “serious” when working together. “When we get in the studio, that sh*tt gets serious. Ross getting into serious mode,” Meek said at the time. “He trying to knock that shit out and get to work. And you know me, he giving me that gas. I’m going to run jumping out that window a hundred miles an hour. But we joke all the time. You’re going to see a lot of that throughout the content and all that. And it’s organic too, Zane. We came up with this idea and we got around each other, built, vibed out and then got in the studio. It don’t matter where we’re recording at, we could be in the closet, Rose going to get this shit done.”

Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, & More To Headline Outside Lands Lineup

Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, the Foo Fighters, and more artists will all be on the Outside Lands lineup for 2023. The festival will be going down at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco from August 11-13. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, March 8 at 10:00 AM, PT through the festival’s website. There will be 3-day general admission passes as well as GA+, VIP, and Golden Gate Club.

Moving down the lineup, Lana Del Rey, the 1975, Alex G, Janelle Monáe, Maggie Rogers, FISHER, Ethel Cain, J.I.D, Lil Yachty, Father John Misty, Cigarettes After Sex, Orville Peck, Willow, Beabadobee, Cuco, Alvvays, and many more artists are all set to perform. In their announcement post on Instagram, Outside Lands noted that they’ll be celebrating 15 years at Golden Gate Park.

The headlining gig for Lamar will come over a year after the release of his fifth studio album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. He made numerous festival appearances throughout his ongoing The Big Steppers Tour in promotion of the project. In doing so he brought along Baby Keem as a supporting act. Lamar has also previously headlined or is scheduled to headline Rolling Loud, Primavera Sound, Glastonbury Festival, Bonnaroo Music Festival, Governors Ball Music Festival, and more.

Lil Baby and Travis Scott will headline Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl Party on February 11th in Phoenix’s Biltmore resort. Also, The Chainsmokers and J Balvin joined the two MCs as performers for the event. Furthermore, the big party will allegedly have Jay-Z, Kevin Hart, and many more in attendance.

Moreover, a press release billed this big show as the “hottest party” of the weekend, excluding Rihanna’s show, of course. However, this isn’t all that Travis in particular has to look forward to that weekend. In addition, he’ll headline Rolling Stone Live, taking place on February 10th close by in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Additionally, performers at that event include DJ and MC Irie and DJ Whoo Kid. Also, the American Cancer Society, Crown Royal, Bodyarmor, Hemper, Jardin Premium Cannabis Dispensary, and more sponsored the live performance.

Meanwhile, those more excited about Sunday night itself have a lot to anticipate. For example, Rihanna’s years-long hiatus from new music have fans salivating for her under-wraps halftime performance. However, rumors spread that Jay-Z and Roc Nation helped her out, although a guest appearance is unconfirmed.

Still, the Apple Music-sponsored show is already building anticipation alongside fans of the big game. Moreover, they began their Road to Halftime rollout campaign, which includes Spatial Audio remixes from her catalog. Also, they launched a retrospective Halftime Hype Radio series to get fans ready.
