After beginning her career as an outspoken feminist and previously stating that she would “never” support Donald Trump when he ran for president in 2016 and 2020, Amber Rose has made a full 180. She spoke at the Republican National Convention after becoming a vocal supporter of the party’s presidential nominee earlier this year. That decision was met with heavy criticism. Fans pointed to her “SlutWalk” initiative and previous support for sexual assault survivors, while pointing to Trump’s lengthy list of sexual assault allegations.

Trump came under fire after his debate with Kamala Harris for several reasons. The biggest reason being the assertion that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, are entering the town and eating residents’ pets. Moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis of ABC News immediately refuted the quote, citing a lack of credible evidence. But, the damage was done. Trump’s quote quickly went viral, spawning memes and, evidently, leading to new believers in a wholly unfounded theory. In a brief interview with TMZ on Thursday, Rose backed Trump’s claim.

Amber Rose Backs Donald Trump’s Latest Big Lie

“Haitian immigrants are absolutely eating people’s cats and dogs in Springfield,” Rose stated. When questioned by the interviewer, who cited local officials saying the claims were false, Rose doubled down. She added that she’d seen social media videos corroborating the allegations. “I’ve seen videos online where people claim their pets were taken by Haitian immigrants,” Amber Rose said. Trump said something similar when challenged at the debate, claiming he saw this happening on television. Rose also claimed that Haitian people eating cats and dogs is part of Haitian culture, which is, again, false.

Wyclef Jean, a Haitian immigrant himself, previously denounced Trump’s claims. “On behalf of Haitian Americans, I ask that we stop these racist messages and accusations. Put our hands out in peace and say thanks for being my neighbor,” he said in a statement sent to TMZ on September 12. Amber Rose is not going to be the last to subscribe to this unfounded theory, nor will she be the last rap-adjacent personality to become such a public Trump supporter. As for Trump himself, he’s stated that he has no interest in debating Vice President Kamala Harris again. However, the vice presidential debate between Ohio senator JD Vance and Minnesota governor Tim Walz is on October 1.

Overall, he has lost all of his good will. He no longer has that fanbase that carried him throughout 2018. Moreover, he doesn’t really make rap anymore. Recently, the rapper found himself in a bit of a legal bind in the Dominican Republic. He was looking for ways to escape, and he eventually got out. In a new interview, 6ix9ine did what he knows best: snitching. According to DJ Akademiks, the rapper revealed that the country of Haiti helped him sneak out. While the exact details of this escape are scarce, he noted that they essentially smuggled him out of the country. He subsequently got on a flight and made it back safely to the United States.

Moving forward, it remains to be seen what is truly next for 6ix9ine. At the end of the day, he is not someone well-liked by his peers. Fat Joe Teams Up with Food For The Poor to Aid Haiti’s Humanitarian Crisis

Grammy-nominated artist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Fat Joe has embarked on a noble mission to aid families affected by Haiti’s recent humanitarian crisis. Partnering with Food For The Poor, Fat Joe announced establishing a relief fund to offer support and essential supplies to those enduring hardship in Haiti.

The initiative, launched during Haitian Heritage Month in May, comes in response to the surge of violence that engulfed Haiti in early March. Armed gangs perpetrated acts of violence, including burning police stations, raiding prisons, and facilitating prison breaks, leading to mass displacement and a dire humanitarian situation.

Kodak Black is giving back to the people of Haiti.  The famed rapper, born Bill Kahan Kapri, is donating $50,000 to send more than 35,000 bottles of water to Haiti.  The plan is to transport the water from Florida to Haiti using cargo ships.

Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen confirmed the 25-year old Florida native worked with a Miami supplier to bottle and process the alkaline water shipment, which is now on a cargo ship and headed to Haiti.

The alkaline water bottles say “LAST” because “Kodak wants this to be the last time anyone in Haiti goes without water, ” said Cohen. As soon as the shipment arrives, Kodak and his team are going to work with the government officials to make sure it gets to those who need it most.
