Hailey Bieber Addresses Rumor She “Stole” Justin Bieber From Selena Gomez

Hailey Bieber insists that she didn’t steal her husband Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez, as has been rumored. The model shot down the idea while appearing on a recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

“Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as [Gomez]?” host Alex Cooper asked Hailey on the show.

“This is so crazy. I’ve literally never talked about this ever,” Hailey said. “A lot of the perpetuation and the hate comes from ‘Oh, you stole him.’ It’s about people knowing the truth. Because there’s a truth.”

Hailey and Justin began dating back in December 2015 for a brief period but broke things off shortly after. In June 2018, they reconciled and got engaged a month later. By that November, they were married.

“When him and I ever started like hooking up or like anything of that sort, he was not ever in a relationship, ever at any point,” Hailey continued. “It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would just never do that. I’m not interested in doing that and I never was.”

Hailey added that she respects Selena, and the two have even spoken after her marriage to Justin.

Fashion Company ‘RHODE’ Sues Hailey Bieber For Trademark Infringement Claiming She Stole The Name

Justin and Hailey

In the case of RHODE Vs. Rode, a 9-year minority-owned fashion brand owned by Purna Khatau and Phobe Vickers filed a lawsuit against Hailey Bieber for trademark infringement after the model and wife of Justin debuted a skincare line with the same name, which happens to be her middle name.  The fashion line, which has been worn by Beyonce, Rihanna and sold in luxury stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and according to the lawsuit is expected to make $14.5 Million this year alleges that after Bieber launched her Rhode Skincare line earlier this month, Khatau and Vickers immediately began to see confusion in the marketplace which has already hurt their brand.  The partners asked the court for a preliminary injunction ordering Hailey to stop using the name “Rhode”  to prevent further confusion.   “The brand Rhode is everything we have worked hard to achieve, and her using our name is hurting our company, our employees, our customers, and our partners,” they said in the statement. The co-founders said Hailey attempted to buy the rights to the name from them four years ago, but they declined. “the magnitude of Bieber’s following and the virality of her marketing will cause immediate, ongoing, and irreparable harm to the Rhode brand.”  Hailey Bieber, married to Justin Bieber, is a celebrity with over 45 million followers on Instagram, another 9.2 million on TikTok, and a circle of A-list friends including fellow beauty entrepreneur Kylie Jenner. She has leveraged social media to promote her brand, with a single post promoting the beauty brand garnering over 1.5 million likes. The founders claim that some consumers on Instagram have been tagging the wrong Rhode in photos.

See their full statement on Instagram below, Beibers Rhode brand has not responded.

In a separate statement, the clothing brand’s lawyer, Lisa T. Simpson, said that the situation is “unfortunate.”

“We, of course, understand that Hailey wants to use her middle name for her brand, but the law on this is clear: you can’t create this kind of brand confusion just because you want to use your name,” she said. “What Ms. Bieber is doing is harming a minority co-owned business that two women have painstakingly built into a growing, global brand.”

Normani Wanted To Hang From The Ceiling And Have Alligators At The ‘Wild Side’ Video Until She Found Out Cardi B Was Pregnant

Hailey Bieber might be leaning into her role as the wife of superstar Justin Bieber, but that hasn’t stopped her from doing plenty of things on her own, either. Most recently, she launched a mini show interviewing some of her famous friends in her own bathroom, complete with a dining table and prepared snacks of the visitor’s choice. Past guests on Who’s In My Bathroom have included fellow model Kendall Jenner, and rising pop star The Kid Laroi, and today’s guest was none other than Normani.

After Normani taught her proper technique for eating crab legs, Hailey called the rising pop star a once in a generation talent, and heard a little bit more about her experience moving to Houston after her family was displaced from New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina. Eventually, the conversation naturally turned to Normani’s latest single, “Wild Side,” which features none other than Cardi B — who rather infamously starred in the video while she was pregnant. Normani admits she had higher expectations for the clip before learning Cardi’s movements would necessarily be limited. “Cardi, she was pregnant while we shot the music video,” Normani begins around the 5:30 mark. “I initially had the idea of us like hanging from the ceiling wrapped in chains, and like, I think really really big. I wanted there to be like, alligators swarming around us in the water, you know the scene we had together. And they’re like, ‘you know, she’s pregnant.’ And I’m like ohhhhh.”

So chains and alligators were off the menu for the moment! Obviously the “Wild Side” video still came out great though. Check out the full interview above.

Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Having Children And Starting A Family With Justin

Justin Bieber and Hailey have been married for a little over two years now and some fans have been wondering when the couple will start a family of their own. The subject came up once again during a recent interview Hailey did with The Wall Street Journal.

“There’s this thing that happens for women when you get married,” she said. “Everybody always assumes it’s: First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby. Well, what about all the things I want to accomplish in my business?” Hailey noted that she always thought she was going to be a young mother, but as of late, she’s let go of that idea. “I think I had it ingrained in my head that I was going to want to have kids right away and I was going to want to have kids super, super young,” she said. “Then I turned 25 and I’m like, I’m still super, super young!”

Her comments come after Justin Bieber shared his desire to start a family soon. “My intention for 2021 is to continue to set goals and have fun while doing them,” he said during his 2021 documentary Justin Bieber: Our World. “Make sure I put my family first… and hopefully we squish out a nugget.”
