Selena Gomez wants her fans to be kinder and more aware of the mental health of others, amid the ongoing drama between her and Hailey Bieber. Gomez made the comments in the comments section of her latest TikTok on Sunday. She said that said her “heart has been heavy” as of late.

“Thank you and love you all so much. I’m deeply grateful for each and every one of you humans. You make me unbelievably happy.” She then added in a second comment: “Please, please be kinder and consider others’ mental health. My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”

As for the drama with Hailey, the model made a post about over-laminating her eyebrows, which many took to be a jab at Gomez. She later downplayed the idea: “This is reaching. no shade towards selena ever and i didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.” Hailey was also believed to be throwing shade at Justin Bieber’s ex in another post, which featured the song “Calm Down” by Rema. She recalled a specific pink dress she rocked a few years back. “I feel like I have a lot, but the biggest one that comes to mind in this moment is, a couple of years ago I wore this pink … it was this boxy-looking vest dress, and I thought it was going to be the cutest thing ever. After posting a seemingly innocent photo on Instagram, Kylie Jenner has been flamed with accusations claiming that she’s making fun of Selena Gomez. The ordeal started after the former Disney Channel star posted a Tik Tok showing off her eyebrows. Gomez was simply trying to mimic Bella Hadid’s iconic catwalk look, but instead noted, “I laminated my brows too much.” Following the post, Jenner posted a story on Instagram with her eyebrows at the center of attention. But, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star denies the accusations, calling it “silly.” She took to Tik Tok to comment under @devotedly.yours video, “this is reaching. no shade towards selena ever and i didn’t see her eyebrow posts!” Gomez also responded to the comment, further emphasizing how the two had respect for each other. “Agreed,” she wrote, “it’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”

Just last year, Gomez was called out for teasing Bieber. After the 26-year-old model posted a video promoting her skincare line, Gomez seemingly posted a video mocking her. Having received intense backlash for the shady post, she deleted comments. Her last statement was, “this is why I believe in taking care of your mental health. Hailey Bieber has been trending a lot these days, but not for her famous husband or modeling. It was for her response to the discourse surrounding nepotism in the media and entertainment industry.

In December, Vulture released an article titled “Year of the Nepo Baby,” which sparked a major debate about “nepo babies” that have become famous, including Euphoria‘s Maude Apatow (who is the daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann), Maya Hawke of Stranger Things, ( the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman), and more. The 26-year-old model, who is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, offered her own cheeky response to the online discourse with an interesting fashion statement.

Bieber was seen around town in LA, wearing a plain white tee with the lego “Nepo Baby” on it. Some people loved it, like actress Gweneth Paltrow. In the comment section of InStyle’s official Instagram that noted Bieber’s look, Paltrow implied that she’d even consider wearing one herself.

“I might need a few of these,” the star commented.

UK singer-songwriter Charli XCX also joined in, writing, ” I respect the nepo baby t-shirt attempt.” The comments were flooded with hilarious responses to the singer’s tweet, wondering if it was an attempt to shade the model.

The top is a reference to a piece published on New York Magazine’s Vulture.com that went viral, last month. Along with the crop top, Bieber wore a pair of light-wash jeans and a studded belt.

The article takes a deep dive into nepotism in the entertainment industry. It makes reference to Maude Apatow, Lily-Rose Depp, Maya Hawke, and many more, in addition to Hailey Bieber.

Bieber is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and the niece of Alec Baldwin.

“In 2022, the internet uncovered a vast conspiracy: Hollywood was run on an invisible network of family ties — and everybody was in on it!” Nate Jones wrote in the Vulture piece. “Everyone is someone’s kid, but it was as if everybody were somebody’s kid.”

Numerous celebrities have derided the piece, including Tom Hanks, Jamie Lee Curtis, and more.

While Hailey Bieber hasn’t commented directly on it until now, she has spoken about the influence of her parents in the past. Speaking with Grazia in 2016, she explained: “I want to do everything on my own without my name being a factor. I try to keep myself separate from it. Kids that already have a famous background are just following in their families’ footsteps. My dad [Stephen Baldwin] and all of his brothers have done this. This is my family business.”

In addition to being related to both Stephen Baldwin and Alec Baldwin, Hailey is married to Justin Bieber. The two got engaged in July 2018 and were married by the end of that year.

Hailey Bieber Addresses Rumor She “Stole” Justin Bieber From Selena Gomez

Hailey Bieber insists that she didn’t steal her husband Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez, as has been rumored. The model shot down the idea while appearing on a recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

“Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as [Gomez]?” host Alex Cooper asked Hailey on the show.

“This is so crazy. I’ve literally never talked about this ever,” Hailey said. “A lot of the perpetuation and the hate comes from ‘Oh, you stole him.’ It’s about people knowing the truth. Because there’s a truth.”

Hailey and Justin began dating back in December 2015 for a brief period but broke things off shortly after. In June 2018, they reconciled and got engaged a month later. By that November, they were married.

“When him and I ever started like hooking up or like anything of that sort, he was not ever in a relationship, ever at any point,” Hailey continued. “It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would just never do that. I’m not interested in doing that and I never was.”

Hailey added that she respects Selena, and the two have even spoken after her marriage to Justin.
