Joe Budden Slams “Bozos” Travis Scott & Playboi Carti For Grammy Performance

Joe Budden called out Travis Scott and Playboi Carti during the latest episode of his podcast in response to their Grammy performance. He labeled their appearance on stage, “f*ckin stupid” and called them “bozos.” While he says he likes the song,” Fein,” he didn’t think it made sense for the event.

“What the f**k is Travis and his man doing up here?” Budden began. “Ay, you two bozos! Get the f**k off the stage when n***as got beautiful women and tuxedos on, honestly. You up there smashing s**t. You got the nerve.” From there, Budden’s co-host compared the set to Scott’s Super Bowl performance.

Budden continued: “All that s**t look different when it ain’t a thousand little white kids jumping up and down. When there are grown people here, all that ‘fein, fein, fein,’ that’s what you wanted to win over Killer Mike? You’re f**kin’ stupid!” Of Playboi Carti specifically, he added: “You bring your man out, Playboi Carti. The crowd just stays silent. Playboi Carti looked confused like, ‘y’all don’t know who I am?” No, n***a! You got a f**king mask on. Who the f**k are you under there? You are not at SXSW anymore! We can’t recognize you Bozo’s by the stocking mask you wearing. I hate these n***as, man, all of ’em! I love that song, I love that song, but not when tuxedos are out. Take that s**t to the dirty Coachella grass n***a. N***a’s showered and lathered themselves tonight.” Check out the full remarks below.

Travis Scott Calls Out Grammys Mid-Performance After Being Snubbed 10 Times

Music award shows can be a controversial thing for artists or fans to discuss. For instance, we know how Drake and Eminem feel about the Recording Academy. Their opinions on the Grammys are well-documented at this point. Now, we know how Travis Scott views it. He let his emotions be clear as day during his hat-trick performance at the 66th Grammys last night. Travis Scott led with two of his most popular cuts from UTOPIA, “MY EYES” and I KNOW ?” The more mellow cuts were a stark contrast to the explosiveness of “FE!N.”

The rage track, featuring Playboi Carti, turned out to be the perfect moment for La Flame to set the Recording Academy ablaze. Travis Scott shouted “They slept on me 10 times!” in place of the song’s traditional lyrics. Yes, believe it or not, he has never won a GRAMMY award in 10 overall nominations. One of his most shocking snubs was back in 2018 when he lost Best Rap Album to Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy.

Travis Let’s The Academy Know How He Feels

Many felt Cardi should not have won that year over all of the nominees. Fans of Travis Scott were expectedly stunned when they found out he was “snubbed” again. One fan comments, “lol if I’m trav im leavin.” Another adds, “man he should’ve won.” However, the winner this year was more respectable than back in 2018 in many people’s eyes. Killer Mike, one half of Run The Jewels, swept almost every rap category. He went on to take Best Rap Album, Rap Performance, and Rap Song. While UTOPIA was a great album, it seems Travis has to step his game up even further to snag a GRAMMY award.

What are your thoughts on Travis Scott saying that he was slept on during his “FE!N” performance at the Grammys? Do you think we will ever win an award, why or why not? Do you think he will continue to submit his work to the Recording Academy after going 0-10? Did he have the best performance of the night? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Travis Scott Brings Playboi Carti Out For Grammy Performance

Travis Scott brought out Playboi Carti at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday night for a performance on his songs “Fein” and “My Eyes.” In doing so, he brought rage-filled energy to the stage alongside flamethrowers and strobe lights. While on stage, Scott shouted, “They slept on me 10 times!”

The performance came after Scott lost the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album to Killer Mike’s Michael. Other nominees in the category included Metro Boomin (HEROES & VILLAINS), Nas (King’s Disease III), and Drake & 21 Savage (Her Loss). It marked Scott’s 10th losing nomination over the course of his career. He’s still yet to win. Unsurprisingly, his fans were furious with the result. “Travis Scott deserved this one especially after the grammys disaster of 2018,” one argued on Twitter.

Best Rap Album wasn’t the only honor Killer Mike took home at the ceremony. He also won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance with his track “Scientists & Engineers.” It’s the first time he’s won a Grammy since 2003, when he took home Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for his work on Outkast’s “The Whole World.” The night wasn’t all positive for Mike. After accepting his awards, he was seen being taken out of the venue in handcuffs by police. The arrest reportedly stemmed from a misdemeanor battery charge regarding an incident that took place outside the Crypto.com arena. Check out Travis Scott’s performance at the Grammys below.

Beyonce Won’t Perform At This Weekends Grammys, Despite Rumors

Beyonce fans just got some pretty disappointing news. All week, rumors have swirled that she could join the already announced cast of performers for this weekend’s Grammys. Foreign news agencies spread reports that Beyonce would be performing a tribute to the late Tina Turner. It sounds like the kind of thing that very well could happen given the Grammys history with tributing legendary figures in music and Beyonce’s continued critical and commercial success.

But earlier today the rumors were officially confirmed to be false. The Hollywood Reporter spoke to a representative for the “BREAK MY SOUL” hitmaker. They officially confirmed that the superstar will not be taking the Grammy stage this year. It comes just a few days after Taylor Swift went through a similar process. Following rumors that she could be performing during this year’s ceremony a representative officially confirmed that she isn’t. But fans hoping to watch the show will still get plenty of high-profile artists to watch. Burna Boy, 21 Savage, Luke Combs, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Joni Mitchell, Brandi Carlisle, Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, and U2 are all set to take the stage.

Beyonce’s Tina Turner Grammy Tribute Rumors Aren’t True

Earlier this week, footage of Beyonce seemingly shooting a music video leaked online. The clip of her in front of a green screen reignited fan’s hope that her 2022 album Renaissance would eventually get some kind of visuals. Calls for visuals have been coming from fans for months and Bey has only really addressed it once. Last year, during a tour stop she told fans “you are the visuals” seemingly implying that they didn’t exist.

Many fans took her word for that but the newly leaked video has them reconsidering. Bey could always have been working on visuals for something else entirely. What do you think of rumors about Beyonce’s potential Grammy performance not being true? Whose performance are you most excited to see during this year’s show? Let us know in the comment section below.
