Quavo Raps If It Weren’t For Him, “It Probably Wouldn’t Be QC”

Unc & Phew are lighting up Hip Hop with another viral moment and they pave the way for their joint album’s arrival. There has been a dust-up among the Migos as legal and personal troubles seem to be plaguing the trio. In recent months, there has been an increase in visibility with Quavo and Takeoff, but Offset has been noticeably absent.

When Quavo and Takeoff began releasing music without their third, there were rumors about a breakup or some animosity. Then, on the heels of Offset releasing his single, it was shared that he was taking Quality Control Music to court over his solo career.

As the legal system addresses those concerns and fans speculate about the future of Migos, Takeoff and Quavo have announced their collaborative album, Only Built For Infinity Links. That record is slated for delivery next week and judging from a clip that surfaced on social media, the pair of rappers were previewing new music.

In the video, Quavo can be heard rapping: “If it weren’t for P, sh*t, it probably wouldn’t be no me / And if weren’t for me, sh*t, it probably wouldn’t be QC / Just some dumb rich n*ggas tryin’ to get it out the streets / Can’t let ego, can’t let money come between the team.”

Toya Johnson’s Fiancé Uses Will Smith Oscars Clip To Respond To Memphitz

Things are getting spicy over on Instagram and people are a tad confused. Although Toya Johnson is widely known in Hip Hop as Lil Wayne’s ex-wife and mother of their daughter, Reginae Carter, but she’s long established herself as a businesswoman outside of her ties to the Rap icon. She’s written books and starred in unscripted television shows, including Marriage Boot Camp with ex-husband, Memphitz.

Johnson and the music executive wed in 2011, but by 2015, the relationship ended. She is now engaged to Robert “Red” Rushing and the pair, who share a young daughter, are reportedly set to exchange “I dos” before the year’s end. However, for some reason, Memphitz decided to stir the pot.

He shared pictures of him and Johnson during happier times, including a photo of them sharing a kiss on the red carpet all those years ago. “Farewell My Love. Goodbye & Congrats,” Memphitz wrote over the image.

It was a walk down memory lane that Rushing didn’t appreciate.

In response, Rushing uploaded a clip of Will Smith’s infamous moment at the Academy Awards earlier this year. “Keep my wife’s name out your f*cking mouth,” Smith yelled in the video. In the caption, Rushing shared a few thoughts.

“I was raised in GA, one thing my good brother @troubleman31 always taught us,” he began. “’DISRESPECT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED..PERIOD!!!’ AND IM STANDING ON THAT SH*T 110 PERCENT.”

Kodak Black Upsets Public With PnB Rock Chicken & Waffles Tribute

The Los Angeles Police Department worked quickly to identify and arrest the suspects they believed were involved in PnB Rock’s murder. Hip Hop lost the Philadelphia rapper after he was robbed and gunned down at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles. A video of the horrific scene was shared on social media and quickly, speculative reports surfaced, blaming Rock’s girlfriend for sharing their location.

After facing public scrutiny, the rapper’s girlfriend was seemingly cleared. It was later reported that the alleged suspects involved were apparently in the parking lot of the eatery prior to PnB Rock showing up, making the callous murder a chance encounter.

Three people have been arrested and charged with the crime, including a 17-year-old who was reportedly named as the shooter. His father, Freddie Lee Trone, and stepmother, Shauntel Trone, have been designated as accomplices to the crime and its cover-up.

“The murder of Mr. Allen dimmed a bright light in the lives of his fans, friends and most importantly his family,” District Attorney George Gascón reportedly stated. “The accused individuals’ alleged actions in this case were heartless and cruel and robbed the world of Mr. Allen’s talents.”

As this news was shared, Kodak Black appeared on social media with a tribute of sorts for PnB Rock by uploading a photo that showed a plate of chicken and waffles. Some people quickly took to the internet to call him out for being insensitive.

Kim Kardashian Advocates For Gunna’s Release

She has a proven track record of helping the incarcerated attain freedom, and Kim Kardashian looks to be advocating for Gunna’s release. The rapper has remained behind bars for months, following being named alongside Young Thug and several others in a massive RICO case in Georgia. The authorities claim that YSL is not a record label but a criminal street gang, however, both Thugger and Gunna’s teams have stated otherwise.

When it was first announced that the two rappers were taken into custody, people began sending Kardashian public pleas to help in their release.

It was recently shared that Gunna reportedly filed paperwork for a 3rd bond hearing. In the documents, his legal team argued that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to continue to hold him, and as that information circulated, Kardashian shared a message on her Instagram Story.

“Gunna has reportedly been dropped from any violence acts and hasn’t been named by any of the witnesses,” the post reads. “He’s spent 141 days in jail so far and will have a 3rd attempt at bond soon.”

The upload was accompanied by an Instagram post that reads, “FREE GUNNA.”

It has been expected that Gunna would find his way home soon, and possibly most charges dropped, but conversations regarding Young Thug’s case are more ominous. Investigators have named him as the head of YSL and alleged that the Rap icon has been personally responsible for calling shots on illegal activities. One issue that is continuously mentioned is Thugger’s animosity with YFN Lucci, as authorities claimed that Thugger was involved in an attack on Lucci behind bars.

Both Thugger and Gunna have denied the allegations against them. They are reportedly slated to go to trial early next year.

Kendrick Lamar Includes Just One Name In His “Mount Rushmore Of Style”

Twitter users often debate about who belongs on the Mount Rushmore of Rap, but when it comes time to hand out the awards to those who belong on the Mount Rushmore of Style, West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar believes that just one person should be recognized.

On Thursday (September 29), the Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers artist hopped on Twitter to show some love to Grammy Award-winning producer Taz Arnold, who has an undeniably distinct sense of fashion that’s earned him praise from fellow creatives all across the industry.

“The Westside original,” Lamar wrote above four photos of Arnold included in his tweet. “My Mount Rushmore of Style.”

As HipHopDX notes, aside from just admiring his fashion sense, the father of two has also connected with his friend on a musical level. Arnold, who’s a part of the genre-bending L.A. group The Sa-Ra Creative Partners, co-produced three tracks on 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly – “u,” “Momma,” and “For Sale? (Interlude).”

The “Glorious” artist had high praise for Lamar after working with him in the studio, saying, “He’s ill man. He directs people.”

“He writes his own material to a whole other level. He writes your material. He’s like, ‘Can you say these parts?’ He’s good to work in the studio. I was very impressed with his acumen and his skill set.”

Nick Cannon & Brittany Bell Welcome Their 3rd Baby Together

Nick Cannon is a father, once again.

On Friday (September 30), the 41-year-old announced via Instagram that he and Brittany Bell have welcomed their third child together – a boy named Rise Messiah Cannon – making the entertainer now officially a father of 10.

Though some have expressed disappointment in Nick’s decision to have so many children with an assortment of baby mamas, he continues to maintain that his current approach is what feels right to him.

When sharing the exciting news of his youngest’s arrival, Cannon wrote, “Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable.”

The California native continued, “But more importantly he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life. I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need,” before thanking Bell for being “the rock and foundation of [his] Fatherhood journey.”

Cannon praised the mother of three for educating him “about parenting, psychology, spirituality, love, and just life in general.” He mentioned that his co-parent “didn’t want a baby shower and needed NOTHING! All she desired was PRAYER from her authentic Loved Ones!”

Although Bell was a champion throughout it all, her baby daddy revealed that her labour was far from easy, consisting of “48 hours of excruciating pain and life-risking danger” before their 10-pound bundle of joy arrived.

The pair are already parents to 5-year-old son Golden Sagon and nearly 2-year-old daughter, Powerful Queen.

Jhené Aiko Shares A September Bump Dump Featuring Big Sean: Photos

It’s been a busy year in the baby-making department for several of our favourite recording artists, including Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, NBA YoungBoy and Jazlyn Mychelle, as well as Big Sean and Jhené Aiko.

The R&B songstress is already a mother of one from her past relationship with Omarion’s brother, O’Ryan, but for the better part of the last year, she’s been carrying around her first child with the “Mercy” rapper, who hasn’t been able to stop gushing about how eager he is for fatherhood.

As her due date nears closer and closer, Aiko has shared a “September bump dump” with her 15.1 million Instagram followers, revealing to the world just a few of the amazing outfits she and her bump have been sporting over the past few weeks.

The “Sativa” hitmaker kicked things off with a mirror selfie wearing baggy blue jeans and a white tank top, keeping things casual before she changed into a tight white dress with some glamorous makeup on the second slide.

Afterward, Big Sean made an appearance, holding his girlfriend’s budding belly in his hands while she made duck lips for the camera – the same expression later appeared in more of the uploads.

Aside from the mirror selfies and romantic couple snapshots, Aiko also posed alongside her oldest, 13-year-old Namiko Love Browner, showing how similar the two look thanks to the California native’s clearly strong genes.

Despite being almost ready to pop, Jhené has been booked and busy in recent weeks, performing a “magical” show for audiences at the Greek Theatre while 31 weeks pregnant.

Dwyane Wade Says He Blocks Daughter Zaya’s Comments “For Mental Health & Privacy”

Dwyane Wade takes much pride in being a dad. The father of four is never shy about publicly defending and protecting his cubs. When it comes to daughter, Zaya Wade, the 3-time NBA Champion pulls all the stops to make sure she feels safe and secure as she navigates her gender journey. 

Last month, Wade filed a court motion to legally change 15-year old Zaya’s gender and name from Zion Malachi Airamis Wade to Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade. The Miami Heat legend filed court docs, stating that he has “full authority” to file the petition without the consent of Zaya’s mother, Siohvaughn Funches. The courts however did send Funches a courtesy notice of Wade’s petition.

The 15-year old recent made headlines after showing off her new long, flowing tresses in a Tiffany & Co. campaign. She shared the stunning pics to her Instagram story, writing, “Dreams become reality.” While both celebs and fans gushed over the photo on social media, many noticed that some of the comments under Zaya’s pic had been blocked. After one fan questioned the Wade family’s decision to limit her comment section, D. Wade hopped on to Twitter to explain. 

“For Zaya’s mental health and privacy we’ve decided not to allow the hate into her comments, “ he tweeted. The NBA legend added, “Thank you for wanting to spread and send her love.” The heartwarming tweet comes just days after the 40-year old dad gushed over his daughter’s model-esque Tiffany & Co. photos by flooding the comment section with heart-eye emojis. 

Wade also shared back in June that he fears for his daughter’s life, sharing at a summit, “As blessed as it is for my daughter to have parents who can support her, I’m still afraid every moment she leaves the house. And not just because of gun violence, but because of the way people perceive her in this world.”

Diddy Tipped Someone $250K After Winning $2Mil In Vegas

Diddy truly is all about the benjamins. The Bad Boy founder has his hands in everything from Tequila to television stations, — so money is never really an option. He proved so last month after purchasing a $6.5 million, 9,655-square-foot mansion in Los Angeles. Last year, he bought back his Sean John Clothing brand for a cool $7.6 million. 

The generous music mogul doesn’t hoard his coins just for himself. Earlier this month, he gifted his “Shawty Wop,” Yung Miami, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 which starts at $160,500. It seems like Diddy is in a giving spirit these days. During a recent interview with iHeart Radio, the 52-year Harlemite revealed that he once tipped someone $250,000.

“I had won $2 million in Vegas, so I tipped the person that was the dealer the quarter of a million.”  According to the “Gotta Move On” rapper, he’s no stranger to leaving big tips. He added, “You know when I’m on a yacht, it’s a tip for the whole crew. If I win, we all win!” No word on when Diddy tipped the lucky casino dealer. However, he was recently in Las Vegas for the 2022 iHeart Music Festival earlier this month. 

Aside from his moving performance at this year’s show, it was Diddy’s alleged guest, Daphne Joy, that had the Internet buzzing. Joy, who shares a child with 50 Cent, was called out by the Power creator for reportedly hanging out with Diddy. The mom and former video model penned a note to 50 on social media, asking to “be left alone.” 

“Although my child’s father and I parted ways, I shifted my focus on my sons well being emotionally, spiritually, and everything in between,” she wrote in the note. “I’m so tired of defending my character, being pre judged and constantly being Villainized.”Diddy has yet to confirm or deny his relationship with Daphne. Chris Brown’s “Stalker” Ran Truck Over A Tesla

Fans are known to go the extra mile in order to get close to the artists they love and Chris Brown knows all too well the lengths fans will go to. The singer’s dedicated supporters have been highlighted in newsreels for decades as their over-the-top antics have earned coverage, but this time, it’s Brown who is shining a light on someone who was a little too close for comfort.

On his Instagram Story, Brown shared a photo of a Chevrolet pick-up truck parked on top of a Tesla.

While the details of how this occurred or who was behind the wheel remain unknown, Brown did offer a tad bit of context.

“Bruh [eyeballs emoji] wtf?! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS PEOPLE ARE REALLY FRIED!!!” he wrote over the image. “Another stalker … this time these folks done ran into somebody’s sh*t. Sh*t look like the hulk just placed this Truck on top this Tesla.”

It’s unclear where Brown may have been when he came across this scene, but we can only imagine the ire of the Tesla owner who had to deal with this.
