Former Atlanta Falcons Star Arrested After Shooting At Car

Former Atlanta Falcons star William Moore has been arrested after an altercation ended with Moore shooting at a car with a child inside. According to reports from TMZ, the incident was called to the police as a domestic dispute. However, when Lawrenceville, Ga police arrived at the scene, a woman mentioned Moore had shot at her car. According to reports, Moore shot at the vehicle while the woman’s niece and son were inside the vehicle. Now Moore will be facing several legal battles.

The disagreement between Moore and the woman allegedly started over Moore’s daughter. Allegedly the niece of the woman and Moore’s daughter got into a disagreement on the playground. Moore allegedly slashed the woman’s tires with a screwdriver. The woman in the equation has yet to let her information be known. However, it appears she will be pressing charges against the former NFL defensive back.

William Moore Facing Several Charges

According to the police, “Moore was booked on two counts of aggravated assault, one count of felony criminal damage to property in the second degree, and one count of felony possession of a firearm or knife during the commission.” Moore has also been charged with two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to children in the third degree. The former Falcons star’s bond is currently set at $21,700. After reports of the incident, police found a vehicle matching the witness’s testimony. That is when Moore was detained by police. However, no comment has been made by Moore or anyone that may be his legal counsel.

William Moore spent all seven seasons of his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons. From 2010 to 2013, Moore started the majority of the season for the Falcons as a safety. However, the 2012 season saw Moore earn the only Pro Bowl selection of his seven-year career. In his final season, Moore started and appeared in eleven games for the Falcons. Aaron Rodgers Currently Owed $107M In 2024

Aaron Rodgers finally became a New York Jet this week. The Jets spent heavily to bring Rodgers to New York. Along with swapping 2023 first-round picks, the Jets also sent a 2023 second-rounder, a 2026 sixth-rounder, and a 2024 conditional second-rounder. The 2024 pick becomes a first-round pick if Rodgers plays 65% of the Jets snaps this season. Rodgers is expected to eclipse that mark easily barring injury, mid-season retirement, or benching. The move immediately shot the Jets into playoff, and even Super Bowl, contention. Rodgers is a seasoned veteran who can bring stability to the quarterback spot for an increasingly young roster in New York. However, the uncertainty around Rodgers’ future may cost the Jets big.

Rodgers Carries A $100M+ Price Tag In 2024

Aaron Rodgers signed a 3-year extension with the Packers last year. That contract is worth $150 million and carried over to the Jets when they traded. In that form, the Jets would have had a $15.8 million cap hit. However, according to ESPN, the Jets and Rodgers have restructured his 2023 payout to stop the team from going over the cap. The Jets added additional space by also restructuring the contract of John Franklin-Myers. The team is currently around $7 million under the cap. However, the restructuring has left the Jets with a massive pay obligation next year.

In 2023, Rodgers will earn the base minimum salary of $1.165 million. This will allow the Jets to sign draft picks and any additional free agents. However, that pushes a vast amount of money into 2024. Rodgers will be owed $107 million. $58.3 million of that will be his option bonus from this year, which has been converted into a base salary for next year. Another $47 million comes from the option bonus for next year. Finally, there is the $1.21 million minimum salary. All that totals $107 million. However, Rodgers has also indicated that he is not with the Jets for a “one-and-done” season and that he wants to add more titles to the Jets locker room. Furthermore, Rodgers and the Jets have indicated that additional restructuring could take place over the season. Rodgers’ current contract runs until 2026. Warren Moon is an underrated NFL legend. He went undrafted in 1978 after an unspectacular college career with the Washington Huskies. So Moon went to Canada, where he became a five-time champion and two-time MVP. That led to a move back to the US in 1984, joining the Houston Oilers. After nine seasons in Texas, Moon bounced between the Vikings, Seahawks, and Chiefs before retiring in 2000. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2006. Moon Backs Alabama’s Bryce Young

The battle for the number one pick has come to a pool of four players. Unless the Carolina Panthers are about the shock the NFL, they are going to take a quarterback. The frontrunners in that race are C.J. Stroud (Ohio State) and Bryce Young (Alabama). However, there is also the possibility that Carolina take Anthony Richardson (Florida). Richardson wowed at the NFL combine and has an incredibly high ceiling, but minimal (and fairly underwhelming) college experience. There is also Will Levis (Kentucky), who has lept into first-pick consideration thanks to an anonymous Reddit post earlier this week.

In Moon’s mind, there is a quarterback who stands out, although it’s not clear-cut. “For me, it’s Bryce Young,” Moon said, “C.J. Stroud is right there but I love Young and the way he plays. The only big negative on him is his size, that’s what everyone’s concerned about. But his instincts, his leadership ability, his playmaking ability, he’s the guy I’ve really enjoyed watching the last couple of years.” Moon continued. Young is also the consensus top pick among draft experts. Only a handful of expert mock drafts have the Panthers taking anyone else. The 2023 NFL Draft gets underway at 8pm EDT on April 27.
