Flo Rida’s Baby’s Mother Claims Rapper Is Not Helping With Son’s Medical Bills After Tragic Fall

Rapper Flo Rida’s baby mother, Alexis Adams says the rapper is not paying his 6-year-old son’s medical bills after the tragic fall from a five-story building.

Their son, Zohar Dillard, sustained some pretty serious injuries after falling out of the New Jersey apartment complex building earlier this month. According to a lawsuit filed by Adams, the minor suffered a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding and collapsed lungs’ after falling from the 5-story height into the concrete ground. Adama allegedes the building management company, Goldberg Management, as well as Pitch Perfect 74, LLC, and unnamed construction companies for negligence, claiming that they were at fault for the fall “by installing windows that posed a hazardous condition and/or by installing incorrect sized guards on said windows,” and ignoring her repeated requests for the proper window guards.

He was taken to the ICU where he underwent medical treatment.

“As a single mom to a special-needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces,” Adams said in a statement to Insider.

She continued: “I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to wilful negligence of our landlord and others involved in failing to take necessary safety measures.”

The suit claims that Zohar ‘has been in great pain and suffering, to his great loss and damage and in the future will suffer great physical and mental pain and suffering’.

Adams is claiming that Flo Rida, real name Tramar Dillard, has not financially helped with health insurance costs which were mandated by a court-ordered child support agreement back in 2018. Adams says this has gone on for years.

Back in January of this year, Adams stated to Insider that Flo Rida had not adequately fulfilled his court-ordered support payments surrounding his son’s education and health insurance.

The rapper was consequently ordered by a Bronx County Family Court to pay Adams $9,000 every month for child support, alongside the total cost of Zohar’s education and health insurance, court filings report.

In response to the tragic fall, the rapper posted a story on Instagram on Wednesday revealing to his 900,000 followers that his son is ‘getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall’.

“I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation,” the father added, before asking his fans to ‘appreciate that this remains [sic] a private matter.’

“I am just so grateful that my son is alive, fighting, and is still here with me. He’s a real-life superhero,” Adams concluded.

According to several confirmed reports, Zohar Dillard, the son of rap star Flo Rida, is in critical condition after falling from the 5th floor of an apartment building in New Jersey.

Alexis Adams, Zohar’s mother, filed a civil suit this week against the building’s owners, with documents stating that the incident occurred on March 4. Adams said that Zohar was left with fractures to his pelvis and feet, collapsed lungs, a lacerated liver and internal bleeding from the fall.

Adams stated in the suit that the building’s windows “posed a hazardous condition” that allowed her son to fall “to the concrete pavement below.”

Adams spoke to News12 New Jersey, stating, “As a single mom to a special-needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved In failing to take necessary safety measures.” 

Flo Rida and Alexis have been publicly battling for custody and child support for years, so Zohar’s father has yet to comment on his on’s fall. Since 2018, Adams and Flo Rida have had a child support agreement in place, where Flo Rida was ordered to pay $9,000 a month plus insurance and education costs. 

Zohar was born with ventriculomegaly, a brain condition that can lead to neurological and learning disabilities, which is why Adams enrolled him in a specialty school for children with neurological disabilities. It has been alleged by Adams that Flo Rida had stopped paying their son’s tuition, in which an unpaid tab of $200K was left on his tuition.

Flo Rida Breaks Silence After 6-Year-Old Son Falls 50 Feet From Apartment

Flo Rida and Alexis Adams, the mother of his 6-year-old son, Zohar, found themselves in a nightmare after their child fell five stories from an apartment window. According to TMZ, Adams filed a lawsuit against several parties, including the construction and window installation companies, following her son’s accident that left him in an ICU. Alexis accused the defendants of negligence following her son’s tragic fall. She claims that her son suffered a lacerated liver, collapsed lungs, fractures to his feet and pelvis, and internal bleeding after falling from their apartment window.

Alexis’ attorney, Steven Haddad, stated in the publication afterward that he fell at least 50 feet and barely survived. Unfortunately for Zohar, he’ll have to learn how to walk again due to the severity of the injury. At this point, the child is currently in a body cast and can hardly move. Unfortunately, there’s no timeline for when Zogar will be allowed to return home. Still, Alexis has been by his side during his time in the hospital. Still, there haven’t been many words from Flo Rida, whose relationship with Zohar has been unclear over the years.

After Hadda’s comments, Flo Rida broke his silence on the matter on Instagram. The rapper thanked his fans and peers for their well-wishes and prayers while assuring that his son receives top-notch medical attention. “Great day, thank you to everyone who reached out with their concerns and prayers for my son,” he wrote. “He is getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall. I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation but I would appreciate that this remains a private matter.”

Following the incident, Alexis Adams also shared a statement regarding her son’s tragic fall. “As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces,” Adams wrote. “I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved In failing to take necessary safety measures.” We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates on the matter.

Flo Rida’s Young Son Reportedly In ICU Following Five-Story Fall

Flo Rida and his family are currently in the midst of a challenging time. According to Daily Voice, his 6-year-old son fell from a five-story building earlier this month. Subsequently, Zohar Dillard was placed in the Intensive Care Unit. However, Dillard remains in the hospital with some very serious injuries. These injuries include collapsed lungs, a shattered pelvis, internal bleeding, a liver laceration, and metatarsal fractures. All of these injuries are very serious and require quite a bit of time for repair and recovery.

Following this bad fall, Dillard’s mom Alexis Adams is now suing the building’s management. This complex is located in Jersey City where Adams currently resides. As she explains in her lawsuit, those in charge of the building were “negligent and careless and did not install size guards on the window.” Overall, she believes this negligence is what caused the horrific fall. Moreover, Dillard has autism and hydrocephalus which means he is already in need of extra care.

It is devastating to see my child go through such pain and trauma knowing that this could’ve been avoided.” At the time of writing this, it has not been made clear how much money Adams is seeking in the lawsuit. As for Flo Rida, he appears to not be involved. Years ago, he was ordered to pay $9,000 per month for child support. Additionally, he called Zohar a “devil child.”

Needless to say, this is not a good situation for anyone involved. It is always incredibly sad when a child is subjected to this kind of devastating injury. Moreover, we hope that Zohar is able to get all the help he needs during this extremely difficult time. A day never goes by without asking what happened to a mainstream artist, more specifically the “Good Feeling” rapper Flo Rida. Who dominated entertainment news for the past few years with the Celsius lawsuit battle. And while caught in the abyss of the high-stakes media mess, we seem to have missed Flo Rida’s presence in the music scene for the longest time. The usual vibrant energy he put out in his music is all but a nostalgic memory.

Back in the 2000s, there wasn’t a year that ended without a party-anthem hit song by the singer-rapper. His absence in entertainment is felt. One would say Flo Rida’s single and feature run is unparalleled to none, from enlisting T-Pain for Low in 07′, the pop song Right Around featuring Kesha, and the dance/electronic hit Whistle in 2011. Drawing back to the Celsius Holdings Inc endorsement deal he was a key player in around 2014 and 2018, Flo Rida transitioned from a rapper to mogul. Newer Pastures in 2023

Preceding the rapper’s hefty multimillion-dollar Celsius court settlement, Flo Rida kicks off the year with plans to create an energy drink, JettSet1, like never done before. The beverage comprises natural components with subtle carbonation and will officially launch in early 2024. The rapper plans to align JettSet1 Enterprises to a success story like the Celsius drink. With the healthy “get the best out of their immune system” unique components, he might be right on the money with this one. Overall, his ultimate goal is to be better than his competition and to produce a drink that reflects his healthy lifestyle reputation.

Also, the Grammy-nominated artist is said to headline the upcoming SUNY Canton Spring Concert for the SUNY Canton College Activities Board. The Board actively recruits artists of various backgrounds to be a part of their annual events, Flo Rida’s attendance is their biggest high-profile headliner ever. The proceeds will impact SUNY Canton’s programs in healthcare, tech, and management. Furthermore, Flo Rida continues his humanitarian streak with another live performance scheduled for The AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s 18th Annual AIDS Walk & Music Festival this coming weekend on Saturday, March 18th, 2023. The goal of the event is to raise a staggering $2 million that will benefit 12 Non-Profit organizations such to mention: Aqua, Latinos Salud, SunServe, Afro Pride Federation, SAVE.LGBT, Broward House, Equality Florida, World AIDS Museum and Educational Center, The Pride Center at Equality Park, Pridelines, Safe Schools South Florida, and Transinclusive.

Flo Rida Destined For Greater

Flo Rida’s potential to tap into other industries is all within his reach. His consistent work ethic since starting out combined with a savvy mindset will take him all the way to the top. Flo Rida Starts His Own Energy Drink Company

Earlier this year, Flo Rida won his settlement against Celsius, and now he will become their rival.  He is taking his 82.6 million dollar winnings from the lawsuit and will open his own energy drink company.  The “Low” rapper calls his new beverage, JettSet1, and it should be in stores at the top of 2024.  The drink is said to have all-natural ingredients, and Flo Rida intends to do what he did for Celsius.

In an interview with Insider, he explains that.

“Coming from the success of Celsius, when they had no name and the marketing was very little, I took that product, and I took it worldwide.  This is the thing that we wanna do with JettSet1.”

JettSet1 will be launched under the Florida native’s new company, JettSet1 Enterprises, co-founded with Dr. George Tabi and Erik Hicks.  It’s clear the rapper already has an edge in the energy drink industry as he has experience with Celsius.  JettSet1 Enterprises have plans to do business across various sectors such as real estate, health, film & television, and biotech.  

This is a perfect business venture for the “Wild Ones” rapper, as he has been known to exercise and care for his body. 

“Everyone knows me as a guy who works out.  You look at my music videos like ‘Good Feeling’ and they are a reflection of me and my healthy lifestyle.  That’s what we want JettSet1 to be.”

Flo Rida Still Has “Unconditional Love,” Even After Celsius Tried To Screw Him Out of $82 Million

This week a Broward County jury awarded Flo Rida $82.6 million in damages in his lawsuit against Celsius, an energy drink manufacturer. 

In 2014, Flo Rida, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, signed an endorsement deal with Celsius and served as a brand ambassador from 2014 to 2018. Although Celsius was a relatively small company at the time, it grew substantially in the following years and made an initial public offering in September 2019, meaning that it is now a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ exchange.  

Flo Rida filed his lawsuit in 2021, claiming that Celsius owed him millions in additional stock options and other bonuses under the terms of his agreement. Flo Rida and Celsius disagree, of course, as to the influence that Flo Rida’s endorsement had on the company’s eventual success.

The bonuses in Flo Rida’s contract were conditioned on Celsius achieving certain sales goals, which the company had met, but did not pay out the bonuses – which included 250,000 shares of Celsius and 1% ownership stake in the company. Flo Rida argued that he had been unaware that he was even eligible for the bonuses because the contract was vague as to how they worked, he did not have access to Celsius’s financial information, nor did they notify him when the goals were met.  

Celsius argued that Flo Rida had waited too long – more than five years – to file his lawsuit and that the statute of limitations had expired, meaning that his claims were barred. However, the jury ultimately rejected this defense, finding that the time limit had not expired because Celsius had been fraudulently concealing the relevant information from Flo Rida concerning his additional compensation  The jury also found that Celsius had breached the 2014 agreement by not paying out the bonuses.

Celsius can appeal the verdict. Flo Rida has stated that he would like to move past the dispute and would work with Celsius again in the future. He says he would take the 1% ownership he was promised in place of the $82.6 million award.   

“I’m still a owner in the company,” he told the Associated Press. “And when you basically planted the seed for something that is successful, you can’t help but have unconditional love.”
