Ja Morant Suspended After Second Gun-Flashing Incident

About two months ago, the Memphis Grizzlies suspended Ja Morant after he flashed a gun on social media. The incident caused a lot of discussion in the NBA world, prompting an apology from the star guard and much debate on his actions. However, it seems that this rabbit hole is open once again after he flashed a gun for the second time on Instagram Live. As soon as news broke on this development, many wondered whether we’d see the same situation play out. Now we have confirmation that the Memphis Grizzlies have indeed suspended the South Carolina native.

“We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant,” the basketball team expressed in a statement issued Sunday (May 14). “He is suspended from all team activities pending League review. We have no further comment at this time.” Unfortunately, this follows a streak of bad luck for the 23-year-old. Recently, reports indicated that not being on an All-NBA team cost him a $39 million bonus. Many debated whether it’s fair to dangle money in a player’s face like that, especially after he played a great season.

Ja Morant Suspended After Another Gun-Toting Clip

Of course, the Memphis Grizzlies’ post-season efforts saw an early end thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers. What’s more is that Ja Morant was out on injury for the playoff series’ second game. As much as he tried his best, the team’s run ended with a 4-2 loss in what was a volatile, exciting, and tense set of games. Given Morant’s talent and determination on the court, news of his extracurriculars and suspension is frankly a devastating loss. Since this is by no means a new occurrence, perhaps the conditions around his return to the Tennessee organization will be much more strict this time around.

Regardless, only time will tell what becomes of his future in not just the team, but the NBA asa whole. Considering his other legal issues, it isn’t looking pretty for him from any angle. Hopefully all parties involved keep learning from this situation, especially when it comes to others’ safety. On that note, for the latest news and updates on Ja Morant, keep checking in with HNHH.

Janelle Monáe Flashes Her Chest To Crowd On Stage, Social Media Gets Seriously Thirsty

If anyone has the world’s attention right now thanks to their salacious antics, it’s certainly Janelle Monáe. The 37-year-old began May on a high note with a trip to the Met Gala. Attendees saw them removing parts of their outfit on the red carpet to eventually unveil their bikini body under a see-through garment. Later in the evening, the vocalist went on to enchant fans even more by performing on top of a bar while wearing nothing more than her bathing suit to preview sultry new music.

Since then, Monáe has only managed to further turn up the heat. Earlier this week, she gave social media yet another sneak peek of her latest single. It came along with confirmation of a release date and title. At the end of the “Lipstick Lover” announcement video, the Kansas City native saunters out of a pool. She’s wearing a cropped, white wet t-shirt, the word “PLEASURE” plastered across the front. Her chest is obviously on full display thanks to the water. Since watching it themselves, fans haven’t held back on thirstily talking about Monáe’s figure.

Janelle Monáe Turns Up the Heat with “Lipstick Lover”

When “Lipstick Lover” landed on Thursday (May 11), it came with an equally NSFW visual that also shows off the R&B starlet’s body. However, it’s nowhere near as revealing as the display Monáe put on while they were performing for an excited audience last night. As the crowd cheered her on in the midst of her song, the provocative artist lifted her crop top to flash her bare breasts to the audience, who seemed pleased with the surprise.

Of course, the moment was captured on camera by a select few and has since been circulating on Twitter and other platforms. While some have been expressing their discontent with Janelle Monáe’s recent outward sexual expression, many more are feeling grateful to watch the songstress shine.

Ja Morant Under NBA Investigation For Seemingly Flashing Gun

The NBA opened an investigation into Ja Morant after he seemingly flashed a gun on his Instagram Live. Moreover, these accusations come after serious allegations that he threatened a 17-year-old with a firearm during an altercation at a pick-up game. Furthermore, the Grizzlies star went live on Friday night (March 3) after their loss to the Denver Nuggets, and seemed to be out at a strip club. In the clip, Morant danced around shirtless and rapped along to YoungBoy’s “Bring ‘Em Out.” Briefly, he held up what seemed to be a gun to the camera.

While it’s unclear whether it was a real firearm or not, the league sought to investigate the incident. “We are aware of a social media post involving Ja Morant and are investigating,” wrote an NBA spokesperson in a statement. Also, they must have the alleged pick-up game at Morant’s Tennessee home in mind as well, as he faced accusations of threatening a young man with a gun. However, following a police investigation, officials declined prosecution in the end due to a lack of evidence. While this next one might seem like a small point, he also did finger gun celebrations during a game against the Houston Rockets.

Such actions and expressions could still fall out of line with league standards of behavior and decency. Still, it’s hard to argue that Ja is anything but a star at this point. As people reacted to the threat allegations, many still stood by his incredible playing. So far in his Memphis career, he helped bring them to two playoff appearances with a 22.5 points per game average. However, that visibility also comes with responsibility, and as such his actions are falling under heavier scrutiny from many.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old recently responded to accusations of wrongdoing and similarly reckless behavior against his friend group, denying all claims. Moreover, people alleged that someone in his group pointed a red dot at a gaggle of Indiana Pacers fans. Whether it’s the wrong crowd or the wrong mentality, it seems like the star guard will have to work hard to clean his image. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for updates on these allegations and the latest from Ja Morant.
