Busta Rhymes Shares Advice For Scar Lip While Gifting Her A Diamond Chain

Busta Rhymes hooked Scar Lip up with a diamond chain and some sage career advice ahead of their performance on 50 Cent’s Final Lap tour in Brooklyn, last week. Scar Lip shared a video of Busta gifting her the piece on social media on Sunday.

“It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice,” he said while putting the chain around her neck. “You feel me, Scar Lip? So be nice, consistently. Consistently.” In the caption, Scar Lip wrote: “Busta rhymes gifted me a diamond chain. I never got anything like this before.” At the end of the video, Busta brings Scar Lip out on stage for their performance.

Scar Lip isn’t the only artist Busta has taken the time to praise in recent days. Earlier this month, Conway the Machine shared a similar video of himself meeting up with the legendary rapper. “One of my favorite, favorite human beings ever, and definitely one of my favorite MCs ever — all eras!” Busta said emphatically in the clip. “That n***a will beat y’all fucking face in with the bars. A s*vage with that shit. Uncivil with the bars.” Conway returned the praise with his own thanks. “This man has shown me and my family nothing but the upmost love and respect since the first time we met,” he wrote in the caption. “Always Been one of the people that I’ve looked up too since the woo Hah days, facts! Also 1 of the only people in this music industry that I can say the love he shows me is actually GENUINE.”

50 Cent Admits D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” Inspired Him To Get In Shape

50 Cent says that D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” music video served as the inspiration for him to get in shape. He explained during a recent interview with Men’s Health that the female response to the video was overwhelming. The initial journey began. however, after his infamous near-fatal shooting in 2000. He says he was put on a liquid diet for six weeks and lost 54 pounds.

“When you slim down, you see everything,” he said of the time. “I’m also working out to get myself stronger, ’cause who’s to say you’re not gonna get hit again?” From there, he brought up the “How Does It Feel (Untitled)” video. “They were talking about a Brad Pitt line!” 50 Cent recalled, referring to Pitt’s appearance in Fight Club. “I’m like, ‘Wait, what’s that?! Oh, nah, that’s important!’”

50 Cent On His “Final Lap” Tour

Prior to his interview with Men’s Health, 50 told his fans that he was getting back into “fighting shape” for his ongoing Final Lap tour. Speaking on Instagram Live in May, he explained: “We gonna do the tour and stuff like that, right? So I’m back working out like that. I always work out, but it’s different when I gotta start running and all that shit. Matter of fact, I’ma show y’all [on] Live every day. Yeah, I’ma do five miles in front of ’em every day.”

50 added: “You gonna see me come back down. I’ma lose at least 25 pounds before [the tour]. I’ll be back in dog shape before I go. I’ma start talking mad shit when I’m back in shape. That’s why I be wanting to fight and shit like that, on the low.”

50 Cent Brings Method Man & Other “Power” Stars To Denver For “Final Lap” Tour Pre-Party

50 Cent brought a number of stars from his various TV projects, including BMF, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force to Denver for a party to celebrate him kicking off the Final Lap tour. Among those in attendance included Method Man, Russell Hornsby, and several more. 50 Cent posted pictures from the night on Instagram, Monday.

“This is why this is the Final Lap,” 50 captioned the post. “I’m gonna change the landscape of film and television. GLG GreenLightGang in Denver ! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #TheFinalLapTour.”

50 Cent has been fully invested in television and film since Power premiered on Starz in 2014. In addition to several spin-off series, he’s also launched BMF, and revealed that he has many more projects in the works. Back in April, he shared on Instagram that he purchased a massive studio space to work on upcoming television shows and movies.

“Well, would you look at here,” he said in a video at the time. “985,000 square feet. Can you say G-Unit studios?” He continued in the caption of the post: “GLG [traffic light emoji] GreenLightGang G-unit film & TV [Bomb emoji] BOOM [Wind emoji] I need room to work [shrug emoji] I don’t miss [Bullseye emoji] [Television emoji] will never be the same.”

50 Cent Says That His Upcoming Tour Could Be His Last

50 Cent says that his highly-anticipated Final Lap Tour could be his last for the foreseeable future. He’s putting on the world tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’. On Instagram Live, he revealed that he’s sold over 500,000 tickets in the week since announcing the dates.

“Because ticket sales are doing so well they’re adding new markets so the UK, North America, and possibly Australia will be in there,” 50 told his fans. “I gotta get to Africa. I got a lot of spots I gotta hit before I be done, because this is the Final Lap Tour.”

He continued: “I won’t be running around like this no more. I gotta do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I gotta work on. So I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring… I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”

For the Final Lap Tour, 50 will be performing a total of 64 shows across the globe. The trek will begin on July 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and see him travel across North America until September 17. At that point, he’ll fly over to Europe and perform in Amsterdam, Oslo, Zurich, Paris, London, and more cities. He’ll be bringing along Busta Rhymes and Jeremih.

50 Cent Updates Fans On His Future Plans

50 Cent recently discussed what fans can expect from the tour during an interview with USA Today. “It’s gonna be a whole new show,” 50 Cent shared of his upcoming concerts. “Sometimes out of habit, you go to certain records. People love other things on it, so I wanna make sure I touch those records before I don’t do those anymore.”
