Will Smith Admits He’s “Made Tons Of Mistakes” During Candid Discussion

Will Smith said he’s “deeply human” while discussing the “tons of mistakes” he’s made throughout his life. He spoke about his public image during a candid conversation at the Red Sea International Film Festival on Saturday.

“I have made tons of mistakes,” he said. “Fame is a unique monster. You can’t get too excited when people say good things about you because then when people say bad things about you, you struggle and suffer more. I have to be clear about who I am and what I am attempting to do in the world.” From there, added: “I have to be clear about who I am and what I am attempting to do in the world, I cannot depend on others applauding me for me to stay focused on my mission. And at the same time, I am deeply human. And I am in the process of perfecting my virtue.”

Travis Scott’s New Movie “Aggro Dr1ft”: Everything We Know

Travis Scott made his grand return with the release of his fourth studio album, Utopia last month. Utopia was a star-studded event that made for the biggest hip hop release of the year so far. Riding the momentum of his latest album, Scott also announced tour dates for North American shows. Produced by Iconoclast and EDGLRD, Aggro Dr1ft is an experimental action movie filmed entirely with infrared photography, providing a unique aesthetic, per the Toronto International Film Festival. The 80-minute long movie “orbits around a melancholic assassin named BO as he prepares to vanquish a demonic crime lord in a Floridian realm of vivid pinks, blazing yellows, and deep purples,” according to the Toronto Film Festival. Aggro Dr1ft takes place in Miami and “aesthetically recalls the perverse spheres of crime-ridden video games like Grand Theft Auto.”

The Canadian film festival asserts that the movie’s plot is very minimal, emphasizing its unique visual stylings. An experimental endeavor, Korine stated at the Locarno Film Festival that he has “never made anything like it” before. Travis Scott’s role in the film is described as “a literal snaked-tongued militia leader.”

In addition to Travis Scott’s appearance, Spanish actor and filmmaker Jordi Mollà will star as BO. The film’s description states that Mollà’s role is “haunted by the spectre of an enormous computer-generated demon,” giving viewers an idea of what to expect.

Another exciting detail about Aggro Dr1ft is that Araabmuzik, the hip-hop and electronic producer known for his MPC skills and collaborations with The Diplomats, A$AP Rocky, and Cardi B, will score the soundtrack. The film’s music will reportedly lean more towards the Rhode Island producer’s electronic side.

Amber Heard Makes 1st Public Appearance Since Johnny Depp Trial

Amber Heard made her first public appearance since losing her defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp on Friday. The actress attended Taormina Film Festival in Italy, a day prior to the premiere of her new film, In the Fire. She rocked a white T-shirt and matching wrap-around skirt for the event. There, she signed fans’ autographs and mingled with other attendees.

Heard also joined her co-star Eduardo Noriego and the director of In the Fire, Conor Allyn, on the red carpet, Saturday night. Ahead of its premiere, Heard spoke about the project with PEOPLE.

“It’s a beautiful movie about the almost supernatural effect and force of love,” she told the outlet. “It is about the boundaries that love can cross and its creation, and really about the overwhelming power that love has. I don’t want to sound cheesy about it, but it’s a movie about love.”

According to a press release obtained by PEOPLE, Heard will play a “pioneering psychiatrist who sets out to treat a desperate child at a time when psychiatry is not yet a respected science. While the woman tries to psychoanalyze the child, the nefarious events intensify and her ‘cure’ becomes a race to save the little boy from the fury of his fellow citizens, and perhaps, even from himself.” In addition to In the Fire, Heard is also expected to be making an appearance in the upcoming film, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The movie hits theaters in December.

The appearance comes over a year after Depp successfully argued in court that Heard defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about sexual violence. In the end, Heard was ordered to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages. However, the jury also awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages for her countersuit against Depp.

Lori Harvey & Teyana Taylor Looked Stunning At Cannes Film Festival

Lori Harvey and Teyana Taylor had everyone’s mouths agape at the Cannes Film Festival’s amfAR gala. Not only did they show off their toned bodies, but their beautiful dresses just goes to show how much style they can muster for each event. On one hand, the Harlem artist wore a sleek black dress that left her mid-riff exposed. Harvey went for a similar approach, leaving her abs visible while rocking a tighter and more vibrant red piece. For those unaware, the gala raised funds for research and awareness projects concerning HIV and AIDS. Other stars in attendance were Queen Latifah, her partner Eboni Nichols, Odell Beckham Jr., Leonardo DiCaprio, Devin Booker, Heidi Klum, and many more.

Both stars have been on quite the hot streak lately, with Teyana Taylor recently starring in the remake of White Men Can’t Jump. “I think we all came to the conclusion that we were going to leave the very big shoes in a glass case, and leave it beautiful,” she told VIBE. “Understanding that it’s not broke so we shouldn’t be trying to fix it, not taking those big shoes out the case to fill them. I think what we did was customize our own pair of shoes and made it our own and we sampled a classic.

“We then added our own melodies, and our own tones, and instruments, and different things like that,” the 32-year-old continued. “We call it a remix, we remixed and sampled a classic record, and we created our very own beautiful record. It was a love letter to the original classic.” Meanwhile, Lori Harvey has been making fans fall in love with her social media even more thanks to her adorable relationship with Damson Idris. Back in February, the actor spoke a little bit on enjoying his time with the star model.

“I think my advice to anyone who walks down that path is to just keep it as regular and normal as possible,” Idris remarked of their high-profile status. “Really, really connect to each other and not the outside forces around. Just understanding that you don’t always have to show the world your personal life and that what you do for a living is an extension of yourself, and that’s your baby. And you need to protect that. You also need to protect your personal self too. And, of course, it’s the topic of gossip, and the blogs want to talk about that over the work. I see that a lot. But they’ll get over it soon enough. And in a couple days, someone else will be dating, and then they’ll leave me alone.” Regardless, for more on Lori Harvey and Teyana Taylor, return to HNHH.
