50 Cent Reveals Why Feud With Rick Ross Will Never End

It’s no secret that 50 Cent and Rick Ross don’t get along, and according to Fif, their feud won’t be coming to an end anytime soon. He opened up about the longstanding beef during a recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast with Gillie and Wallo, explaining why it seemingly never ends. He claims it’s because Ross won’t get the kind of attention he’s looking for without mentioning him, whereas he makes headlines regardless.

“Nothing else works for him,” he began. “Outside of mentioning me. When things get bad, he mentions me, it gets covered… I get covered across the board, they get covered on the hip-hop blogs. It is what it is.”

50 Cent Claims Rick Ross Won’t Get Covered Unless He Mentions Him

50 Cent continued, suggesting that Ross may not be as wealthy as he lets on. “What kind of rich n***a cut his own grass?” he wondered. “You tryna save money, n***a?” While he appears confident in his simple explanation, Ross has other ideas. He took to DJ Akademiks comments section on Instagram to throw some more shade. “Cuban Link,” he wrote alongside a broken heart emoji. For those who don’t recall, 50 Cent and Cuban Link dated for several years before breaking up a few months ago. In July, she was spotted with Travis Scott, prompting fans to wonder if things were heating up between them. Upon hearing the news, Ross wasted no time.

He took to his Instagram Story to clown 50 Cent, announcing that he’d be setting his Louis Vuitton shoes to the side for the time being in favor of Travis Scotts. What do you think of 50 Cent claiming that his feud with Rick Ross never ends because “nothing else works” for Rozay? Do you agree with him or not? Popcaan Demands Kendrick Lamar’s Music Gets Shut Off In Viral Clip

Popcaan refused to listen to Kendrick Lamar when the rapper’s music came on during a recent interview with Link Up TV. In a clip of the moment circulating on social media, he appears to be in disbelief before demanding to know where the music is coming from. He eventually requests the song be turned off and reaffirms his allegiance to OVO.

In response to one of Drake’s fan pages posting the clip on X (formerly Twitter), fans had mixed responses. Many praised the Jamaican artist for sticking up for his OVO collaborator while others were more critical. One user wrote: “Drake stans don’t even know Popcaan is OVO, they’re on here saying things like ‘wow respect’ and ‘wow Drake has the streets’ because Drake completely erased him after taking his flow.” Another added: “N****s in the comments wanna act like they listen to Popcaan cause he signed to Drake.”

Gordo Labels DJ Mustard A “Strange Guy” With Backhanded Compliment

Gordo, who has collaborated with Drake several times over the years, trolled “Not Like Us” producer DJ Mustard on X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend. In doing so, he channeled similar comments Mustard made about Drake by labeling him a “strange guy.” Despite the remark, he began the post with some powerful praise for the 34-year-old.

“I will not tolerate any dj mustard slander…. That guy is a f*cking legend… made multiple classics.. and had one the most iconic runs ever as a producer… he’s just a strange guy,” Cordo wrote in his post. Mustard made the same remark of Drake while speaking with the Los Angeles Times, last week. “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude,” he said at the time. “He’s a strange guy.”

Despite the remark, Gordo recently argued that Drake hasn’t been phased by the result of this beef with Kendrick Lamar. Speaking with People back in July, the “Rich Baby Daddy” producer claimed that Drake was “happy as sh*t.” “Ever since all this has happened … I’ve seen him happier. It’s really weird. He’s pretty jolly,” Gordo said. “The internet makes it seem like, ‘Oh, that photo, he’s all sad and sh*t.’ That’s just a bad photo from a bad camera. But because it’s him, it’s put under a magnifying glass like, ‘Oh, look at his eyes. He’s looking a little droopy. He hasn’t slept.’ But the guy’s been happy as sh*t, to be honest. He’s chilling.”

Steve Harvey Finally Fires Back At Katt Williams With Strong Message

Steve Harvey has finally fired back at Katt Williams for the bombshell criticism he leveled at him during an appearance on Club Shay-Shay with Shannon Sharpe, earlier this year. He addressed his fellow comedian while speaking at Invest Fest in Atlanta, over the weekend. In doing so, he offered to turn their rivalry physical.

“You’ll never have a hater that’s doing better than you. Always know that,” Harvey remarked to Stephen A Smith while discussing Williams. He then joked about his fighting skills before adding: “I’d knock your short ass out.” When The Neighborhood Talk posted the clip on Instagram, fans mainly took Williams’ side in the comments section.

“He definitely feels a way. The cursing and name calling shows it. Kat never called that man out his name but he did speak truth. Truth always gets a certain type of reaction, and this is one of them,” one user wrote. Another added: “Steve you are not winning this one man… The people love Katt and Katt did not tell a lie…”

Steve Harvey Addresses Katt Williams

As for Williams’ fiery criticism, he accused Harvey of stealing his jokes from other comedians. “The same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had,” Williams said. “Now Steve got a sitcom where he the principal, and he wear a suit. And then he gets this high-top fade, making all Black men think he got the best lineup in the business. And it’s a man unit. Then you ask him, ‘Why you not a movie star?’ ‘I didn’t want to be a movie star.’ This the same negro that hated on Bernie [Mac] with this same thing. You couldn’t be a movie star. There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. Not one of them asked for a country bumpkin Black dude that can’t talk good…and look like Mr. Potato Head. There ain’t none. You have to have range.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Steve Harvey and Katt Williams on HotNewHipHop.

Drake And The Weeknd Appear To Hate Eachother In Resurfaced “100 Gigs” Clip

Drake has shared a video of himself and The Weeknd backstage during OVO Fest in 2013 in which the two appear to not be on the best of terms. The clip starts with Drake dapping up everyone in the room except for The Weeknd and joking with them about his performance at the festival. Right before it ends, he finally acknowledges The Weeknd’s presence.

Fans on social media say it shows that the two haven’t been on good terms for years. “You can tell Abel does not fw him lol,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote in response. Another noted: “Drake a slimey guy. Peep how he cut the footage immediately he acknowledged the weekend and was about to dap him up.” Others reflected on how much they’ve grown over the last decade. “The Weeknd was on the rise back then, and you could just tell he was going to be huge. Seeing this footage now is a reminder of how far he’s come. OVO Fest 2013 was iconic,” one fan added.

Drake’s “100 Gigs” Release Sparks Viral Fan Theory About His Next Move In Kendrick Lamar Feud

Drake fans think the Toronto rapper is going to share footage of himself baiting Kendrick Lamar with fake info in their ongoing feud as part of his next “100 Gigs” release. The theory began when one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “I low key feel like this 100 gigs drops are eventually gonna lead to footage of Drake feeding Kendrick the fake info.” Akademiks TV ended up sharing the post on Instagram shortly afterward. That move sparked debate from fans in the comments section.

“That’s not a flex tho. He was better off acting like he didn’t know where Kendrick got the info,” one top commenter wrote. Another user added: “That was recent though… they could literally reenact it now and put it out like it was 2 months ago lol.” One more suggested it wouldn’t even change the outcome of the battle. “But my guy lost tho. So it doesn’t matter tbh cause the false info sh*t didn’t lead to drizzy winning,” they wrote.

The theory comes after Drake shared footage of Kanye West speaking at OVO Fest in 2013 with his latest update to the website. “As I stand in this city right now, I just want y’all to understand that it’s been a lot of rappers that came in the game that wasn’t able to do something like this for their city,” West said on stage at the event. “We wouldn’t be able to make the music that we make. Me and Hov would’ve never made Watch The Throne if this n***a wasn’t putting pressure on us like that.” Drake and West have famously had an up-and-down relationship of their own.

Fans Think Drake Has A Plan For Kendrick Lamar

West actually gave Drake a shoutout during his performance in South Korea, last week, while dedicating his song, “I Wonder,” to him. Be on the lookout for further updates on Drake and Kendrick Lamar on HotNewHipHop.

While performing on stage, she shouted out, “Who ain’t write it… who ain’t write it,” several times over as the song played.

As the clip circulated on social media, fans had mixed responses to the feud. She was noticeably absent from the group’s recent performance at Broccoli City Festival. “I wrote every f*cking verse you’ve done,” Yachty claimed in his rant, “I dressed you, I dressed all five of y’all n****s bro. I dressed five n****s every time we stepped out the house, I put an outfit on everybody, I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear, I put three chains on all y’all neck. Jason Lee Trashes BIA For “Horrible” Cardi B Diss Track

Jason Lee says that the diss track BIA released for Cardi B was “horrible” and explained his opinion on her music during an interview with VladTV. BIA dropped the track, “SUE MEEE?,” back in June after Cardi seemingly threw shade at her on the “Wanna Be (Remix)” with Megan Thee Stallion and Glorilla. At first, Lee thought there wasn’t any serious drama between them.

“It was horrible,” Lee began. “First of all, BIA’s birthday, we have the same birthday. We’re both Leo’s, August 16th. Happy early birthday BIA. BIA thought I hated her for so long because my staff would write about her sneak-dissing Cardi and she would say, ‘You’re tryna create all these problems between me and Cardi,’ and I used to get on my staff like, ‘Hey, please don’t create unnecessary beef between these girls if there’s no beef there.’ And, they were like, ‘No, but she’s sneak dissing her.’ And, I’m like, ‘Well, she’s saying she’s not.’ This was going on and on and on and then, Cardi felt the way she felt and I would say, ‘Oh, I talked to BIA. She’s not sneak-dissing you.’ And then all that happened.”

He continued: “It was like, you started a beef with somebody who is 10 tiers above your career for no reason other than to pander to Nicki Minaj probably. And, it backfired on you because that was a horrible horrible thing. It wasn’t like when Remy went after Nicki and ‘Shether’ literally ended that beef or Kendrick that just laid Drake to sleep in one song. This was a poor attempt to get what? To get a moment that fizzled away and now, nobody’s talking about you. And I think that BIA’s talented. She’s beautiful. She has a lot of personality. She’s a Leo like me. She had a lot of potential– she probably still does at some point, but that kinda was like, ridiculous.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Lee reflected on working with Kanye West and the staff that surrounds him. Check out his full comments on BIA below. Be on the lookout for further updates on Jason Lee as well as Cardi B and BIA on HotNewHipHop.

Dame Dash Trolls JAY-Z Over His “Deep” Pockets Amid Roc-A-Fella Records Drama

Dame Dash went after JAY-Z during a rant on his Instagram page on Tuesday, after his Roc-A-Fella co-founder filed a notice that the rights to his 1996 album Reasonable Doubt will switch from the company to his possession in 2031. Dame has been attempting to sell his stake in Roc-A-Fella shares to cover a judgment regarding copyright infringement and defamation owed to movie producer Josh Weber.

“I don’t expect anyone, just some average person, to come buy it — or a third of it, my third. I don’t wanna get sued again,” he said. “I know, for some reason, nobody wants me to sell it, but I’m ready to just move on, do my thing. I had a lawsuit, I had a judgement, and I’m like, ‘Yo, that’s 800 grand. Go get it from over there. They not paying me neither!’ So, they went and did the work for me [to] paid that debt and I’ll be able to sell it. It all worked out for me. I’m sure there’s a little twist they put on things. I don’t know why. I do know why, but I don’t know why. I don’t know why about one thing, but I do know why about the other.”

LL Cool J Says Kendrick Lamar’s Beef Tactics Against Drake Were “The Funniest Sh*t In The World”

LL Cool J heaped praise on Kendrick Lamar for his tactics against Drake in their ongoing feud. Speaking about the beef during an interview with Ray Daniels Media, he labeled Lamar’s cover art for “Not Like Us” the “funniest sh*t in the world.”

“This sh*t is crazy,” he remarked. “This ain’t got nothing to do with nothing but its the funniest sh*t in the world. It’s bananas. That kinda thinking, you have to respect that.” When DJ Akademiks shared the take on Instagram, fans had mixed responses. “Putting false claims on a man name is not funny it’s corny. LL Cool J also discussed how rap beefs have evolved over the years. “This generation, they think much more multilayered,” he argued. “The thinking is far more layered. The thinking used to be kinda like– back in the days it was like, ‘Okay, you do the song.’ That was it. Then it transitioned to, ‘You do the song and you do the video.’ Now, it transitioned to, ‘You do the song, you do the video, you have a brand, you do a book, you have the movie, you have the music. You monetize it. You have a platform.’ The layering of the thought process is completely different.” From there, he explained that there’s a lesson to be learned for established artists from the youth.
