21 Savage Believes Drake & Metro Boomin Will Resolve Their Beef

21 Savage isn’t picking sides between Drake and Metro Boomin’s ongoing beef and instead says they’re both his brothers. When fans began asking him about the feud on Instagram Live, he suggested he thinks they’ll be back on good terms eventually. “Don’t keep coming on to my motherf*cking Live talking about no motherf*cking beef,” Savage said. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Those n***as going to figure that sh*t out eventually.”

Soulja Boy crossed a line in his feud with Metro Boomin on Sunday by bringing the producer’s late mother up in several posts on Twitter. He began by wishing him a happy Mother’s Day before going into a tirade against both Metro and 21 Savage. He was unhappy with a post that Metro made on Twitter years ago.

Drake’s Security Intercepts Alleged Attempted Intruder At His Toronto Home

It’s been an undoubtedly hectic week for Drake already, as fans continue to react to his explosive rap beef with Kendrick Lamar. Unfortunately, however, even more chaos was added to the mix this morning. According to TMZ, authorities were called to the performer’s Toronto residence over a man who allegedly attempted to gain access to his home.

It remains unclear who the man was, or what exactly he was planning to do at Drake’s house, but he reportedly said he was there “to see Drake.” Security intercepted him at the front gate before he made it onto the property, and held him until police arrived. Once they got there, the man was apprehended under the Mental Health Act. It’s unconfirmed whether or not Drizzy was home at the time of the alleged attempted trespassing.

TMZ also reports that there’s been an increase in security around the general vicinity of Drake’s home in recent days. This is likely due to a shooting that took place in his Bridle Path neighborhood earlier this week. Reportedly, the shooting left one man, a security guard for Drake, seriously injured. The guard later underwent surgery for his multiple bullet wounds. Witnesses allegedly described the incident as a “drive-by shooting,” per the Toronto Sun. It’s unconfirmed whether or not he was home during the incident.

While it looks like Drake has dealt with a great deal of drama on the homestead as of late, he fortunately was not injured in either of the incidents. What do you think of a man attempting to gain access to Drake’s Toronto home? Are you surprised? What about security in his Bridle Path neighborhood ramping up in recent days? Questlove Says “Hip-Hop Is Truly Dead” Amid Kendrick Lamar & Drake’s Feud

Questlove says no one is winning in the war between Kendrick Lamar and Drake and that the antics from the battle show that hip-hop is “dead.” He shared his take on the beef in a post on Instagram, on Tuesday, following a dramatic weekend that included both artists dropping several diss tracks aimed at one another.

“Nobody won the war,” he wrote. “This wasn’t about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary — women & children (& actual facts) be damned. Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip Hop truly is dead.” In the caption of the post, he added: “Here We Are Now…Entertain us?”

Cole for mentioning him on “First Person Shooter.” In the time since, Lamar and Drake have dropped several diss tracks aimed at one another. Last weekend, the drama peaked when the two dropped “Family Matters” and “Meet The Grahams” on the same night. Through the rest of the weekend, Lamar dropped “Not Like This,” which Drake followed up with “The Heart Part 6.” On the songs, both made vile accusations about one another. The drama has remained quiet in the days since as fans have been arguing over the winner.

Kid Cudi Clarifies Whether He Meant To Diss Drake With Songwriting Comments

Kid Cudi says he wasn’t trying to diss Drake by discussing how he writes all of his own songs on Twitter. With seemingly the whole hip-hop game going after the Toronto rapper, fans thought Cudi was throwing a shot by bragging about not using ghostwriters.

“No one writes my lyrics EVER,” Cudi responded to a fan theorizing that Lil Yachty wrote his song, “Superboy.” “Every song U have ever heard from me, I wrote. The credits on songs can be confusing when u see all those names, and its usually producers of the song or sample… Its a really powerful feeling knowing I wrote the lyrics on all 12 of my albums.” When one fan remarked that he must be taking a shot at Drake, Cudi responded: “Man me speakin my truth is not me dissing anyone. Its my truth. Its a fact. This came up cuz someone was talkin like yachty wrote my verse on superboy. Just wanted to address it and make it 100% clear.”

Cudi previously discussed his relationship with Drake back in 2022. At the time, the Toronto rapper had just made amends with Ye, something he couldn’t see himself doing with his former collaborator. Meaning he might be a lil nicer than me in that situation w dude. Thats all. Maybe that came off wrong thru my words. So yea, all good w Drake.”
