Rapper Behind AI Rapper FN Meka Says Label Never Paid Him

The man who voiced the AI rapper FN Meka says the creators “ghosted” him and never paid him a dime.

Rapper Kyle The Hooligan posted a video on his Instagram explaining that he was the voice behind the controversial non-human rapper.

Kyle took to Instagram and said he collaborated with record label execs Anthony Martini and Brandon Le, the creators of FN Meka.

Kyle said he agreed to lend his voice to the FN Meka project with the expectation that riches would follow after Martini and Le signed a lucrative recording contract for FN Meka.

Capitol Records announced an unprecedented recording deal with the AI robot, but Kyle said he was never invited to the table.

“I know y’all done heard about this FN Meka stuff. People been DMing me,” Kyle said.

“I been trying to keep it quiet because I was gonna really wait ’til this shit blew up for real and went after them. Basically, it’s like, they came to me with this AI shit and was like, ‘Would I like to be the voice of it?’ I thought it was gonna be some collaboration. They promised me equity in the company, percentages, all this stuff. So I’m thinking, OK, this about to be some collab, something different for me, so where I can do my music and be on some AI stuff with this FN Meka character.”

After fierce backlash on social media, Capitol Records dropped FN Meka from the label and apologized to the Back community.

That’s when Kyle came forward claiming to be the voice behind FN Meka.

“Next thing I know, niggas just ghosted me. Used my voice, used my sound, used the culture and just literally just left me high and dry. I ain’t get a dime off of nothing. And they got record deals, all this stuff. I wasn’t involved with no meetings or none of that, which is f*cked up. So, honestly, I’m glad they ass got canceled. That’s karma for they ass.”

Martini and Le are sticking to their claims that FN Meka was modeled after disgraced rapper Tekashi69, a controversial white Hispanic rapper.

Comedian David A. Arnold Passes Away At 54-Years Old

David A. Arnold, a comedian, actor, writer and producer who headlined two Netflix comedy specials and was a writer/producer on the Fuller House reboot, passed Sept. 7 at just 54 years of age.

The Arnold family issued a statement confirming the death. “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold. David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time, as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”

Arnold started out as a stand-up comic, performing at the Montreal Comedy Festival and on Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza on Comedy Central, among other projects.

He wrote for several comedy series, including Meet The Browns (TBS), The Rickey Smiley Show (TV One), Raising Whitley (OWN) and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (TBS). He also created and was executive producer and showrunner on Nickelodeon’s hit series That Girl Lay Lay, making him one of few Black showrunners in Hollywood.

Arnold’s first stand-up comedy special on Netflix, David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina, debuted in 2019. His followup comedy special on the streamer, It Ain’t For The Weak, premiered July 19.

At the time of his sudden death, Arnold was three stops into a four-month national comedy tour.

Survivors include his wife, Julie L. Harkness, and two children, Anna-Grace and Ashlyn.

Iman Shumpert Opens Up On ‘This Car Ain’t Stolen’

While his infamous family has been in the spotlight, Iman Shumpert, has been preparing for the release of his anticipated first studio album “This Car Ain’t Stolen”. Initially set to release the summer of 2020, #TCAS has been magic in the making. Known for reciting the phrase “We Own It”, Iman. doesn’t only take pride in the album, it’s the first project to drop on his own record label, “A Sinners Peace Records”.

The sixteen-track album is a story Iman has been ready to tell for quite some time. The album is produced by “Hey Samyr” who worked with artists like Rick Ross, Jada Kiss and DeRay Davis.

“Iman. is very versatile and has a record for everyone. Be prepared to hear different sides of him throughout his album. He is very lyrical and his bars always include a double entendre.”- Hey Samyr.

His summer single off the album, “Drop Ya Glasses” is a remix to Eve’s familiar “Blow Your Mind” track w/ Gwen Stefani and is a smooth addition to the track list. “Should Be Dead”, is a personal track that explains a story close to his heart, reminiscing on a near death experience filled with dope lyrics and a hype flow. Another hitter is “Prada”, an ode to celebration of self and fly fashion.

“This Car Ain’t Stolen” is about OWNERSHIP. Owning your art, Owning your voice, Ownership. No matter the age nor the type of vehicle, being classified “Black” we are constantly reminded that we as a race are seen as unworthy and a danger to those around us. For a long time I struggled with the science of how normalized that was and how I became desensitized to seeing it. My older self sees this all as a game, a game we plan to win. They literally put the most dangerous one behind the controller and now I got control. When people listen to this, I want them to understand this is not the basketball version of my mother’s son. Two Children Shot At School Bus Stop In Miami By Teen Robbing Them For Their Phones

According to several reports, two 12-year-old boys were shot by a teenager who was trying to rob the young school children of their cell phones.

As the two 12-year-old boys waited for the school bus in Miami-Dade County, Florida shortly before 8am, a 16-year-old boy with a gun approached the tw oboys and demanded their cell phones. When the boys refused to give up their phones, the teen gunman immediately opened fire, striking both of the boys with bullets before fleeing the scene.

The preteens were treated by the members of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and were transported to a local hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

The shooter was eventually apprehended and found with two handguns in his possession.

‘The Chi’ Actor Barton Fitzpatrick Robbed At Gunpoint In Chicago

According to a confirmed report from FOX 32 Chicago, actor Barton Fitzpatrick, who plays “Reg” on Showtime series The Chi, was robbed at gunpoint in his hometown.

The 25-year-old actor was accosted when an armed assailant jumped in the backseat of the car he was riding in as a passenger on Sunday, taking all of Fitzpatrick’s valuables, including a chain. The robber foiled in his original carjacking plan, but still made off with the actor’s personal belongings.

The actor was not injured and no suspects have been arrested for the crime.

Fitzpatrick appeared in 16 episodes of The Chi, playing a gang leader until the character was killed off in Season 2. It is highly rumored that Fitzpatrick’s character was killed off because of his unwillingness to have his character in a relationship with a transgender.

President Biden honored the pair by saying, “Welcome home.” He said Obama’s tenure was marked by integrity, decency, moral courage and doing what’s right. Biden looked at Michelle Obama and noted, “He couldn’t have done it without you.” Calling the former FLOTUS, “one of the most consequential First Ladies.”

The former President praised Biden as a true partner and a good friend. He also thanked members of his former staff, calling them talented, selfless and idealistic.

First Lady Michelle Obama talked about raising two daughters in the White House for eight years and called it a special place.

Michelle also made comments that insiders believe were directed at the Trump administration. “The people make their voices heard with their vote,” and “we hold an inauguration to ensure a peaceful transition of power.” She added, “once our time is up, we move on.”

Quando Rondo Cuts Ties With Rollin 60s Crips Following Lul Pab’s Death

Savannah, GA native Quando Rondo is putting down his blue flag and disavowing his allegiance to the Rollin 60s Crips after his friend Lul Pab was murdered in a shooting last month in which he was the intended target.

Rondo admitted that the gang life brought too much chaos in his life and wanted to just focus on himself and his family.

“It’s time for me to spend time to myself and free myself from a lot of people,” he wrote on his IG story. “My Main Manz Gone & a lot more shit I’m cool on alot of shit if I feel like you not with me it’s no reason for me To be holding on to you no need to shake your hand or fake some with you ! I’m Living Life How I wanna live life whatever I wanna do ima do it you gone either gone get with it or get lost.”

He continued to discuss his departure from gang life, saying that he’s not getting jumped out because his set never had any real loyalty to him.

“I’m my own man I layed my flag down I’m not NH yall ain’t gone ride for a n-gga foreal it’s no sense being apart of yall shit y’all fw the opposition,” he wrote. “Idgaf who feel hit Fucc u and if you can’t feel where I’m coming from on this you a bitch ass n-gga cuz it don’t take rocket science to c what the fuck going on errbody all ready hate me.”

Rondo continued, “I ain’t tripping on the extra hate I’m bout to focus on my family the ones who gone really drop a tear if I die !!!!!”

Rondo then addressed those who didn’t agree with his controversial decision, saying that the people trying to judge his decisions aren’t even on his level.

“Before you go to talking about another n-gga sit bacc and think like I don’t even got 200 bandz cuz you need way more than that to stand with me! Y’all n-ggas still think 20k is up. I can careless what somebody think get in my way and ima knocc you down simple NO CAP.”

Quando’s decision comes after being blamed in the the shooting death of King Von almost two years ago and most recently, watching his friend 23-year-old Lul Pab die in a drive by in Los Angeles in which it is believed he was the target of the assassins.
