It has been reported that 2004 Number 1 overall Draft Pick in the MLB Matt Bush was arrested in Arlington, Texas this past weekend on charges of driving while intoxicated as well as evading and causing an accident that resulted in bodily injury.

Arlington Police reported that officers initially attempted to pull over Bush after he was spotted “driving erratically” in his Lincoln Aviator on Friday evening. Police claim Bush managed to evade them by speeding away. Shortly after, Bush ran a red light at a nearby intersection, causing a multi-car accident. Even then, the 38-year-old former baseball star tried to run away from the scene on foot, but a group of Good Samaritans pinned him down until police could detain him.

After refusing to conduct a sobriety test, Bush was arrested and charged with one count of DWI, one count of accident involving injury and one count of evading.

Bush was drafted No. 1 overall by the San Diego Padres in 2004, but was plagued by numerous off-the-field issues before his professional career even began. In March 2012, while playing in the minor leagues, Bush was arrested after running over a motorcyclist’s head with his SUV and was sentenced to 51 months in prison.

When Bush finally made his MLB debut with the Texas Rangers in 2016, he appeared in a total of 217 games with the Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers, who traded for Bush in August 2022. Bush made 12 appearances for the Brewers during the 2023 season, posting a less than mediocre 9.58 ERA, ultimately being released by the team in July 2023.

Upcoming Documentary ‘Public Enemies: Kendrick Vs Drake’ Will Peel Layers From Rap’s Biggest Beef

Screen Shot 2024 10 08 at 1.34.38 PM

The biggest rap rivalry in recent memory is set to receive the full documentary treatment in a new project from Channel 4.

As reported by Deadline Hollywood, Channel 4 will release Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake, a documentary produced by Acme Films and GroupM Motion Entertainment, which will explore the rise of both megastar rappers as well as their recent beef. The film will use “archival footage and interviews with those who’ve known and worked with the rappers” to document their individual journeys to stardom and the reasons why both Kendrick and Drake have become defining figures in modern Hip-Hop.

In what’s likely to chronicle their meteoric success, the documentary will take a deep dive into their highly publicized feud that crossed personal and cultural lines.

ICYMI, the brutal clash on wax included notable diss tracks such as Kendrick’s former Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Not Like Us,” the fierce “Family Matters,” and Drake’s response in “The Heart Part 6,” which many interpreted as a concession.

Now get this, Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake is positioned as more than just a biography of two of Hip-Hop’s most influential voices. Shaminder Nahal, Head of Specialist Factual at Channel 4, described the documentary as “a cultural exploration of two of the most influential voices in modern music.” Nahal added, “This documentary will delve into the unique journeys of Kendrick and Drake, examining how their backgrounds, talents, and visions have made them global icons.”

Here’s what Jaimie D’Cruz, Creative Director at Acme Films, explained: “It’s only a few years since our previous Public Enemies film for Channel 4 explored the rivalry between Jay Z and Kanye West, but Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake feels like a story that takes place in a time when all the rules have changed, and beef is all around us.”

Since the feud concluded, or at least we think since there’s no round two’s from Kendrick’s standpoint, he has continued to achieve significant milestones. In addition to “Not Like Us” reaching No. 1 on the charts, he headlined a Juneteenth Pop Out concert at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and was named the performer for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show. In a promotional trailer for the event, Kendrick notably declared, “There’s no round twos,” a statement many believe was aimed at closing the chapter on his beef with Drake, despite rumors of a potential continuation.

We’re excited for this one as Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake is poised to offer an in-depth look at one of Hip-Hop’s most iconic rivalries, while also examining the cultural impact of both artists.

Here’s How Many Accusers Called New Diddy Hotline Recently

Screen Shot 2024 10 08 at 1.24.22 PM

As new shocking details emerge in the sprawling legal cases against Sean “Diddy” Combs, attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents 120 individuals with allegations against the music mogul, has shared significant updates regarding the hotline established for potential victims. The hotline was created to assist those who have experienced alleged harm, and the volume of responses has been overwhelming.

The breakdown came about in an interview with Law & Crime Network, Buzbee described the surge of calls following his announcement of the case. “When I made an announcement that I was going to pursue these cases, the floodgates really opened,” Buzbee shared on Wednesday (Oct. 2). “In about a 10-day period, we received approximately 3,200 calls. After our press conference on October 1, that number grew to 12,000.”

Get this, these calls came after Buzbee disclosed that he would represent 120 individuals, both men and women, who have brought forth allegations against Combs. One of the most troubling claims involves a young boy, who, according to the allegations, was invited to New York City to audition for a record deal. Buzbee explained, “Other young individuals were present for the same purpose. All of them were minors. The allegations suggest that this individual [the young boy] was harmed by Sean Combs and others present at the studio under the false promise of a potential record deal.”

Buzbee, is no stranger to this world. He has extensive experience in handling cases of this nature, notably represented multiple women who brought claims of misconduct against NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson. As a result of those allegations, Watson faced suspension for 11 games during the 2022-2023 season and was fined $5 million.

What’s more, new concerns have surfaced about the involvement of other prominent figures. One of the attorneys working on this case, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, disclosed that footage featuring a high-profile individual may have been recorded without their knowledge.

“There have already been tapes circulating in Hollywood,” Mitchell-Kidd said during an interview on NewsNation’s Banfield. “One person contacted me in possession of such a video, attempting to shop it around. They reached out to see if the individual in the video wanted to buy it before it became public knowledge.”

SOURCE SPORTS: Mets and Phillies Split First Two Games In NLDS, Game 3 In Citi Field

After a roller coaster of comeback wins against the Milwaukee Brewers last week, the New York Mets took Game 1 against the Phillies 6-2, but the Phils squeaked by the Mets 7-6 in Game 2, which brings the series to Citi Field today(October 8) for the tie breaker and who will take the lead in the NLDS.

Game 1 was one of the most exciting games of the 2024 MLB postseason, with the Mets scoring five of their six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to win the opening of the series in Citizens Bank Park on Saturday. Even with Kyle Schwarber’s leadoff homer in the bottom of the first, leading the Phillies’ momentum, still didn’t keep the Amazins’ bats from cracking in the top of the eighth inning. The moment that Zack Wheeler left the mound, who kept New York to just one run throughout seven innings, the Mets took full advantage, driving in five runs on five hits. With Game 1 being the fourth comeback win for the Mets in the past week and a chance to bring the series back to Citi Field, it’s almost as if the Mets’ pennant position is destined.

The second of the two games put the NL East Division-leading Phillies in a comparable situation, knowing that they had to go back to New York for at minimum two more games against the Mets and their rivalrous crowd. Nick Castellanos could’ve possibly saved the postseason for Philly, hitting a walk-off single to left field to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning in the Phils’ 7-6 win over the Mets in Game 2.

Castellanos ran to first base, dropped his helmet then ran back to home plate, where he met his son Liam.

“Lets Go!”, the father/son duo yelled to each other. “The best,” Castellanos said in his post-game interview with MLB.com. “Because when I’m old, and no one cares about me as a baseball player anymore, we’re going to be at home and be able to remember and look back at that.”

This NDLS Mets vs. Phillies series is so evenly matched, that down to today’s upcoming game, the Phillies and Mets record against each other in their past 100 outings, going back to August 2018, the record is split 50-50. Even in their past 1,000 games, dating back to July 1966 when the Mets franchise was just a few years old, the record is still in splitsville, 500-500. This rivalry leads up to the anticipation of Game 3, which will the give the winner the lead in this series and ultimately, bragging rights in their beef on the diamond.

Swizz Beatz Sued For $7.3M Allegedly Gifted To Him By International Fugitive

swizz beatz

Several reports have confirmed that super producer Swizz Beatz is being accused of receiving embezzled money from a “notorious international fugitive” in a lawsuit filed last week.

The suit claims that the Ruff Ryders in-house producer received the funds from Jho Low and Eric Tan between September 2012 and September 2014. Low and Tan were both involved in the same 1Malaysia Development Berhad corruption scandal that got Pras convicted of crimes in federal court earlier this year.

“As the 1MDB Fraud was underway, Jho Low became a well-known figure in the Hollywood scene and developed a reputation as a businessman with deep pockets and a penchant for hosting lavish, star-studded parties and group vacations,” the lawsuit states. “Throughout the early 2010s, Low befriended many U.S. celebrities including Dean and his wife Alicia Keys.”

The plaintiffs are unsure if Swizz knew that the funds were embezzled, however, they are still valiant in recovering the stolen money.

[WATCH] Dame Dash Suggests That Diddy Spiked Ciroc Bottles Sold To The Public

Screenshot 2024 10 08 at 9.29.38 AM

Former Roc-A-Fella Records CEO Dame Dash made a really brash claim regarding the legal troubles of Diddy, suggesting that the music mogul spiked wholesale quantities of his Ciroc Vodka. Dash even goes as far as to say that male Hip Hop artists may have unwillingly turned “gay” after unknowingly consuming the spiked liquor.

In an interview on his America Nu Network, Dash said, “What’s crazy to me is if his hustle is putting stuff in people’s drinks, he made a liquor. I mean, that’s the illest shit in the world that everyone was partying and you don’t know what was in that drink.” Trying to bring his claims to context, Dash asked, “If he was — pause — undercover gay, ’cause I didn’t know it, and obviously if he was knocking men out and they were waking up violated, he’s making somebody gay that doesn’t wanna be gay. So I’m like, ‘What was in them drinks?’

Dash also suggests that during this time period of Ciroc’s apex of popularity, Hip Hop’s male figures became feminine. “And then I’m starting to think, ‘Damn, when did Hip Hop start to lose its masculinity?’ No disrespect to nobody, but tough n-ggas started wearing dresses and pocketbooks. I’m just thinking it through — maybe that could be the reason why Hip Hop took a turn for the feminine.” Adding a little humor to his serious allegation, Dash asked, “If homie was really putting shit in people’s drinks and he’s making the liquor… I’m not even saying it to be funny, but they saying he was putting shit in muthafuckas’ baby oil so how could you trust that person to serve you drinks at such a big scale?”

6ix9ine Agrees to New $6M Record Deal, But There’s a Catch

6ix9ine addresses gym attack on IG

6ix9ine addresses gym attack on IG

Somebody still believes in Tekashi 6ix9ine. The controversial and embattled rapper has signed a new record deal with Kartel Music, reportedly for over $6 million.

According to TMZ, 6ix9ine will record a new album with Mexican regional artists and tour across the United States, Mexico, and Central and South America.

The rainbow-haired rapper will earn $1 million for a 10-song album and $250,000 for each show of a tour, resulting in nearly $6 million in earnings.

But there is some fine print. In accepting the deal, 6ix9ine agrees to sidestep legal issues and digital beef while also avoiding arrest.

But just last month, Tekashi 6ix9ine decided to use his drama to generate some views, and this time, it involves his former flame, singer Yailin La Mas Viral. The troubled and now wanted Brooklyn rapper dropped “Repuesta,” a diss track, along with a video yesterday (Sept. 4) aimed at an ex-girlfriend and fellow artist, Yailin La Mas Viral and the ‘Get The Strap” rapper goes in on his former lover.

Even though all of the lyrics are in Spanish (and can understood in depth by those who speak the language), the visual for Repuesta (which means response) gives viewers 6ix9ine’s perception of the rocky relationship between the two artists. Also, Tekashi, known for his flamboyant wear and hairstyles, toned it down this time, donning a black suit while casually spitting his verses instead of his signature screaming style.

The visual includes footage of the rapper and Yailin La Mas Viral when they were still together. The duo dated throughout 2023 before ending things in August. Footage also includes 6ix9ine interacting with Yailin La Mas Viral’s son, whom she shares with Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA. The relationship publicly went sour when it was reported that 6ix9ine was arrested in the Dominican Republic on domestic violence charges back in January after Yailin’s mother made a report.
