With the Vultures show set for Chicago, Ye and Ty Dolla $ign set their sights on the New York experience. The next Vultures experience is set for UBS Arena in Belmont Park on Feb. 9, the album’s release date.

“Fans will have the rare opportunity to experience ‘Vultures, Volume 1’ in a high-fidelity audio and visual showcase, crafted by YE and Ty Dolla Sign,” UBS Arena’s website reads. “This event marks a historic moment as attendees will listen to the album together with the artists and album collaborators.”

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign booked and sold out the United Center in just seven minutes for their VULTURES release party.

After the achievement, Ye revealed that his hometown is giving him arena access.

“We just sold out the United Center in seven minutes and I just wanted to express to everybody out there to see if anybody can help with this,” West said. “It’s the only arena I had access to in the past year. And when I call, people say there’s no avails for me and you know why that is. If there’s anybody out there that can help with this, please do.”

Vultures is headed to Chicago. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have announced a listening party for the album at Chicago’s United Center. The listening party is set for a night before the official release of Volume 1 of the album.

Ye and Ty Dolla $ign has the first volume of Vultures loaded for Feb. 9. According to the NFR Podcast, the release will have features from Chris Brown, Future, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Charlie Wilson, YG and more.

Last month, Ye released the trailer for he and Ty Dolla $ign’s forthcoming music video, “Vultures,” featuring Bump J and Lil Durk.

Ye and Ty$ have also announced the release dates for all three volumes of the Vultures album: Feb. 9, March 8, and April 5.

SOURCE SPORTS: Patrick Mahomes Speaks on His Father’s DUI Arrest

Patrick Mahomes has spoken to the media in regard to the DUI arrest of his father, Patrick Mahomes Sr.

“He’s doing good. I don’t really want to get into it too much, but he’s doing good for whatever the situation is,” Mahomes said. “It’s a family matter, so I will just keep it to the family. That’s all I really have to say at this point.”

Mahomes Sr. was arrested and charged with driving under the influence over the weekend in Texas.

This was the third time Patrick Mahomes Sr. had been arrested for driving under the influence, with the second arrest resulting in a 40-day jail sentence back in 2019, but he served his sentence on the weekends.

Mahomes Sr.’s arrest came a week before his son’s team was slated to take on the San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl LVIII and a day before the team left for Las Vegas, where the NFL championship will be played.

The two attempt “to figure out the next steps” of their relationship.

Over Grammy weekend, the two were spotted pulling up to JAY-Z’s party in the Hollywood Hills.

The Hip-Hop community mourned the loss of one of the founding fathers of Hip Hop culture, Lovebug Starski, who passed away on this date four years ago at 57 years old.

Starski, whose real name is Kevin Smith, allegedly died from a heart attack in Las Vegas, but the cause of his death has never been confirmed,

Lovebug Starski is one of only two people who is said to have coined the term “Hip Hop” and, along with partners Brucie B and DJ Hollywood, was instrumental as a DJ, emcee, and producer in the instructional days of Hip Hop in the South Bronx. He was a regular DJ at Harlem World and the legendary Rooftop Roller Disco.

Founded in the late 90s by Brand Nubian member Lord Jamar, stic and M1 changed the perception of conscious rap, touching on pragmatic socio-political issues in their content without sacrificing the lyrical prowess of genuine emcees. With production exclusively by Lord Jamar and stic, Let’s Get Free gives an unprecedented viewpoint of the Black experience in modern times with a twist of revolutionary get back. Tracks like “They Schools”, “Psychology” and “Behind Enemy Lines” address the social ills of today, while songs like “Mind Sex”, “Be Healthy” and “Discipline” use pragmatic approaches in an attempt to curb common negative connotations in the hood.

The show will run through April and celebrate The Emancipation of Mimi’s album, citing a statement, “The Las Vegas shows will feature fan favorites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career.”

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, Feb. 10.

Kelly Rowland is cosigning JAY-Z’s message at the 2024 Grammys. Rowland gave her opinion while on the Red Carpet for the Bob Marley film.

“Shawn Carter is one of the greatest men I know and his words ring so loud to me,” Rowland said. “I couldn’t be more proud of him.

“I’m just really happy for a lot of things that he said. I think that he made a lot of artists feel very seen and very heard in those minutes that he took on stage.”

In a night filled with celebration and recognition, the 2024 Grammy Awards took an unexpected turn as Jay Z, while accepting the prestigious Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, used his platform to call out The Recording Academy for what he perceived as a snub towards his wife, Beyoncé. The Brooklyn mogul didn’t hold back as he addressed the audience, highlighting the discrepancy between Beyoncé’s unparalleled success and the Academy’s failure to honor her with Album of the Year accolades.

During his speech he said, “I’m just saying, we want y’all to get it right. We love y’all; we love y’all; we want you to get it right, or at least get it close to right, and obviously it’s subjective … because it’s music and it’s opinion-based, but some things — I don’t wan to embarrass this young lady” — referring to Beyoncè — “but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year, so even by your own metrics that doesn’t work. Think about that. The most Grammys and never won an album of the year. That doesn’t work.

“Some of you are going to go home tonight and feel like you’ve been robbed,” he continued. “Some of you may get robbed, some of you don’t belong in the category — when I get nervous I tell the truth.”
