Eli Manning Has Simple Response To Deion Sanders

Eli Manning had a hall of fame career in his time with the New York Giants. However, playing in New York wasn’t always a for sure thing. Well, it was for Manning and his team. The former Ole Miss star had his sights on playing in the Big Apple, even though the San Diego Chargers held the number one overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. But in the end Manning stood his ground and ended up playing his entire career in New York. A move that Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders has even mentioned to his team.

When discussing the future of his top players, Sanders mentioned that if things don’t go the way he would like, maybe his players would pull an Eli. If the situation doesn’t feel like a fit, Sanders seems sure that Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders and DB Travis Hunter could create their own future just like Manning did twenty years ago. To hear Sanders’ comments, check out the video posted below.

Eli Manning Agrees With Deion Sanders Latest Take

However, pulling this off is easier said than done. At one point, during all the talk of the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, many believed that Caleb Williams, who is the favorite to be the number one overall pick, might pull the same thing about not being a part of the Chicago Bears organization. However, those rumors have all but been squashed since the Bears traded starting quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It would take a confident player with a great support system to pull off a move like Manning. However, the potential of two players doing it in the same draft class seems nearly impossible. But, in a world where this actually works out for both guys, would that help Sanders in his recruiting efforts? Telling potential recruits that he can help them land in a perfect situation in the NFL would be a great selling point for any head coach. Eli Manning Encourages Travis Kelce To Visit Taylor Swift In Argentina

Eli Manning has encouraged Travis Kelce to visit Taylor Swift in Argentina. The singer is currently performing a trio of Eras Tour concerts in Buenos Aires. “I think for him to travel, there’s nothing wrong with traveling, going somewhere. Hey, if he wants to go and support his girlfriend and see her play a concert, I’ve got no problem with that. I think that’s the idea. [The bye week] is the time to rest the body, rest the mind a little bit, recharge yourself to get ready for that second half of the season,” Manning told PEOPLE.

Kelce did not attend the first Eras Tour show in Buenos Aires on November 9. Instead, Kelce was spotted in Kansas City, attending a gala for the foundation of his friend and quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. At the ceremony, Kelce was also honored after becoming the Chiefs’ all-time leader in receiving yards this past weekend. Swift is performing in the Argentinian capital for another two days. Next week, she heads to Brazil. Kelce is unlikely to join her there due to Chiefs games on November 20 and 26.

Kelce Refuses To Say If He’s Headed To Argentina

Furthermore, Kelce has refused to say if he plans to go to Argentina at all. “I might just say f-ck it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know. My skin’s getting real pale so I gotta go somewhere sunny,” Travis said on New Heights when asked by his brother if he had plans for the Chiefs’ bye week. When Travis added that he wanted to be “closer to the equator”, Jason shot back with “South of the equator?”

Meanwhile, a conspiracy continues to persist amongst Swifties and NFL fans that Taylor Swift is having a very real impact on Travis Kelce’s season. The Chiefs have now played nine games this season, amassing a 7-2 record. Swift has attended four games this season, half of the games Kelce has played in so far. When Swift is in the stands, Kelce has 432 yards and 2 touchdowns (108 per game). However, when Swift is absent, Kelce has just 165 yards and two short-yardage touchdowns (41.25 per game). Furthermore, the Chiefs are 4-0 with Swift attending. However, they suffered a blowout loss to the Broncos when she skipped that road game.

Lil Wayne Makes Hilarious Appearance in “ManningCast” Audition Skit

Earlier this week, the Manning Brothers dropped a hilarious skit in which they interviewed various celebrities to join them as a co-host for ESPN‘s ManningCast this football season. The Manning brothers have a fantastic, must-watch alternate commentary track for Monday Night Football for the past two seasons and are preparing to do so again for the 2023 season. However, it appears that they might be looking to follow the trend of First Take and Undisputed and add a third permanent co-host to their team.

One of the celebrities to try out for the role during the skit was legendary rapper Lil Wayne. While his cameo is very short in the actual skit, a longer version of his audition was also posted. “Weezy F. Please say the Weezy, please say the F. Please say something. I’m so ready. You’re gonna love it. I’m gonna kill it… I’m a millionaire, I’m a Young Money millionaire,” Wayne says in the extended version. He also drops a little freestyle to show off his versatility. “I’m a Louisiana boy, I’m with the Manning boys and this is the ManningCast and I got a family pass.” Wayne guested on the ManningCast last year.

Lil Wayne Continues To Break Into Sports Media

It’s unclear if the Mannings are actually looking for a third host, or if this was just a little bit of promotional material for their return to ESPN2. However, it’s the latest connection that Wayne has to sports media. Last week he made his debut as a guest analyst on Undisputed after Skip Bayless turned their friendship into a business partnership. Social media had an absolute time with it, especially after accounts like NBACentral referred to him as “NBA analyst Dwayne Carter”.

However, is the ManningCast a safer bet for Wayne’s media career? Last week, Front Office Sports reported that Undisputed had an absolutely dismal premiere week. 131,000 tuned into the season premiere of Undisputed, now anchored by Bayless, Richard Sherman, and Rachel Nichols. The following day, viewership dropped 8.4% to 120,000 viewers. Furthermore, viewership fell off a cliff on the third, falling another 35% to 78,000. A big problem for many viewers was that Bayless stepped back from the role of host to that of moderator, instead letting his newfound team do most of the debating.

Fat Joe & Eli Manning Do The “Lean Back” Dance

Fat Joe was able to get former New York Giants Super Bowl winners Shaun O’Hara and Eli Manning to do his “lean back” dance in a new video posted on Instagram. “History’s made,” Joe exclaimed after the group finished the move inside a sneaker shop.

Joe released “Lean Back” in 2004. It was featured on the tracklist to Terror Squad’s second and final album, True Story. The song peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Speaking with HipHopDX at last year’s BET Hip Hop Awards, Joe explained that he conceived of the dance while he recorded it. “The same time that I recorded it,” he said. “At the time, Jamaican music was really, really killing ’em. And I said, ‘I need something to rockaway, lean back.’ So when I made it, I made the dance for it. The same time.” He added: “We knew off rip, that thing was outta here. Every now and then you make a song that’s like, ‘Oh no, this is gone. This is outta here.’ Yeah that was it.” Check out Joe performing the dance with Manning and O’Hara below.

Joe made waves on Instagram, earlier this week as well, after advising aspiring rappers to get a part-time job. “If your man said he raps and he don’t have a deal. There’s a problem with that,” he said in a video post. “It’s called plan A, get a job. Plan B, hope you make it. This has never changed. Some guys be like, ‘I gotta get a regular job?’ Bro, you gotta get a job! If you got kids and you got this girl that got an apartment and y’all sexin’ it up every day, you got to pay some bills.”

Michael B. Jordan Teams Up With Eli Manning To Recreate Famous OBJ Catch

Eli Manning is perhaps the most legendary player in the history of the New York Giants. Although he was by no means the best quarterback in the league, he was able to win two Super Bowls. Fans of the Giants look back fondly on his time with the team, especially since he beat the Patriots in two different championship games. At this point, many are just waiting to find out if he will ever be placed into the Hall Of Fame. Some believe he doesn’t deserve it, however, there are plenty of others out there who see it in his future.

Overall, Manning is still a legend and that will not change. He is loved in New York City, and he has plenty of celebrity fans. One such person is Michael B. Jordan, who grew up as a Giants fan. According to TMZ, Manning linked up with MBJ for The Eli Manning Show, which is part of the Giants’ media offering. The two met at the Giants’ facility where Jordan got to dress up in full Giants gear. Subsequently, he got to catch passes from Manning.

Eli Manning x MBJ

In the video clip up above, you can see Manning and Jordan recreating the iconic one-handed grab by Odell Beckham Jr. This is widely regarded as one of the greatest catches in the entire history of the NFL. Consequently, you can imagine just how excited Jordan was to recreate it with an iconic quarterback. However, as you will see, Jordan had to grab it with two hands. At this point, his coordination is not up to par with the professionals. Either way, it was a cool moment for him, as well as Manning who is the man behind that infamous pass.

While the Giants have been bad as of late, they were back to winning ways this season. Overall, it was a solid year that Manning and Jordan could be proud of. Daniel Jones is playing well enough to win, and he is in for a big payday. Needless to say, bright days are ahead for the New York Giants franchise. Whether or not this is maintained, remains to be seen.

Lil Wayne Was Impressed By Former Football Star Eli Manning’s Rap Skills

Weezy F Baby and the “F” is for flatterer? Rapper Lil Wayne dropped by ESPN’s Monday Night Football (December 19) broadcast to give a play-by-play of the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers game but was nearly left speechless thanks to an on-air surprise.

Hosts former NFL players Peyton and Eli Manning broke from the game’s live stream during a break to premiere a new rap song recorded, especially with the New Orleans native in mind. The brother duo shared that Eli, the retired New York Giant quarterback, had picked up a new hobby in his free time — rapping. However, while Eli seemed excited to share his latest song with the Young Money Records boss, big brother Peyton wasn’t quite as supportive.

As the music video loads, Eli appears in the booth dressed in fashion designer Celine (now prevalent in hip-hop) from his hips up to the top of his head and a gold Cuban link chain to match his new swagged-out drip. Backed by a drill beat as gunshot ad-libs loop, Eli gives off his best 8 bars. Finally, the video ends, and Peyton anxiously awaits Lil Wayne’s feedback. At first, Lil Wayne is speechless, but as he takes it all in, he responds, “Somebody ended up sending me a full-body picture of it, and then I saw that you had on some khakis or something. That’s when I knew this must be a spoof or something.”

Later adding, “I didn’t know what was going on. I saw the Cuban around your neck. I’m glad I actually saw a video of what that was all about. But you killed it. You killed it. Yeah, you killed that.”

In typical sibling fashion, Peyton jumps in to play the contrarian proclaiming, “No, it wasn’t.”

Pleased by Wayne’s response, Eli confessed that Lil Wayne’s music inspired him. More specifically, his songs “A Milli” and “Fireman.”

“I wasn’t watching a lot of Lil Wayne, but I was listening to him,” he said. “I was listening to ‘A Milli,’ I was listening to ‘Fireman,’ I was listening to ‘Stuntin’ Like My Daddy’ — that’s my personal favorite,” said Eli.

Lil Wayne has inspired many fellow musicians, including Machine Gun Kelly, JID, and Jack Harlow, to name a few. His music has inspired a few cringe-worthy videos, including a Florida police department’s drug bust. Maybe Lil Wayne will go on to mentor Eli’s future music career as he did with Tiffany Haddish.

Lil Wayne Reviews Eli Manning’s Rap: “You Killed It”

Lil Wayne reviewed a rap song from Eli Manning during ESPN’s Manningcast broadcast for Monday Night Football. Eli rhymed over a New York Giants remix of Fivio Foreign’s “1 On 3.”

“First of all, Eli, when I saw that, I just saw a picture of that first,” Wayne explained through laughter. “When I saw the picture, I was like, ‘Wait, is this how Eli really dress in his off time for real?’

He continued: “I didn’t know what was going on. I saw the Cuban around your neck. I’m glad I actually saw a video of what that was all about. But you killed it. You killed it. Yeah, you killed that.”

From there, they continued discussing Eli’s outfit for the video: “Somebody ended up sending me a full-body picture of it and then I saw that you had on some khakis or something. That’s when I knew this must be a spoof or something.”

Eli remarked that Wayne’s classic hits “A Milli” and “Fireman” inspired his performance.

“I wasn’t watching a lot of Lil Wayne, but I was listening to him,” he said. “I was listening to ‘A Milli,’ I was listening to ‘Fireman,’ I was listening to ‘Stuntin’ Like My Daddy’ — that’s my personal favorite.”

As for the actual football, the game featured the Green Bay Packers taking on the Los Angeles Rams. Wayne’s Packers ended the night victorious, walking away with a 24-12 win over the former Super Bowl champions.

Later in the broadcast, Wayne reflected on his team’s Super Bowl XLV win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011.

Pete Davidson & Eli Manning Link Up For Joint IG Account

Pete Davidson is back on Instagram. But he’s not alone. He’s with his new friend, Eli Manning. The new page was debuted by the comedian and the former NFL quarterback on Wednesday. The duo’s first post features the two in a decked-out New York Giants bed.

Pete Davidson & Eli Manning’s First Post

“Hello, Instagram! I have decided to come back, but only with the G.O.A.T.,” Davidson announces. Next came a photo of the 29-year-old sitting in a windowsill surrounded by Giants memorabilia. The caption reads, “my biggest supporter <3 – Eli.”

The former Saturday Night Live member has been noticeably absent from Instagram since 2018. Since then, he has returned before quickly disappearing again on a couple of instances.

Davidson split with Kim Kardashian earlier this year after a nine-month fling. Although brief, it was reported that he had already gotten a couple tattoos dedicated to her and her kids. He had previously gotten some ink dedicated to the reality star that read “My Girl Is A Lawyer.”

Just a number of months later, he has been in the news yet again for his alleged newest partner. Although it’s yet to be officially confirmed, the newest rumours are that he’s now dating model Emily Ratajkowski. The pair further sparked the possibility of their romance when they were spotted courtside at a Knicks game just a couple weeks ago.

Pete’s Dating History

Ratajkowski has recently gone through a split as well. She was married to film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard from 2018 until the pair divorced this year. A constant topic of conversation throughout Davidson’s career has been his dating history. As a result of the popular women he’s been with, social media has had a field day debating how his track record is possible.

As for the unexpected duo’s new joint Instagram page, it will certainly be interesting to see if they keep up with it.
