Who Is Lilah Pi? Meet Drake’s Rumored New Girlfriend

Drake’s certified lover boy tendencies are rearing their adorable face yet again. According to the rumor mill, the “Search & Rescue” rapper has found his summertime love. The OVO Records boss is reportedly dating singer Lilah Pi. To celebrate Pi’s birthday yesterday (June 8), Drake took to his Instagram Story to share a sweet message. But who is Lilah Pi?

Before the blast of her image to his millions of online followers, Lilah Pi graced the cover of Drake’s artwork for “Search & Rescue.” Due to the nature of the song, many fans thought the musician was being petty by featuring a “Kim Kardashian impersonator” to push further the feud between him and the star’s ex-husband Kanye West. However, if the rumors are true, the Toronto native was soft launching his relationship.

Real name Delilah, the singer grow up in East London, where she discovered her love for music via her parents, telling Clash Magazine, “My dad was more indie pop like Beatles, Bowie, and that was always his vibe. My mum was always a Kanye person.”

Lilah Pi’s debut EP Atlantis was released in November 2021 via The Flight Club Records. Since then, she hasn’t released any more music.

Outside of music, Lilah does enjoy expanding her visual portfolio. Across her Instagram feed, she shares her love of painting, often uploading photographs of her completed pieces.

Similarly to Drake, Lilah Pi is also a die-hard romantic. She often posts about how her parent’s love for each and their marriage inspires her.

Are Drake And Lilah Pi Dating?

Yesterday (June 8), J Hus and Drake teamed up for “Who Told You,” a track that quickly stirred up conversation. The Her Loss rapper didn’t seem resentful anymore; on the song, he hints at a new relationship, rapping, “You’re the one, girl, stop rollin’ eyes / I find love and it slowly dies / So Lilah Pi, don’t make my eye cry.”

It doesn’t stop there. For Lilah’s birthday, Drake posted a thoughtful Instagram Story for her, writing, “More life to the gyal that’s impossible to duplicate. My inspo my confidant my best mate my heart @lilahpi happy birthday.”

Also, when Drake dropped “Search & Rescue,” fans questioned who was on the artwork. They assumed it was Kim Kardashian, but it’s now confirmed to be Lilah.

Kim Kardashian recently called out Kanye West for starting the rumor that she cheated on West with Drake. “He was the one that started a rumor that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair our whole marriage,” she said. “He accused me of that publicly. So the person that’s supposed to protect me the most publicly would accuse me of having an affair throughout our whole marriage. I really can’t wrap my head around how he is a protector.”

J Hus And Drake’s Flavorful ‘Who Told You’ Challenges The Status Quo In Favor Of Summertime Fun

At the end of last month, UK rapper J Hus made his long-awaited return with his new single “It’s Crazy.” Prior to that, it’d been three years since he released his celebrated second album Big Conspiracy. In that time span, appearances from J Hus were far and few with the most notable coming through a feature on Burna Boy’s “Cloak & Dagger.” At this point, it’s clear that J Hus is back and ready to reach a new level as he checks back in with his new single “Who Told You” alongside no other than Drake.

“Who Told You” is a fun and flavorful record that will indeed find life in the upcoming summer months. On it, J Hus looks to challenge the status quo placed on the tough guys of the world by asking, “Who told you bad man can’t dance?” Regardless of what his life on the streets may look like, J Hus makes it clear that he can have fun just like the rest of us. Drake takes on the song’s second to capture a flirtatious moment between him and a girl he wants to enjoy the night with.

Both “It’s Crazy” and “Who Told You” are set to appear on J Hus’ upcoming third album, which is rumored to be titled Don’t Say Militancy. He explained the phrase in a post on his Instagram page. “Don’t say it, do it,” he said. “Don’t say it out loud. Unless you’re gonna do something, don’t even say, ‘I’m gonna do this if you do this’… Don’t do that.” He continued, “But, if you’re gonna do it, then do it. If not, then don’t say nothing about it. That’s what it means. Don’t say it, but do it, represent it.”

You can listen to “Who Told You” in the video above.

Who Is ILoveMakonnen? All About The “Tuesday” Hitmaker

When we speak of contemporary artists who have carved their distinctive niche in the music industry, ILoveMakonnen stands tall as an archetype. Born as Makonnen Sheran in Los Angeles, California, his family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, when he was a teen. Makonnen has honed a unique sound that blends the boundaries of hip-hop, R&B, and indie music.

ILoveMakonnen shot to prominence in 2014 when Drake remixed his song “Tuesday,” which subsequently skyrocketed to the top of the charts, earning him a Grammy nomination. This collaboration not only amplified ILoveMakonnen’s profile but also solidified his reputation as a compelling artist in the modern music landscape.

A Mounting Career

After his explosive entrance into the mainstream, ILoveMakonnen made a crucial move. He signed with OVO Sound in 2014, Drake’s label, demonstrating his savvy readiness to align himself with influential music entities. However, he eventually left the label, citing creative differences. He accused the team of delaying his album.

Additionally, ILoveMakonnen has never been an artist to stay in one lane. His music constantly evolves, exploring diverse sonic landscapes and lyrical themes. He is open about his struggles with mental health, contributing to the broader conversation about these issues in the music industry. His honesty, both in his music and his public persona, has earned him a dedicated fanbase.

Noteworthy Collaborations

Outside of his solo work, ILoveMakonnen has made a name for himself through notable collaborations. He’s worked with artists ranging from Gucci Mane to Fall Out Boy, proving his versatility and ability to meld with various music styles. These collaborations not only expand his musical repertoire but also contribute to his financial success.

On the business front, ILoveMakonnen has notched an impressive array of deals and ventures. His collaborations with brands like Red Bull and Alexander Wang highlight his appeal beyond music, marking him as a cultural influencer. These partnerships add another income stream, demonstrating his understanding of the entertainment business’s multi-dimensional nature.

In 2023, ILoveMakonnen continues to make waves, maintaining a robust presence in the music scene while pursuing new business endeavors. From his self-released music on Myspace to his Grammy nomination and beyond, ILoveMakonnen’s story is a study of staying true to oneself in the face of fame.

Challenging Hip Hop Norms

But beyond his career milestones, it’s essential to recognize ILoveMakonnen as a trailblazer in terms of representation. He publicly came out as gay in 2017, a courageous step in a genre that has often struggled with homophobia. His openness about his sexuality has paved the way for greater inclusivity in the hip-hop community.

Drake & Lil Yachty’s Bromance Continues As Canadian Urges Kick To Sign His Collaborator

Drake has rapped about having “No Friends In The Industry” before. Of course, that’s obviously not true as he’s frequently linking up with his contemporaries and other famous faces. One artist who the father of one spends no shortage of time with is Lil Yachty. The “Brocolli” artist joined him earlier this year for A Moody Conversation interview that had both him and Drizzy going viral on social media for weeks to follow due to their antics.

At the time, they discussed how the Canadian sometimes feels as though he’s comparable to a woman with huge breasts. We additionally heard about his plans for retirement, which don’t seem to be coming to fruition anytime soon. Since then, the pair’s bromance has only continued to grow stronger, with their most recent link-up being broadcast for fans to see this past weekend on Kick. Drake was teaming up with online gambling company Stake to give away $1 million in prizes but unfortunately found himself fiending embarrassment when his credit card was publicly declined on a $500 transaction.

Aside from that hilarious moment, the So Far Gone hitmaker has also been meme’d for sporting both painted nails and a “state property” badge on his outfit. While it may not have been his finest hour in terms of fashion, Drake proved that he’s a great friend to Lil Boat by encouraging Kick to give him a streaming deal after seeing how many people in the comments were pleased to see the southern-born lyricist make an appearance.

While puffing on a hookah, the 36-year-old declared, “Yo, listen! I don’t know who owns Kick, but I’m just saying… You know, you guys, I know the chat wants to see Yachty go live. I’ve been telling him, I feel like he could take over Kick. There’s a little business idea for you guys, whoever’s responsible for writing the checks. You see the chat’s going crazy for my brother.” Behind him, his “Oprah’s Bank Account” collaborator is seen grinning from ear to ear over all the love. Read all about how Lil Yachty and Drake’s friendship first came to be at the link below. For more hip-hop/pop culture news updates, make sure to check back in later.

Have Half A Million Dollars? Maybe Lil Yachty Will Sell You Drake’s Half-Eaten Pizza

Lil Yachty is an extremely successful professional musician, but that doesn’t mean he’s about to stop hustling and exploiting financial opportunities when they present themselves.

Over the weekend, Yachty joined Drake for a live stream with Stake, and during the broadcast, Yachty joked that he could quickly make some pretty good money by selling a slice of pizza that Drake had taken a bit out of. Indeed, later that day, Yachty posted a photo of the partially eaten slice on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Selling this drake bit slice of pizza for 500k.”

Presumably, Yachty is just joking around here. That said, if a serious buyer actually presented Yachty with half a million dollars in exchange for the pizza, that would probably be hard to turn down.

Meanwhile, Drake recently popped up in the season finale of Dave. Throughout the season, there had been nods to Drake, and sure enough, in the finale, he and Lil Dicky finally met up. Real-life Dicky said of Drake, “Drake is like the top of the mountain top musically and as a rapper. I had met Drake and he pulled me aside and told me the show is one of the more important shows of our generation and I knew he was a fan.”
