Who Is On Drake And SZA’s Song Cover?

Halle Berry did not care about losing her blue verification check on Twitter, which has since rebranded to X. And why would she? She’s Halle Berry. If, for whatever reason, she needed reminding of her verified icon status, Drake and SZA were there for her on Wednesday night, September 13.

Drake posted a photo of Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to his Instagram alongside a caption of a wide-eyed emoji and lime green heart emoji. SZA was tagged in the photo, and she posted the same photo on her Instagram grid.

It’s believed that this means SZA is the featured artist on Drake’s next single from his upcoming For All The Dogs album, which is due out on September 22. A title nor release date has been officially confirmed by either artist, but it’s rumored that it will drop on Friday, September 15.

Drake set the stage for this while on stage for his ongoing It’s All A Blur Tour in Austin, Texas on Monday, September 11. As captured by a fan-taken video, he said, “I’m even gonna say something tonight in Austin, Texas I haven’t said yet. I know y’all are excited to hear the album. I know it’s like two weeks out. I’m gonna drop a song for y’all this week.”

Who Is Featured On Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs?’

Drake‘s new album For All The Dogs was rumored to come out last month and then it didn’t. It’s now slated for release September 22, and the anticipation is only building.

Fans want to know who’s on the album. Wednesday (September 13), the rapper teased a new single with SZA with an Instagram post. Lil Yachty spoke about working on the record. Thursday (September 14), Drake began teasing the track “IDGAF,” with features Yeat. Nicki Minaj has confirmed that she’ll be on the album, as well as Bad Bunny.

About the album, Lil Yachty explained, “It sounds current, you know? It sounds very current,” he said. “It’s interesting, it’s coming together a lot better than I thought when I — I just had a talk with him a couple days ago in Vancouver and I was like, ‘Man…’ I was a little worried, ’cause I have a lot of the songs, I don’t have all of ’em, I have a lot of ’em though. And I was just like, ‘Man, I just don’t know if it’s — how are you gon’ put this together? Because it’s a lot of great songs but they don’t really — in my brain, I was like, they didn’t really sound together. And then we had a talk about it and he explained to me his thought process about it. And we drove somewhere, we drove to that video shoot which was like an hour away, and we listened to it, and it makes sense now.”

50 Cent Finally Gets Bra Thrown At Him On Stage

It’s been a rough few weeks for 50 Cent on his “The Final Lap” tour. The veteran rapper has dealt with a series of controversies across recent shows. But there may finally be a silver lining for 50. Earlier this summer the rapper complained about how he’s treated on the tour. In a hilarious rant he shared to his Instagram he compares his treatment to Drake, who gets bras thrown at him on stage every night by fans. During a recent show, someone finally came through for 50. In a new clip making the rounds the rapper is all smiles as a bra finally flies on stage during his performance. Check out the video below.

50 Cent’s biggest controversy spawned from his frustration with technical difficulties during a show. He was upset that his microphones were repeatedly cutting out. Then he decided to release his anger by throwing the mic into the crowd. That turned out to be a bad choice as it hit a radio host in the face leading to viral pictures of her injuries and even a battery investigation into the incident. It also caused some old foes like Ja Rule and The Game to re-emerge and call 50 out for his behavior.

50 Cent Finally Getting The Drake Treatment

Shortly after the microphone incident, 50 had another controversy happen during a show. He was supposed to have Lil Wayne on as a surprise guest at one of his tour stops but it didn’t work out. Right before Wayne was set to go on stage he was reportedly shoved by one of 50’s production workers backstage. The shove clearly rubbed him the wrong way as he left.

These two incidents reportedly caused 50 Cent to fire much of the staff that had been working on technical elements of his tour. What do you think of 50 Cent finally getting a bra thrown on stage for him like Drake? Let us know in the comment section below.

Drake Surprised Fans By Announcing A SZA Collaboration As The Next Single From ‘For All The Dogs’

Drake wasn’t invited to be in SZA’s “Snooze” video — those invitations were reserved for Justin Bieber, Benny Blanco, Young Mazino, and Woody McClain — but that might be because he already had something booked with her.

On Wednesday night, September 13, Drake posted more context clues about the next single from his For All The Dogs album on Instagram. The photo is of Halle Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards with a simple caption of a wide-eyed emoji and a lime green heart emoji. However, one tap on the photo reveals that SZA is tagged. SZA also posted the photo, presumably meaning she is the featured artist on the song. It appears that this is the record that Drake previously announced would drop on September 15 as the next single from For All The Dogs.

On Monday, September 11, Drake told his It’s All A Blur Tour crowd in Austin, Texas, “I know y’all are excited to hear the album. I know it’s like two weeks out, but I’m gonna drop a song this week – just to let you know what’s up.”

Drake’s For All The Dogs is due out on September 22, as he confirmed last Wednesday (September 6) via a throwback video of his father, Dennis Graham.

Last week also saw SZA treat fans to an SOS Album Celebration concert at The Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York with the souvenir of news that she will drop a deluxe version of her perennial No. 1 SOS album sometime this fall.

Will Drake Tour After ‘For All The Dogs’ Is Released?

Drake first teased his upcoming ablum For All The Dogs in June, when Drake coyly placed QR codes in select newspapers around the release of his poetry book. As his It’s All A Blur Tour has snaked through North America, Drake continued dropping hints about the release, including the cover art drawn by his son as well as hair clips.

On September 6, Drake confirmed its September 22 release date on Instagram. Earlier this week, he announced during his tour stop in Austin, Texas that he’s “going to drop a song this week.”

Drake will celebrate the long-awaited arrival of For All The Dogs on stage, performing the first of back-to-back It’s All A Blur Tour shows at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour is scheduled to wrap with rescheduled shows in Denver, Colorado and New Orleans, Louisiana, but new dates have not been announced.

As of now, the last confirmed show is on October 9 in Columbus, Ohio, after back-to-back hometown shows at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on October 6 and 7. See all of the remaining dates here.

In other words, Drake will have plenty of opportunities to insert the album into his already-stacked setlist. The It’s All A Blur Tour is Drake’s first since 2018, so it’s anybody’s guess as to if he will embark on a new tour specifically in support of For All The Dogs.

Drake Confirmed A Release Date For The First Single From ‘For All The Dogs’

Thanks to a carefully crafted hairstyle, the scheduled drop date of Drake’s forthcoming solo album, For All The Dogs, is finally known. Although the project is slated to hit online platforms on Friday, September 22 (the same day as Doja Cat’s Scarlet), Drake let it slip that he will treat fans to a sample of what the body of work has to offer soon.

Yesterday (September 11), during his It’s All A Blur Tour stop at the Moody Center, Drake shared that supporters should expect a single in the coming days. “I’m even going to say something in Austin, Texas, that I haven’t said already. I know y’all are excited to hear the album. I know it’s like two weeks. But I’m going to drop a song this week just to let y’all know what’s up… I appreciate y’all, deeply, by the way,” he told the crowd.

So far, those closest to the Grammy Award-winning rapper who has had the opportunity to hear it ahead of its release have sung its praises.

On September 7, during a taping of his podcast, A Safe Place, Lil Yachty said, “[For All The Dogs] has the most, I would say, like the most ‘performance’ album he’ll have, as far as like energy. […] I think some of the best Drake verses that I ever heard are on this album.”

Even Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, enthusiastically declared the project “some of the best music” he’s heard from his son.

The exact date of the song’s release hasn’t been announced.
