Doja Cat Rocks A Bloody Nose In Surreal IG Photo Dump

Doja Cat’s career is illustrious enough to the point where she doesn’t have to depend on social media to get her name out there. As such, pretty much anything she does on Internet platforms seems to be for fun, yet ends up causing a lot of conversation. Moreover, the artist’s recent photo dump on Instagram sees her sporting a bloody nose, and fake or real, she does not shy away from it at all. While smiling for the camera and putting her face up, close, and personal with it, she didn’t bother to clean herself up- at least, for the first couple of pictures. Eventually, the Los Angeles native included some mirrored snaps and a lo-fi pic of her in a colorful pink crop-top and white headband.

Of course, Doja Cat often posts a lot of provocative, sultry, hilarious, or downright bizarre photographs on her Instagram and Twitter, in particular. For example, for 4th of July, she recently posted nearly nude pics with an American-flag bikini eating hot dogs and popsicles. Sure, it got people talking, but fans buzzed about the 27-year-old earlier this year for very different reasons. With the release of “Attention” in mid-June, it’s finally time for another Doja album cycle, which might be her best yet.

Doja Cat’s Bloody New Selfies

Still, it’s not like the singer, songwriter, and rapper is super keen on all the wild hype that surrounded her single’s drop. After all, some fans loved it so much that they tore down promotional posters of it on the streets for themselves- which she didn’t appreciate. “Stealing my advertisements off of the walls around the city is super f***ed up,” Doja Cat expressed on her Instagram Story. “We don’t put those up for free, so keep that in mind. You’re wack, and I don’t f**k with you if you’re doing that. Use your f***ing brain.”

Meanwhile, that energy will probably rise exponentially (and hopefully manifests in better ways) during her upcoming tour. It’ll run from October to December across North America, and she tapped Ice Spice and Doechii to accompany her. We’ll see how many people in that crowd can say that they’ve seen her with a bloody nose. Regardless, check out that tour info below and come back to HNHH for the latest on Doja Cat.

Doja Cat Has Fans Speculating On New Release With Latest Instagram Post

Doja Cat has been teasing her next album for a long time, whether seriously or jokingly. However, her latest Instagram post is the most solid confirmation fans have gotten in a while that Doja season is approaching fast. Moreover, she captioned a collection of photos with a simple clock emoji, indicating that it’s almost time for a drop. The post itself features a picture of a sleek car and two pictures of the artist in a black leather jacket amid moody lighting. Presumably, these snaps might come from an upcoming music video or promo visual of sorts. No matter the case, fans are ready for the action.

In fact, it seems like Doja Cat built up to this moment somewhat naturally over the course of the past few months. Of course, that’s due in no small part to her excellent appearance on the remix of SZA’s “Kill Bill.” After breaking out into the larger pop music world, the Los Angeles native came through with a solid rap verse amid hints that she’s returning to that style in full. Given her creative artistry and the wide range of influences she plays with, expect the unexpected from her next album.

Doja Cat Might Have Just Teased Her Next Drop On IG

Furthermore, the project is reportedly titled Hellmouth, and Doja Cat actually gave us somewhat of a release timeline recently. While addressing people hating on her latest hairstyle, she pondered quitting Twitter until her lead single drops. “Saw somebody edit hair onto my head for this look i did last night and it made me mad. So i wanted to let them know they should be making money instead,” the 27-year-old expressed on the social media platform. “Im also aware of the ramifications of the last tweet and that I’ll only be seeing edits of me with hair for the next 4 weeks so I’ll be logging off / deleting twitter till my lead comes out.”

Meanwhile, here are some more details the “Tia Tamera” MC shared online as to her next project. ““i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are,” she tweeted, “I wasnt trying to prove anything, I just enjoy making music. But I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will. Pop isnt exciting to me anymore. If you wanted a teaser into what I’ve been thinking about, that’s what I’ve been on a lot. And just to make it clear, Beastie Boys is a huge inspiration to me. Beastie Boys will hit you with hard, loud and crazy rap. But they’ll also hit you with real raw 90s punk, which I love. Or smooth techno that feels sexy and sleek.” With that in mind, return to HNHH for the latest on Doja Cat.

Doja Cat Poses Sultrily In Cat Suit On Instagram

Doja Cat was asked many things at the 2023 Met Gala, to which all she could respond was a firm, cheeky, and slightly inflammatory “Meow.” Moreover, her stunning tribute to gala theme Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette turned all heads at the ceremony. Not only did she arrive in a shimmering cat suit dress, but she employed prosthetic makeup to fully emulate the cat look. Furthermore, if we were in her position, we also wouldn’t give up a fit like that so easily. In addition to her show-stopping pics from the gala, the “Woman” artist posted some more pictures of her laying on her bed with her cat suit.

Of course, the 27-year-old’s fashion choice wasn’t the most controversial part of her 2023 Met Gala appearance. Fans were quick to notice online that Doja Cat was spotted vaping on multiple occasions throughout the night. Considering that she previously canceled some tour dates due to throat surgery, this was disappointing for many fans. Still, if there’s anything we can count on Doja for, it’s to do things her own way and make impactful artistic statements while doing so.

Doja Cat Keeps Her Stunning Met Gala Outfit On Display

Even though she might be banned from the Met Gala in later years as a result, maybe she won’t. After all, Doja Cat is one of the most beloved and talked about fashionistas in pop culture at the moment. Not featuring her during her insane relevancy in music and fashion today would be a huge missed opportunity. Just look at how mad fans got when neither Beyoncé, Zendaya, nor many others graced the gala this year. Regardless, apparently “no smoking” is a pretty big rule there, so we’ll see how consequential the aftermath really is.

Beyond that fan debate, Diddy and Doja Cat hosted an afterparty for the occasion shortly after it wrapped up. Guests included Cardi B, Paris Hilton, Emily Ratajkowski, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny. No matter what went on behind the scenes or during interviews, it seems like they all had an opulent blast. Meanwhile, if you want the latest updates and news on the Planet Her star, check back in with HNHH.

Doja Cat Arrives In “Purr”fect Style At The 2023 Met Gala

The 2023 Met Gala is absolutely packed with fantastic looks, luxurious ensembles, and a whole lot of stars. Despite all the commotion, it’s no surprise that Doja Cat and her stunning choice of style is one of the most talked-about fits of the evening. Moreover, the “Freaky Deeky” rapper showed up in cat makeup and a sparkly white dress complete with cat ears, fully embracing her name. In fact, it’s a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette, as the German fashion designer was this year’s theme. Not only that, but Jared Leto had a similar idea, showing up in a full cat bodysuit before revealing his look.

However, it’s easy to see why the 27-year-old stole the show, with her creative mix of makeup and wardrobe to pay homage. Also, it’s quite the payoff considering the very minimal tease that she gave fans on Instagram of her Met Gala fit. While they didn’t have much to go by, they always count on Doja Cat to deliver some eye-catching fits. Among a lot of other astonishing looks and appearances, hers is emblematic of the creativity and bombast she’s known for.

Choupette Tributed At The Met Gala

In addition to all this, the Los Angeles native also updates her followers on upcoming new music. Specifically, she suggested that she would be dropping a single in the coming weeks while expressing frustration with reception to her latest hairstyle. “Saw somebody edit hair onto my head for this look i did last night and it made me mad so i wanted to let them know they should be making money instead,” Doja Cat tweeted. “Im also aware of the ramifications of the last tweet and that I’ll only be seeing edits of me with hair for the next 4 weeks so I’ll be logging off / deleting twitter till my lead comes out.”

All in all, she continued her streak of impressive and out-of-the-box fits at the 2023 Met Gala. Considering that allegedly she left her hotel either covered in umbrellas or held up in a plastic bag, the quality of her outfit made sense to be hidden until the big reveal. Doja Cat At The Met Gala 2023

Doja Cat Teases Met Gala Outfit In New Photo

Doja Cat has been all over the place lately. Between her Twitter rants, Instagram lives, public appearances, and guest spots, it’s been impossible to escape her. It looks like there may be a reason for that. According to what fans have deduced from Doja’s latest tweets, her new lead single may be coming in about a month. The multihyphenate’s last album, Planet Her, was released in 2021 to critical and commercial success. It produced hit singles like “Woman,” “Need To Know,” and “Get Into It (Yuh).”

After her latest public appearance, it seems that fans have been having a little too much fun with Photoshop. At least, according to Doja, they have. She took to her Twitter to post about her distaste for the latest fan edits. “Saw somebody edit hair onto my head for this look i did last night,” she tweeted, “and it made me mad so i wanted to let them know they should be making money instead.” She then went on to say that she would be leaving Twitter for the next 4 weeks and would only come back when her lead single drops. This led fans to theorize that Doja unintentionally announced the release date of the track. It’s still unclear if this is accurate. Since Doja is taking a social media break, we likely won’t know until right before the drop.

Doja’s Mysterious Met Gala Tease

Doja did take to Instagram to post a new look at what could be her Met Gala look for this year. However, the picture provided very little insight into what she will be wearing. Many celebrities are gearing up for the event, which takes place later tonight. Doja has already been spotted in New York City, where it takes place. The theme for this year’s Met Gala is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which is a tribute to the late designer’s incredible body of work. If Doja’s recent red carpet looks are anything to go off of, the final look will be out of this world.

Doja turned heads at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year for her otherwordly Schiaparelli look. The singer was painted crimson to match her dress and covered in thousands of red crystals. It was a bold choice that garnered much acclaim from fashion industry icons and fans alike. As such, it’s likely we can expect another outlandish, fashion-forward look from the singer tonight. Who are you most looking forward to seeing at the Met Gala? Let us know in the comments!

SZA Thanks Fans, Addresses Doja Cat

SZA and Doja Cat recently graced music fans to the “Kill Bill” remix, which got a lot of love from fans. In fact, it was owed equally to the already excellent quality of the original track and Doja’s impressive verse that tied in thematically and narratively with ease. Of course, the TDE singer thanking fans for their support is practically a guaranteed post every week for someone of her success and humility. After the track made waves online over the past week, SZA took to Instagram to pen some words of gratitude. Not only did she address her die-hards and speak on industry pitfalls, but she shouted out the “You Right” artist for her passionate contributions.

“I jus wanted to say THANK YOU,” SZA captioned her post. “To every single person rooting for me. Thank you doja cat for your talent and time! This music s**t is weird and fickle, but y’all always come together for me at the end of the day. It’s why I always try my hardest to give you my best. That won’t ever stop. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!’ STREAM KILL BILL REMIX (feat doja cat) AND ORIGINAL.”

SZA Thanks Fans & Doja Cat For Success Of “Kill Bill” Remix

However, this excitement and gratitude is likely to continue from both artists in the future. On SZA’s end, she recently announced another leg of her highly successful SOS tour. For Doja Cat, this means continued teases and anticipation for her upcoming album, reportedly titled Hellmouth. Recently, she teased each track on the album in the most Doja way possible: playing about two seconds from each on Instagram Live before cutting it off. What’s more is that she kept up a nice mix of sincerity and playful misdirection through her social media messages.

“I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” the 27-year-old posted on social media. “I know they are, I wasn’t trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing y’all say that I can’t, so I will.” In another message, though, she wrote, “The whole album is no longer rap y’all. It’s rock/spoken work and the album title is not ‘Hellmouth’ anymore.” Doja instead teased Moist Holes, a “French conceptual experimental country/bohemian fusion with the essence of blue-grass.” No matter how Hellmouth lands, it’s expected to be every bit as fun, creative, and exciting as the artist herself. Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Doja Cat and SZA.

Doja Cat Reacts To Haters Calling Her Tattoo Satanic

These days, it’s more common than not to see some accusations of satanism float around the hip-hop world. Lil Uzi Vert held a bit of a monopoly on claims of devil worship, but other stars faced similar allegations. However, an overwhelming majority of people who face these claims just brush them off and point to aesthetic, style, or other reasons for using similar imagery. Moreover, the latest to do so is Doja Cat, who clapped back at Instagram haters who thought her latest tattoo was too close to taboo religious subjects.

“Not a fan anymore,” one user commented under her picture of a human-animal hybrid that the “Woman” singer tatted on her. “Used to love you but you clearly sold your soul to the devil. Unfollow.” To that comment specifically, Doja Cat responded in a way that might as well have applied to all the hate coming her way. “Whatever helps u sleep at night,” she replied to the dismissive attitude that commenter put on. Not only that, but she added an explanation of her art in another post.

Doja Cat Responds To Claims Of Demonic Body Art

“Images from the 1665 edition of Fortune Liceti’s De Monstris,” Doja Cat’s explanation quoted from another post. “Originally published, without the illustrations, in 1616. Liceti’s work, although not the first on the topic of deformities in nature, was perhaps the most influential of the period. In the wake of the book there was a huge rise in interest throughout Europe in ‘monstrosities.’: pygmies, supposed mermaids, deformed fetuses, and other natural marvels were put on display and widely discussed, becoming the circus freak-shows of their time.

“However, unlike many of his contemporaries, Licenti did not see deformity as something negative, as the result of errors or failures in the course of nature. Instead he likened nature to an artist who, faced with some imperfection in the materials to shape, ingeniously created another form still more admirable. ‘It is said that I see the convergence of both Nature and art,’ wrote Liceti, ‘because one or the other not being able to make what they want, they at least make what they can.’” On that note, Doja Cat wrote, “Your fear is not my problem.” Regardless of your take, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Doja Cat.

Doja’s Deep Dive Into 17th-Century Imperfection

Doja Cat, Beyoncé & Steve Lacy Honored In TIME’s Most Influential People Of 2023

TIME magazine just revealed their list of the most influential people of 2023, and some of our favorite musicians made the cut. Moreover, they specifically highlighted Beyoncé, Steve Lacy, and Doja Cat, with the latter receiving a cover issue and story with a foreword by Elvis director Baz Luhrmann. Furthermore, readers may remember that Doja provided the song “Vegas” for the film’s soundtrack. As far as other names, the publication also shouted out Jerrod Carmichael, Aubrey Plaza, Zoe Saldaña, Angela Bassett, and many more. On the athlete side, Brittney Griner, Kylian Mbappé, and Patrick Mahomes II were among the honorees.

When it comes to Doja Cat, she played with fans recently by saying that she was going to quit music while then hinting at what’s to come on her next album- though that could also be a joke. “I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” she stated on social media. “I know they are, I wasn’t trying to prove anything, I just enjoy making music. But I’m getting tired of hearing y’all say that I can’t, so I will. The whole album is no longer rap y’all. It’s rock/spoken work and the album title is not Hellmouth anymore.”

Steve Lacy, Doja Cat & Beyoncé Get Their Flowers From TIME

On the other hand, Steve Lacy recently shared some of the greats that influenced him in the creation of his hit album Gemini Rights from last year. “I’ve always loved doing that,” Lacy remarked on fusing genres together. “If I have a rocky beat, putting a soulful melody on it. Like ‘Dark Red’ and all those types of songs. It’s a way to play and introduce new ideas into things that we know already. Growing up playing Guitar Hero put me on to a lot of rock and guitar music. As I got older, artists such as Paramore raised me. Mac DeMarco, Dirty Projectors, Vampire Weekend. Even Weezer’s ‘Undone’ is one of my favorite songs ever. Hayley’s voice [of Paramore] and melodies are crazy because she takes the rock thing and makes it soulful.”

“When I make music, I take a small piece of everything that I love,” he continued. “I’ll take certain melodic approaches from Prince, but I’ll play it as if someone else was mimicking Prince, like if Jimi Hendrix tried to be Prince. But I like to mix different approaches together. It happens naturally. I’m never doing it all purposely. It’s just inside of me.” Meanwhile, Beyoncé recently reached another career high, as “CUFF IT” surpassed “Halo” as her longest-charting solo song of all time. Even someone of these artists’ caliber continues finding new ways to succeed, exceed expectations, and make new and equally relevant splashes in the culture. For more on Doja Cat, Beyoncé, and Steve Lacy, come back to HNHH.

Central Cee Is In His Bag On “Me And You”

All eyes are on Central Cee right now. In the past few years, he’s emerged as one of the most consistent artists in the UK. The release of his debut project, Wild West turned him into a leading figure in the UK drill scene. Mind you, his brand of drill music isn’t necessarily like many of his peers. Though he details the harrowing realities of the roads, he’s proven that he can appeal to a much wider audience with infectious bangers.

The rapper hasn’t taken his foot off the gas in the past few years but with the increasing international attention, it appears that a new album could be coming soon. He dropped off 23 last year, which transformed him into a global star. However, it was the release of “Doja” that truly emphasized his star power. Before the song even dropped, the snippet garnered millions of views on TikTok and cemented its status as the song of the summer. Needless to say, he’s keeping that momentum high this year.

Central Cee Shares “Me & You” In Time For Valentine’s Day

Following the release of No More Leaks and December’s “LET GO,” Central Cee came through with his first drop of 2023, “Me And You.” In contrast to the break-up anthem that is “Let Go,” Cench’s latest release details a tale of loyalty. With EY and Razor holding down the production, Central Cee delivers a blistering love song that comes just in time for Valentine’s Day, which is when the music video will drop. It’s not your typical love ballad but Cee continues to push the boundaries to much success with each release.

The rapper’s latest offering comes as rumors of his relationship with online personality, Madeline Argy, began to dwindle. However, Central Cee makes it abundantly clear that they’re still going strong in the midst of his ascent to stardom while reassuring her that he’s faithful to her. Additionally, he also remarks on the controversial opening bars on “Doja,” rapping, “When I said that my bitch was gay, I didn’t mean that shit in a degradin’ way.” Check out Central Cee’s latest single above and read our 2022 cover story with the 23 rapper here.
