Fans have seen countless celebrities taking part in holiday festivities this week but unfortunately, Lizzo’s in the process of mourning. The songstress took to social media earlier this week to reveal that she’s lost her pet dog, Pooka. It’s unconfirmed what led to her beloved pup’s passing. She’s made it clear, however, that the loss has been difficult to swallow.

She took to Instagram yesterday to share a variety of photos of herself and loved ones posing with Pooka. “I’m not ok im so heartbroken rip Pooka,” she captioned the carousel. Countless fans have come through with words of support as she reckons with the animal’s passing, noting how difficult losing a pet can be. “We will always love you, Pooka Diamanté Jefferson,” Lizzo captioned another sweet shot of her and the dog. “4•10•2005 – 12•24•2023.”

Lizzo Says Goodbye To Pooka

While the loss of her pet has certainly put a damper on the “Juice” performer’s holiday, it’s not the only unfortunate circumstance plaguing her as of late. Earlier this year, she was hit with a lawsuit from various former backup dancers who accused her of sexual harassment and other workplace misconduct. She’s since moved to have the documents sealed, though the judge has yet to rule on the motion. Her team argues that “documents, correspondence and testimony that contain sensitive, confidential information and/or proprietary business information, including employee compensation, contract negotiation, and third-party sensitive contact information” should not be available to the public.

After addressing the allegations and denying any wrongdoing, Lizzo shared last month that she’s in the process of self-improvement. “I’m working.. on music, myself, relationships with people and food, my anxiety, my body, my business, and my trust issues with the world. But they are deep now, deeper than they’ve ever been,” she revealed. Fans can only hope that their support, combined with the love of family and friends, will help Lizzo move forward after the loss. If I left the house for 5 minutes and came back you would make me feel like I had been gone for years the way you would run to me😩 I will miss you sooo much,” she captioned the post.

She goes on to further explain her feelings processing the loss and pay tribute to her pet. “I’m trying to hold up but you will no longer suffer & I know poncho been waiting for you at the rainbow bridge and you are in good hands with him & in Gods arms💜 I love you forever Hoodie🐶🐾🌈 Rest Peacefully,” the caption concludes. 2 Chainz announced the passing of his French bulldog, Trappy, on Instagram, Monday afternoon. In the candid post, the Atlanta rapper admitted that he’s “crushed” by the news. In doing so, he shared several photos and videos of the late dog.

“Can’t believe im even saying this man im crushed like a mf man this my heart right here,” 2 Chainz wrote. “I have had @trappygoyard for 9 years we have traveled and kicked it all over the world and he is no longer here mannn. Shit hurt me no cap. Feel like a person passed away. I love my dog he was so smart and laid back!! I have so many items and memories of Trappy. Can’t believe I won’t hear you snoring no more. I know for a fact we influenced many people to try to get a dog that looked and acted like you. It could never be another Trappy that’s was so sad to me. 2 Chainz bought Trappy from a breeder back in 2015. In the years since, Trappy’s been a staple in Chainz’s Most Expensive S**t series, as well as in social media posts and interviews. He even centered the music video for his song, “Grey Area,” around Trappy. The song was featured on the tracklist to Chainz’s 2020 album, So Help Me God!

As for new music, 2 Chainz recently appeared on the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. He’s featured on the song, “Givin’ Up (Not the One),” alongside Don Toliver and 21 Savage. The film as a whole is getting rave reviews and currently boasts a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Boosie Badazz Gifts His Daughter A Puppy

Rapper Boosie Badazz recently took to social media to share a sweet clip. The post shows him gifting his daughter with a puppy for her birthday. “WENT ALL THE WAY OUT FOR MY BABYGIRL,” Boosie captioned the post alongside laughing emojis. The clip shows Boosie pulling a small white puppy out of a gift box and handing it excitedly to his young daughter. In his latest Instagram post on March 15th, 50 Cent shows off one of his gym weights. In the post, people can clearly see that the weight has been attacked by a furry animal. No words are spoken in the video, but it quickly becomes clear to people who may be responsible for the wreckage. As 50 cent pans his camera, his dog can be seen in the background. The Pink Panther theme song can be heard in the video. Despite the obvious evidence, 50 Cent starts a short investigation.

As the rapper approaches his dog, the canine doesn’t bother to even inspect the object by sniffing. Instead, he turns his head away from the crime scene. The reluctance to even look at the weight shows obvious signs of guilt from the dog. However, the poor puppy has currently not admitted to his actions. Despite his ruined gym equipment, 50 Cent can’t help but find the situation humorous. In his Instagram post, 50 Cent writes, “Yo. Look how he look away LOL he know what he did.”

However, despite the overwhelming evidence against him, many fans are in support of 50 Cent’s dog. Some are claiming that the dog is simply looking around to see who really did it. Others are suggesting that his pet was just trying to help the rapper workout by getting rid of some excess ounces on the weight. Regardless of whether or not the dog is guilty, it’s clearly impossible for anyone to stay mad at him. More than likely, his pet was simply excited to join his owner in his fitness plan.

Lady Gaga Sued By Woman Charged In Dog Theft For $500K Reward

Jennifer McBride, who was charged as an accomplice in the theft of Lady Gaga’s dogs at gunpoint, now wants the singer to pay her the $500,000 reward that she promised to whoever found them. Moreover, authorities determined McBride had a hand in the crime, as she was allegedly dating the father of one of the men responsible for the assault. Still, she wants to force the singer to give her the reward in court. Furthermore, McBride maintains that the singer said she’d pay the reward “no questions asked” when she asked for help finding her dogs Koji and Gustav. For those unaware, two men stole these dogs at gunpoint from Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer.

The accomplice in the crime delivered Gaga’s dogs to her at the LAPD Olympic Community station on February 26, 2021, two days after her colleagues took them. Later, officials charged McBride in connection to the incident with receiving stolen property and being a post-facto accessory to the crime. While it seemed odd at first, the revelation of McBride’s romantic relationship with one of the culprits‘ father made it clearer. Afterwards, she pled no contest to her charged count of receiving stolen property and got two years of probation. Now, she not only wants the original $500,000, but wants to triple the amount in damages to $1.5 million for Gaga posting the “misleading” reward.

Meanwhile. L.A. County Deputy District Attorney Michelle Hanisse told TMZ that McBride knew more than she leads on. For example, she claimed that McBride had full knowledge that the dogs were stolen when she returned them for the reward. In addition, Hanisse maintained that McBride knew the men responsible for the attack for years.

Not only that, but allegedly them and McBride roped her in because they thought, since she was a white woman, they thought they could get away with it. Hanisse also pointed out that McBride is still on probation and, if the singer suffered any financial loss, Gaga could seek financial restitution from McBride.
