D.L. Hughley’s Daughter Fires Back at Mo’Nique: “You’re Clearly Two Crayons Short Of The Whole Box”

You probably would have thought that the beef between D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique would have been over by now, but every other day someone else is responding to Mo’Nique. Now, D.L. Hughley’s daughter Ryan Nicole Shepard has entered the conversation after Mo’Nique got personal in her attack of D.L.

Mo’Nique had posted a clip of an interview between D.L. Hughley and Sway Colloway where Hughley talked about how he dismissed a claim from one of his daughters when she told him she was sexually assaulted because he knew the character of the person who allegedly did it. In her caption, she wrote “When I said ‘how can DL’s wife suck the d**k of a coward’, this is what I meant.”

Ryan then took to the comments section where she wrote a lengthy response to Mo’Nique, telling the comedian that she has disrespected her mother and little sister to get back at her father and is only aiding in the “systematic and traumatic disrespect of other Black women.”

“Hi @therealmoworldwide I’m Ryan Nicole Shepard (D.L. Hughley and LaDonna Hughley’s eldest daughter). You’ve now publicly disrespected my mother—who I love and care for very much—and my baby sister—who I love and care for very much to get back at my father—who I love, respect and care for very much,” Ryan commented.

She continued, saying that her handling of the situation only proves how mentally unstable she is and how she has no respect for Black women. “Using my mama and my sister to show people my father’s character only shows how little mental stability, dignity, morality and respect you have not only for yourself but other black women. You’re clearly two crayons short of the full box sis. You’re disgusting and you absolutely need to keep every single member of MY family’s name out of your poisonous mouth.”

Ryan ended her response, telling Mo’Nique that if she would like to continue to have their conversation in private that she will “happily” give Mo’Nique the address to her home.

Mo’Nique then went on to post Ryan’s response and accepted her invitation to talk. “THANK YOU FOR THE INVITATION FOR A DISCUSSION. WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE YOU UP ON IT. BECAUSE IT COULD BE VERY HEALING FOR OUR COMMUNITY. HAVE @realdlhughley SET UP A TIME FOR YOU, & YOUR FAMILY & MY HUSBAND & I TO COME ON HIS SHOW & WE WILL GO FROM THERE. I LOVE US 4REAL,” Mo’Nique wrote.

The comedy world has been going through it these last few months. Between Chris Rock being slapped at the Academy Awards and Dave Chappelle getting tackled in the middle of a concert, the comedy world’s last thing is two of its legends beefing.

Welp, that’s exactly what’s happening.

Over the last few days, D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique have been embroiled in a beef that started over a debate about which one of the comedians was headlining a show in Detroit. Mo’Nique talked about her spat with D.L. while on stage, and D.L. responded by asking Mo’Nique if she was still mad about the deal she got from Netflix a few years ago.

D.L. and Mo’Nique posted their contracts on Instagram with conflicting details. D.L. posted his deal memo, which had him as the headliner, while Mo’Nique posted the contract she sent the promoter. The two’s show schedules also were different, with Mo’Niques saying she was the headliner and D.L.’s schedule saying he was headlining.

On his morning show on Tuesday morning, D.L. took the time to clear the air about his beef with Mo’Nique. calling the legendary comedian an “occupational hazard.”

“Now I know what Tyler Perry knows, I know what Lee Daniels knows, I know what Oprah knows, I know what Steve Harvey knows, I know what Charlamagne Tha God knows, I know what Netflix knows. Saying yes to Mo’Nique is an occupational hazard.”

Hughley continued to share his side of the story, blaming himself for taking a chance with Mo’Nique and asking why instead of handling her contract dispute with the promoters, she decided to rant about it on stage during her set.

D.L. Hughley and Kanye West haven’t always seen eye-to-eye. In the latest bit of commentary from Hughley, he points out Pete Davidson is poking the bear of YE by getting a neck tattoo of the initials Kim Kardashian and her children with the DONDA rapper.

TMZ caught up with Hughley and says that if he was Kanye he would be pissed off. “I think it’s his body, it’s his woman. That’s Kanye’s kids. That would piss me off,” Hughley said. “To me, the father’s alive, he’s taking care of his kids, there’s — I don’t know what that’s all about. That’s none of my business but if you tattooed my kid’s name on your neck, I’d have something to say about it.”

Hughley would also call it antagonizing. “You puttin’ that man’s kids on your neck, that’s antagonizing. That’s out of pocket for me.”

Previously, Hughley found himself on the opposite side of the Davidson drama leading to Kanye letting off some Instagram messages about the comedian.

“D.L. Hughley is a pawn Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and fine addresses DL So don’t speak on me or my children I can afford to hurt you,” Ye wrote.

Kanye would also hurl insults at Hughley, accusing him of being a drug abuser and more. Hughley would hit Twitter to respond.

“Hmmm! Ain’t it weird that #Kanye supposedly has all these goons who will kill for him, but not one of them will get his prescriptions filled?” Hughley tweeted. “Here’s a thought while you’re on your way to kill me in Calabasas, how about somebody drop by CVS and pick up his Xanax! Lol #TeamDl.”

Hughley would also take shots at West’s clothes and even the sexual life of Kardashian and Davidson.

After watching all the madness unfold, Steve Harvey hopped in to get Ye cleared up on one thing, D.L. Hughley would win a fight. Speaking on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Harvey told West the equivalent of Lil Durk’s hit single “Dis Ain’t What U Want.”

“Pull up, it ain’t what you want. If y’all do get to scrapping, all my cash on D.L., cause you have no idea,” Harvey said. “You been a lil politically, socially conscious rapper—we from a ass-whoopin’ era.”

D.L. Hughley Claps Back After Kanye Threatens To Hurt Him

If you follow Kanye West’s Instagram, you might have woken up Sunday morning to a string of posts about Ye’s recent divorce and not wanting his daughter North on TikTok. During his tirade on Instagram, Ye took aim at D.L. Hughley over comments he made during a recent interview on VladTV.

In one post, Kanye calls D.L. Hughley a “pawn” and tells the King of Comedy to not speak on him or his children before telling him “I can afford to hurt you.”

“And DL Hughley is a pawn Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and fine addresses DL So don’t speak onme or my children I can afford to hurt you,” Ye wrote.

In a separate post, Ye shared a video of D.L. collapsing during a performance in 2020. In the caption, he called Hughley a leftist pawn, a “practicing drug addict” and said that neither God nor D.L.’s own family liked him.

“We gone stop letting practicing drug addicts be used by leftist to Willie Lynch our Future Black people with our own opinion are not allowed to talk in public I am the glitch DL God does not like you You have no favor Your family hates you I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous Now you just known as a broke pawn at least Oprah got billions “allegedly”” Kanye said.

Shortly after Kanye’s threats, D.L. took to Twitter to fire back at Ye.

“Hmmm! Ain’t it weird that #Kanye supposedly has all these goons who will kill for him, but not one of them will get his prescriptions filled?” Hughley tweeted. “Here’s a thought while you’re on your way to kill me in Calabasas, how about somebody drop by CVS and pick up his Xanax! Lol #TeamDl.”

Hughley then took aim at Ye’s fashion choices and how Pete Davidson is sleeping with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

“Aint no way in hell I’d ever be scared of a dude who wears #IKnowWhatDidLastSummerBoots!!!,” Hugley tweeted. “It’s just too bad that you acting like a nut won’t stop #Pete from busting one!!” he continued.

The two’s online beef comes after Hughley sat down with Vlad where he scolded Kanye for the handling of his recent divorce and said that he is “stalking” Kim Kardashian.

Kanye West had a lot to get off his chest today. So far, he’s used Instagram to once again air out his grievances against Pete Davidson, who is now dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He also expressed his frustration with her apparent refusal to let him see his oldest daughter North. Another topic of conversation on Kanye’s Instagram was comedian D.L. Hughley’s recent comments about West. In an interview with VladTV, Hughley commented on West’s behavior towards Kardashian and said the rapper is stalking her.

“We gone stop letting practicing drug addicts be used by leftist to Willie Lynch our Future,” Kanye said in a post that also featured a clip of a past stand-up routine by Hughley. “Black people with our own opinion are not allowed to speak in public. I am the glitch. DL God does not like you. You have no favor. Your family hates you. I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous. Now you just known as a broke pawn. at least Oprah got billions ‘allegedly.’”

Kanye continued, “Come on leftist. Y’all gotta do better than this. DL Ye Bring the real smoke baby. Show your real face Charlemagne just don’t hit the same do he. Who y’all gone get now God is with us and you send DL to be against us. You’ve lost. No brilliant Hebrew’s will bow to y’all no more Only dumb ass drug addict House n****s.”

“Don’t play me and don’t play with God Anybody related to DL call Chris McLean at adidas for yeezys,” Kanye wrote. “They not free though. We running a business over here. He just getting ran.
