What Is M.I.A.’s Ohmni Streetwear Brand? The Conspiracy Theory-Inspired Clothing Line

M.I.A. has recently unveiled a unique clothing line called Ohmni, choosing to promote it on Alex Jones’ Infowars platform. Described as “the first streetwear for the modern information age,” Ohmni is focused on safeguarding personal privacy, autonomy, and bodily data. The collection includes innovative items like “Protency boxers,” designed to block electromagnetic frequencies and enhance fertility, and literal “Tin foil hats,” which claim to block WiFi, 4G, and 5G signals to provide “100% brain coverage.” Although Ohmni is a new player in the fashion industry, its bold mission statement already addresses the potential skepticism of its audience. Appropriately, the “Borders” artist introduced this line on a platform known for its conspiracy theories, Infowars, where she participated in an extensive and eccentric interview.

The Vision Behind Ohmni

According to the brand’s “About” page, Ohmni aims to be more than just another fashion statement; it seeks to be a shield in an era of technological invasions. With the rise of smart cities, AI, and pervasive surveillance, Ohmni’s mission statement describes its garments as the “last frontier at preserving your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data.” In M.I.A.’s words, this is not merely an artistic endeavor but a necessary measure for the modern individual.

Launching On Infowars

To debut her line, M.I.A. chose Infowars, a platform notorious for its conspiracy theory content, making it a fitting choice for Ohmni’s launch. During her appearance, M.I.A. elaborated on the line’s purpose, claiming it protects against nanoparticles, which she referred to as “evil dust.” The interview also touched on various topics, including a scrapped album, her controversial views on vaccination, and her experience with cancel culture.

Ohmni’s Controversial Mission Statement

Ohmni’s mission statement suggests that the modern home is akin to a digital battlefield. The line promotes itself as a proactive and precious defense against these invisible threats. The statement reads: “Future backwards is R U TUF. If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and precious metals. But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity.” This bold stance reflects Ohmni’s unique positioning in the market, aiming to merge fashion with a sense of digital security.

Scientific Skepticism

Despite its bold claims, Ohmni lacks concrete scientific explanations to back up its purported benefits. M.I.A. did not provide detailed insights into how the clothing protects wearers, and the Ohmni website prioritizes emphasizing the necessity of the clothing over providing scientific proof. As you could imagine, this leaves potential customers to decide whether to trust the brand’s claims or remain skeptical.

Background & Public Perception

In essence, M.I.A.’s Ohmni streetwear brand is a daring fusion of fashion and conspiracy theory, aimed at offering protection from the perceived threats of the modern digital world. While it has garnered attention for its audacious claims and controversial promotion, the lack of scientific support leaves its effectiveness open to debate.

Kanye West Receives Unflattering Depiction In “The Boys”

Back in 2022, Kanye West went on numerous anti-semitic rants. Additionally, he decided to start hanging out with white supremacists like Nick Fuentes and even Milo Yiannapoulos. Overall, this was a shocking display even by Ye’s standards. Fans felt completely betrayed and even now, Ye has been unable to shake the anti-semitic past he has cultivated. In fact, he never truly apologized for his comments, and there are numerous fans who have never returned to his side.

Now, it seems like Ye’s politics are being scrutinized by TV shows. For instance, The Boys is currently in the midst of its fourth season. Despite being a superhero show, it has proven to be inherently political. The show has taken aim at the Alt-Right and conspiracy theorists. In the latest episode, dubbed “Wisdom Of Ages,” a character named Firecracker mentioned Kanye by name while hosting a rally. During this rally, the character spewed their conspiracy theories and vitriol. Meanwhile, they claimed Kanye was actually in the crowd.

Big Hit Addresses Conspiracy Theories That He’s Actually Nipsey Hussle

Big Hit has released a skit addressing the long-standing conspiracy theory that he’s actually Nipsey Hussle. “STOP FEEDING INTO THE CONSPIRACIES I AM NOT NIPSEY HUSSLE,” Hit wrote as a captioned to the interaction with a random man outside his hotel. In the video, the man reveals that he believes Big Hit is actually Nipsey Hussle.

However, based on the comments, Hit will be fighting the allegations a while longer. “He said what everybody Been thinking. [laughing emoji], wrote one user. “[laughing emoji] every outsider Think every south cali n-gga from the streets look an sound alike …had a girl tell me I look like nipsey just foolishness ..no I’m just from the west stop it [laughing, okay emojis],” a second comment read.

Of course, not everyone gets to laugh about Nipsey. Last year, Charleston White was confronted by a group of Nipsey’s friends. White was no fan of Nipsey and has often gone out of his way to trash the late rapper. In the video, one person can be heard telling White to “keep Nip’s name out your mouth”, which leads to a full-blown confrontation. White responded by attempting to mace the group. As they rush inside the hotel, they can be heard saying “why n-gga spraying shit?” Both knives and mace are fully legal in the state of Arizona.

The moment came during a wild weekend in which White was meant to fight in a boxing match. After pepper spraying his boxing opponent the day before, White got into an altercation with a man at his hotel. The man shoved White, who then hit him with an unfolded flip knife, colloquially referred to as a “pig poker”. They jawed for a minute or so, White now brandishing the knife, before the man got into the elevator. The video, shot by one of the man’s friends, showed that the man was bleeding from a laceration on his head. It was later revealed that this was once again Suede the Plug God, White’s boxing opponent.

Ryan Garcia Claims To Have Been Abducted And “Seen Aliens” During Twitter Space With Andrew Tate

Ryan Garcia has continued to concern fans with his conspiracy theory-fueled posts on social media. Following an apparent hack over the weekend, Garcia, or at least Garcia’s account, has continued to post concerning content. The boxer claimed that he was “taken to the woods” where he was “forced to watch kids getting raped”. He also tweeted that he was shown an alien and that he has proof that he could potentially release.

However, things only got weirder when Garcia joined a Twitter Space hosted by Andrew Tate. Garcia reasserted his claim that he had been forced to watch pornography featuring children after being “tied down in the woods”. Furthermore, Garcia also said, “Bohemian Grove is real”. Bohemian Grove is a private campground belonging to a Gentleman’s Club in California. Conspiracy theorists believe that the ultra-exclusive two-week annual gatherings held at Bohemian Grove are actually secret meetings of the Illuminati or members of the “New World Order”.

Ryan Garcia Calls Devin Haney Fight “Personal”

Meanwhile, Garcia’s worrying behavior comes about two months before his highly-anticipated fight with Devin Haney. “To me, it is personal in a way. I don’t know, something’s just in me. I don’t even feel like answering these questions bro, I’m sorry,” Garcia told TMZ last week. However, Garcia did answer a few more questions from the outlet, further sounding off about his April opponent. “I don’t give a f-ck about his boxing skills. I’mma beat his a–, that’s it! I’m not a boxing analyst. Forget that dude! He’s gonna get it, 4/20, that’s it!” Garcia added.

Even though there are nearly two months before their fight, tensions are high between the two men. Garcia and Haney had been separated at Super Bowl LVIII in February after getting into a brief altercation. Additionally, the pair traded words when they jointly appeared on First Take this week. Who are you backing in the bout? Let us know in the comments.

Drake Tries To Shut Down Conspiracy Theories After Finding “Illuminating” Body Wash In His Hotel

As one of the biggest celebrities in the world, it’s no surprise that Drake is not exempt from Illuminati conspiracy theories. Sure, he hasn’t engaged in the “Satanic” fashion choices or lyrical allusion that many tinfoil hat proponents point to with other stars to prove their sold soul. But the Toronto rapper knows very well how these accusations can start in a flash, and is taking measures to clear the air early. Moreover, he found an “illuminating” body wash in his hotel room and, in an Instagram video on his Story, warned his assistant that this is how these rumors fly.

“To my assistant, right? This is how rumors get started, bro,” Drake told his IG followers while holding up the bottle of soap, including a GIF of the Illuminati pyramid. “This is how rumors get started. Somebody in the hotel cleaning up is going to see this like, ‘Oh, oh, he’s using that ‘illuminating’ body wash, huh? That boy needs that ‘illuminating’ body wash, interesting. Interesting fact, you know, about Drake. ‘Illuminating’…” We wonder if this hygiene product (and secret society) is what’s been fueling Drizzy and J. Cole’s current Big As The What? tour across the U.S.

Jokes aside, folks know Drake these days for his sense of humor online, although it’s not like he ever went offline. Furthermore, the other day, he was fooling around with a Playboi Carti filter on IG while seemingly at a club. But the 37-year-old complained that the filter is “racist” after it worked for him, but not for his friend. It was a pretty funny moment and a notable one thanks to the two’s collaborative history, although they haven’t released anything together in quite some time.

Meanwhile, The Boy is also prone to provoking some controversy and hot debate with his Internet activity. For example, he recently liked a post about Kelsey Nicole’s first interview since the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion shooting. Considering what the OVO boss already said about the debacle, folks thought he wanted the smoke again. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, come back to HNHH.
