A Fan Claimed Ciara Only Made ‘TikTok Music’ And The Singer’s Response To The Criticism Was A Goodie

Grammy Award-winning singer Ciara has made a career of crafting a blend of irresistible R&B pop dance hits. On her latest EP CiCi, for every ballad, such as “Forever” featuring Lil Baby, there are tracks like the Jersey Club-influenced song “BRB.” But apparently, that range bothers trolls online.

Ciara doesn’t mind addressing online criticism, but after one user claimed she only made records to suit one social media app, her response was a goodie. In response to a rehearsal clip soundtracked by Ciara’s song “BRB,” one user wrote, “She making Tik Tok music at this point.”

“And.. ..you’re watching…:) taking time to comment. Gotta love it #CiCi EP,” replied Ciara.

Supporters of Ciara applaud the singer for putting the troll in their place. “THANK YOU FOR LETTING #CiCi OUT ON THESE HOES! SHUT ‘EM UP, FAVE!!!!!!!! #CiCi outside fr! lmaoooooo YES,” wrote a fan.

To that, Ciara replied, “Not the assistant coach of a women’s basketball team taking time to hate.. that makes no sense [facepalm emoji],” calling out the initial users for trying to belittle another woman when her job is all about supporting them both physically and mentally.

Another fan pointed out, “They wanna be noticed so badly. They screamed the same thing with ‘Level Up,’” referring to her 2019 Jersey Club track.

Ciara And Lil Baby’s ‘Forever’ Video Will Restore Your Faith In Love And Finding Happily Ever After

Summer Walker and hundreds of social media users asked for a love prayer as intense as Ciara’s. All in the hopes of finding a healing love after heartbreak. But, as the singer points out in her new single, “Forever” with Lil Baby, prayer is just one of the many steps.

The track — co-produced by Jaydot, Precision Productions, and Theron Thomas — is a glimpse into the musician’s nearly decade-long marriage to NFL quarterback Russell Wilson. No matter how hard her famous ex’s fan base trolls their union, they somehow rise above it all while expanding their family (the pair or now on their third child together).

That perseverance is seemingly the inspiration behind the song’s opening verse, as Ciara sings, “Everyone’s hatin’, goin’ half on a baby / They think that I’m crazy / ‘Cause one night only can be enough / Some say I’m hatin’ because I be sayin’, ‘Love is amazin’/ I know I’m not the only one / Hold on, I want a real world together / If I’m trippin’, let me know / One plus another is better, babe / You spendin’ all your time alone.”

Lil Baby’s romantic history has been rocky, but that didn’t stop him from leaning into the record’s theme, rapping, “You ain’t gotta rush, it’s fine, baby / I’m the one you take your time with / Keep it for me, you gotta try sh*t / Made a bond, we gotta die with it / Head first, I done dived in / You the one, well, really you a ten / I know my mind like here she go again / We ain’t gotta standout, we could blend in / And I’ll make sure to give you my attention.”

Directors Taj and Dre expand upon the idea of happily ever after as the musician attend a glamorous wedding where they encourage their friends to leap into love.

A week after the WIlson’s announce their latest pregnancy, Russell Wilson shared a family photo from Denver Broncos training camp. “The Wilson 5 (+1),” Wilson wrote on Instagram. “2023 Training Camp – Year 12.”

Ciara recently provided another update about her pregnancy, noting how serious Russell Wilson is about her.

“My hubby ain’t playing no games, honey,” Ciara said. “I had to say don’t look at me. I can’t look in his eyes cuz it’s just, stuff like this happens.”

Ciara announced that she and Russell Wilson are expecting another child. In a black and white video uploaded to X, Ciara stands in front of a swimming pool before pivoting to reveal a baby bump. She then begins to two-step poolside.

Ciara’s announcement is coupled with lyrics from her new single “How We Roll”:

Top off summer in the wind

We make another kid
You my heart, i’m your rib
If I ever had to for you, I would do a bid

In March 2022, Ciara guest hosted The Ellen De Genres Show and was joined by Wilson for the special occasion. During the show, Ciara admitted and joked to the audience that Russell’s presence made her nervous. After giving her a large bouquet of roses, Wilson bent down on one knee, popping the question: “I have a question for you. Serious question. Can we have more babies?”

The couple are parents to son Win Harrison and daughter Sienna Princess. Ciara is also the mother to Future Zahir, whom she shared with Future.
