Maya Benberry, the now-viral ex of Travis Kelce, has addressed various claims she made earlier in the week about Kelce and his rumored new boo, Taylor Swift. “I don’t hate Taylor nor am I bitter, I got asked about my relationship & spoke on it because I can. I don’t think that Taylor is a 5. The initial comment was someone complimenting me so I liked it without even paying attention just like I do every other comment on my page,” Benberry said. The life coach had gotten backlash for liking a comment on social media that called Swift a five out of ten.

Benberry and Kelce dated after she won his 2016 dating show, Catching Kelce. However, she has since said that Kelce was “not the man for her” and alleged that he cheated on her. “Lastly…what I’m not going to do is put on a facade about my experience when asked about infidelity. You don’t have to like my answer. But the truth is the truth.” Kelce reportedly cheated on Benberry with his long-time ex Kayla Nichole. However, sources have denied the cheating rumors and said Benberry is exaggerating her relationship with Kelce.

Kelce Asks For Privacy

While he has yet to confirm the rumors, Kelce has asked for people to back off just a little. “I know I brought all this attention to me. What’s real is that, you know, it is my personal life. I want to respect both of our lives.” Despite this, Kelce only spoke very fondly of Swift. “To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with Mom, to see how Chiefs Kingdom was all excited that she was there — that shit was absolutely hysterical. It’s definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”

Kelce is next in action on Sunday night when the Chiefs take on the ailing Jets. After missing the first game of the season, Kelce has 95 yards and two touchdowns on 11 receptions. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are 2-1 after dropping their Kelce-less season opener. It’s unknown if Swift is going to hit up any more Chiefs games before she heads to Brazil for her last Eras Tour shows of the year in November. Of course, if they are dating, they won’t get much of the offseason together. Swift is spending most of 2024 touring Asia and Europe.

Patrick Mahomes joked that he felt pressured to help get Travis Kelce a touchdown on Sunday after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 41-10 blowout win over the Chicago Bears. Kelce’s rumored girlfriend, Taylor Swift, watched on from Kelce’s family suite during the game.

“I heard she was in the house,” Mahomes told FOX’s Erin Andrews after the win. “I felt a little bit of pressure. So, I knew I had to get it to Trav. And of course, it was on a route that Travis – he does his own thing and just makes up a route and I throw it to him. I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”

Swift’s support at the game comes after weeks of speculation about a romance between Kelce and Swift. Speaking with ESPN, last week, Kelce called the media’s focus on their relationship “hilarious.” “This is like the old school game called telephone, where everybody is just whispering in everybody’s ear,” he said, while adding that “no one actually knows what’s going on.” From there, he revealed that he did slide into Swift’s DMs at one point: “I threw the ball in her court and told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead. She thinks he is very charming, and they have been texting this last week. He is a little embarrassed at how much attention they are getting, but he has told her he would love to continue seeing her. They are seeing how things go.”

Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith even got in on the action this week. “He could do worse and that’s saying a lot because look up the name Kayla Nicole. I’m a fan. She knows that. You know what I’m saying. Chiefs Picked As Super Bowl Favorites, Patrick Mahomes MVP Favorite

Chiefs running it back? That’s what the oddsmakers see as happening his season. With the NFL season just hours away, we have gotten our first look at where Vegas stands on the upcoming campaign. Per, Caesar’s, the Kansas City Chiefs are 6-1 favorites to win the Super Bowl. If the Chiefs pulled it off, they would be the first back-to-back champions since the Patriots in 2004 and 2005. The Eagles have the second-best odds. However, FanDuel reports that more bets have been placed on the Eagles than any other team. The Aaron Rodgers-led Jets are at 16-1.

Meanwhile, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes also has 6-1 odds of defending his MVP title from the 2022 season. The last person to win back-to-back MVPs was Aaron Rodgers in 2020 and 2021. However, there has never been an instance of two players each posting a back-to-back MVP title in a four-year stretch. Joe Burrow is second in MVP odds at 7-1.

New NFL Season Spurs Some Wild Bets

Furthermore, news is starting to break about some of the more unusual bets that have already been placed. The largest verifiable bet is $20,000 on the 40-1 Raiders to win the Super Bowl. That would give the anonymous Nevada bettor $800,000. Meanwhile, DraftKings has reportedly received an $89 bet for a Texans-Cardinals Super Bowl at 10,0000-1 odds. The Texans and Cardinals each have 200-1 odds to reach the Super Bowl this year. However, there are also reports of a $25,0000 bet on the 25-1 Chargers. While it’s more money, it only (“only”) pays out $625,000.

The Chiefs open the season as -4.5 favorites over the Lions. Those odds dropped from -6.5 earlier in the week. With Travis Kelce officially questionable on the injury report and Chris Jones still holding out, the Chiefs are in for a tougher time against a resurgent Lions team. ChiefsAholic Added To Kansas City Most Wanted List

ChiefsAholic has been a regular sight at Arrowhead Stadium for many years. Dressed in a full-body wolf costume, a Chiefs tank top, and a snapback, he has become a team staple. However, he has undergone a very public fall from grace in recent months.

The first chapter in this saga occurred in December 2022, when ChiefsAholic’s absence from a Chiefs road game in Houston was noted. After a little internet sleuthing, armchair detectives discovered that ChiefsAholic, real name Xaviar Badudar, had been arrested on the way to the game. Why? Well, turns out he was a suspect in a bank robbery in Oklahoma. Subsequently, he was released on a $20,000 bail. Furthermore, he was given an ankle monitor and scheduled for arraignment in March 2023.

In a wild update to the story, it turns out that Badudar skipped out on his court date, left town, and removed his ankle monitor. After showing up in the Chargers’ viral schedule release, Badudar is having some much more serious attention. According to a report from Fox4, Badudar has been added to a local Most Wanted list in Kansas City. Furthermore, the article from the Fox affiliate notes that “There is an active arrest warrant for Babudar. If found, he will be arrested and held on a $1 million bond.” Despite committing his crimes in Oklahoma, the Fox4 articles notes that, “Crime Stoppers says even though Babudar is wanted in the Tulsa area, his last known address is in Overland Park, Kansas, and he knows people in the metro.”

Badudar is currently listed at number five on the list, which is maintained by the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission. According to the list, Badudar is wanted for “Tulsa County, Ok., Failure to Appear in Court Warrant for Bank Robbery.” This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here on HotNewHipHop.

Chiefs To Host Eagles In Week 11

The closer we get to the NFL schedule release (May 11, 8pm EDT), the more fixtures that are seemingly leaked. So far, we know about the international games, several holiday fixtures, and even Aaron Rodgers’ Jets debut. It almost feels like the NFL is way too eager to announce the schedules. HotNewHipHop will have full coverage of all schedule-related news.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs have been the subject of more leaks and reveals than most. They will play the first game of the season at home against Detroit. Week 9 has them in Frankfurt to face the Dolphins. Meanwhile, they have back-to-back holiday games at home, hosting the Raiders on Christmas and the Bengals on New Year’s Eve. That’s already about a quarter of their season made public. It also points to the Chiefs getting a lot of premier games at home.

The latest rumor from the NFL schedule comes from the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane. According to McLane, the Eagles will travel to Arrowhead Stadium on November 20 for a Monday Night Football rematch of the Super Bowl. McLane also said that the Eagles will begin the season on the road aganst the Patriots. The Chiefs have won four consecutive games against the Eagles. the last Eagles win came in 2009. However, to find the last Eagles win at Arrowhead, you have to go back to 2006. Despite this, the Eagles have come a long way since the Donovan McNabb days. Could they finally find another win in Missouri?

So much has changed since the Chiefs bested the Eagles in Arizona this past February. The Chiefs largely remain the same on the field, with minimal turnover. However, longtime OC Eric Bieniemy left for the Commanders, promoting former Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy to the run the offense. Meanwhile, the Eagles used their wealth of draft picks to add more elite defensive talent as they look to avoid heartbreak for a second year. DeAndre Hopkins Hints At Prefering Chiefs & Bills As Trade Destinations

DeAndre Hopkins hinted at preferring the Chiefs and Bills as trade destinations during a new interview with CBS Sports’ Bryant McFadden on The Catch. While he didn’t vocalize his opinion, Hopkins displayed his thoughts on the matter with dramatic body language. He also seemed turned off by the idea of playing for either the Patriots or the Jets.

Hopkins also addressed his status in a tweet on Sunday. “Hopkins doesn’t want a raise,” he wrote in one post. The five-time Pro Bowler is set to earn $19.45 million in 2023, and $14.915 million in 2024.

One team that McFadden didn’t ask Hopkins about joining was the Baltimore Ravens. Reports from earlier this week alleged that Lamar Jackson requested his team go out and acquire Hopkins as well as Odell Beckham Jr. While they successfully signed OBJ, trading for Hopkins may prove more difficult. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently revealed on Sportscenter that he believes the Cardinals are seeking a “Christian McCaffrey package” in return for Hopkins.

“[The Baltimore Ravens] have at least looked around at the luxury shopping, high-end wide receiver market, whether it’s Hopkins or like Denver’s Courtland Sutton,” Fowler said. “Uncertain whether they would pull the trigger on that sort of price point right now because it’s very high. But Hopkins, the issue is the compensation. Talking to other teams, they say that Arizona has wanted a second-round pick and more, maybe even as high as like a Christian McCaffrey package. We’re talking second-, third-, fourth-round picks. They will probably have to come off that to deal Hopkins, who has got $19 million in salary due to him. So, you still have teams like the Bills and the Chiefs and big-ticket teams that are at least looking, window shopping at potential options at receiver.” Hopkins’ Cardinals teammate, Budda Baker, also reportedly requested a trade from the organization
