Dr. Cheyenne Bryant Rips Cam Newton For Publicly Disrespecting Girlfriend

As a guest on the Breakfast Club, Dr. Cheyenne Bryant voiced her disappointment in Cam Newton and his recent revelation about cheating on his girlfriend Jasmine Brown. The retired football player shared that he has cheated on Brown and informed about it on the latest episode of his podcast. The reveal received mixed criticism on social media. Dr. Bryant called Newton “embarrassing” for making a private situation public. She told the Breakfast Club: “This man is disrespecting you … He’s not only doing it privately but publicly … He’s not even allowing it to be pillow talk … Like you have no respect at all for this woman. You’re sleeping with other women on your platform to make this woman feel how?”

During his podcast, the former New England Patriots quarterback discussed his infidelity with his girlfriend, saying, “As long as I’ve been with Jaz, Jaz has not been the only woman I’ve had sex with. And I hate that I’ve embarrassed her because no woman wants to admit that openly.” A father of 8, Newton shared he would like more children and it doesn’t matter if is with other women. Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, a life coach, expressed interest in speaking to Jasmine Brown about her relationship with Newton. “I would love to have a conversation with Jaz, even if it’s a private session,” she explained. “I think that she needs tools on how to be in this relationship if she’s gonna stay. And if she chooses to leave, she needs tools on how to also pivot that.” Bryant continued: “I think Jaz got herself into something, one, she didn’t understand… and I think she would love to backpedal if she could. But where do you go from here? You have a child.”

Jasmin Brown Continues To Dismiss Backlash To Her Boo Cam Newton’s Alleged Cheating Admission

Cam Newton ruffled a lot of feathers recently when he spoke on his thoughts about marriage, speaking on why he doesn’t want to commit to anyone just yet. He has eight children with three different women, wants more, and most recently, he allegedly admitted on a podcast appearance that he’s slept with multiple women since getting into a relationship with Jasmin Brown. However, just like she didn’t mind the marriage and commitment comments, she’s apparently not paying this much mind, either. In an Instagram Story post, she called out critics of her “ghetto” relationship while saying that reality TV shows like Love Is Blind are much worse.

“Chile, look, I know y’all think my relationship is ghetto,” Jasmin Brown said of her bond with Cam Newton. “But b***h, are you watching Love Is Blind season seven? Because *laughs*, yo, this s**t is wild.” She then proceeded to share a clip of the show that particularly made her burst out laughing. Cam’s boo previously addressed these alleged cheating confessions in another IG Story post, which caused a lot of debate and raised eyebrows for many fans out there.

Moreover, they both accused each other of cheating, with the former Migo claiming that the Bronx femcee cheated while she was pregnant. Of course, this resulted in a lot of media reactions not just from fans, but from other publications and outlets in the hip-hop world. One of these was The Joe Budden Podcast. On their latest episode, the team debated the veracity of their claims against each other and the morality of the situation given previous scandals.

“[The] allegation that she let somebody hit while pregnant,” Joe Budden began. “And I do want to hear from Mel on some of this stuff, I do.” “Honestly, I don’t believe it,” Melyssa Ford posited. “I don’t believe it. Do I believe that there’s a possibility that there might have been some text exchanges that might be a little too colorful, and he’s made a huge assumption based on the texts? They addressed the topic while speaking about their new song, “Better Not,” during an interview with Nessa on Hot 97. The song is included on their new album, Crash.

The interviewer begins by describing the track as “alarming.” In the lyrics, they rap: “I almost died the night when I caught you in somebody’s Benz (Ooh, ooh) / I better not catch you doing that sh*t again / And you’re not wrong, ’cause you’re not mine / I would choose this dance with you in every life / Though we’re just a little more than friends / I better not catch you doing that sh*t again.”

The war between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is formally entering its second round following the release of the latter’s response track, “euphoria.” After the kick-off “Like That” and Drizzy’s responses, “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” we already have a good idea of the main angles that each MC is taking against their opponent. As for the OVO camp, one of the most notable, new, and incendiary moments was when he claimed that K.Dot’s wife, Whitney Alford, cheated on him with his bodyguard, or multiple. While Kendrick claimed this was a fake attempt to stir up controversy on “euphoria,” fans went back into the Toronto rapper’s catalog and discovered another set of bars that could suggest this.

“Bodyguards don’t look like Kevin Costner, you tweaking / Just pulled up to Whitney Houston, Texas for the evening,” Drake raps on the 2020 DJ Khaled collab, “POPSTAR.” Given that it’s set up in a similar way to his mention of Whitney on “Push Ups” (“I be with some bodyguards like Whitney“), fans wonder whether this also alluded to that fact. However, considering the “POPSTAR” line previous to this, it’s also possible that the real depth behind this bar is just how much Aubrey decided to do his due research on The Bodyguard. It’s the 1992 film with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, for which her hit Dolly Parton cover “I Will Always Love You” was released, partly produced by someone who The Boy mentions on the previous line on “POPSTAR”: “If we talking joints, it’s just me and David Foster.”

But let’s wear the tinfoil hats for a second: maybe he’s insinuating that the real dangers as to Kendrick and Whitney’s relationship aren’t “Kevin Costners” (or the white women that the Compton lyricist admitted to cheating on his partner with years before this beef), but rather the bodyguards in their own circle. The 6ix God could even have insinuated that he himself was with Whitney on “POPSTAR,” à la the “Hit ‘Em Up” intro. If you thought that was a reach, just wait until you hear this next conspiracy theory.

Here are the next bars on “POPSTAR” after this “Whitney Houston, Texas” mention: “They tell the same story so much, they start to believe it / The ones that start like, ‘Drizzy’s s**t was cool, but we even.’” Might Drake be referencing Kendrick Lamar’s refusal to believe the other alleged side of this cheating story? Is the last part of these bars alluding to the artistic competition between the two, with him calling it a lie for Mr. Morale to consider him an equal and not a superior? Maybe… maybe not… but isn’t that the fun part about breaking down bars, especially in a rap beef? If nothing else, let’s give the Canadian superstar some credit for the Bodyguard wordplay, and let’s see what else they’ve both got in store.
