Charles Barkley’s High Praise For Jimmy Butler

Charles Barkley was like every other fan watching the Miami Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. The Heat’s victory gives the team a 3-1 series lead. Which many people didn’t believe would happen. However, the Heat have no interest in hearing what fans and the media have to say about their chances of eliminating the Bucks. Now Miami is in the driver’s seat to pull off the massive upset. Heat star Jimmy Butler is the leader of that bus. The Miami superstar carried his team to a victory on Monday. Which led to high praise from Barkley.

Butler’s 56-point performance was something you had to see to believe. Late in the fourth quarter, it felt like the Bucks were going to get the victory. However, Butler wasn’t going to allow the Bucks to leave Miami with a victory. Every offensive possession for the Heat in the fourth quarter was a can’t-miss moment. Fans were holding their breath while watching Butler put on a masterpiece performance. Including Barkley mentioning Butler as one of the greatest players to play in Miami.

Charles Barkley Dazzled By Butler Performance

“Jimmy Butler joins Alonzo Mourning and Dwyane Wade as the greatest Heat players ever.” Barkley’s statement is high praise for Butler. But the praise is rightfully so. Since arriving in Miami, Butler has led the team on a few great playoff journeys. The team made it to the NBA Finals in 2020, as well as the Eastern Conference Finals last summer. The Heat have been so close to the promised land and now are looking to create even a little bit more history.

However, the Bucks will not be going down without a fight. Milwaukee is the number-one seed in the Eastern Conference for a reason. But Milwaukee has had to deal with injuries to their star player Giannis. Winning this series for the Heat would put Butler high on the list of fan-favorite players in Miami. Where do you believe Butler belongs on the list of greatest Heat players? Is Charles Barkley right on Butler’s place in franchise history? Let us know what you think in the comment section. Charles Barkley’s Nike Air Max CB 94 Surfaces In “Triple-Black”

Charles Barkley is easily one of the best players of the late 80s and early 90s. However, he doesn’t get the same shine as a lot of superstars thanks to his lack of NBA titles. Overall, he only got to play in one NBA Finals, and he lost. Of course, this took place in 1993 against Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. Luckily, Chuck did get to win an Olympic Gold back in 1992 while playing for the infamous “Dream Team.” Moreover, he has plenty of other accolades that he can soothe himself with.

That said, soon after his NBA Finals defeat, Charles Barkley got an awesome new signature shoe. This model was called the Nike Air Max CB 94. Although it didn’t become as popular as an Air Jordan, it still had plenty of allure. Soon, it will be turning 40 years old. Consequently, Nike is paying homage to the silhouette by coming out with some fantastic colorways. These are all OG versions of the Air Max CB 94, that 90s sneakerheads will remember fondly. Next on the list is this “triple-black” colorway below.

Charles Barkley Would Be Proud

It is not hard picturing Charles Barkley wearing these during his prime years in the NBA. Overall, this is just a nice shoe that has a lot of oomph to it. Firstly, we get black all throughout the shoe in a plethora of different materials. Secondly, the part that truly stands out would have to be the straps all across the mid-foot. These make the sneaker really pop and it almost feels like the shoe is some sort of military boot.

As for the release date, that has yet to be revealed. However, we do know that these are going to cost $170 USD. If you love 90s sneakers and you are a Charles Barkley fan, then these are going to be a must-cop. Let us know your thoughts on this sneaker, in the comments section below. Charles Barkley Focusing On Bigger Story In Warriors-Kings Series

Charles Barkley was one of the many media members that spoke on Draymond Green’s latest incident. Green’s stomp on Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis will be the most memorable moment from the 2023 Playoffs. However, the Warriors and Kings series has been more than a stomp. The Kings have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead. Something that most people weren’t expecting from the young Kings team. But Barkley doesn’t want the Kings performance to get lost in the shuffle.

When speaking on the stomp, Barkley brought up what really matters in this series. “What really bothers me about this whole thing, to be honest with you, is we’re taking away from the fact that the Sacramento Kings are just kicking their ass.” Barkley is not wrong in his assessment of the opening-round matchup. The Kings have handled the Warriors rather easily in the first two meetings. Which shouldn’t be a surprise for a three-seed playing a six. However, when that sixth seed is the defending champion, it makes a massive difference. Check out the video of Barkley’s comments below.

Charles Barkley Praises Kings Recent Performance

The series between the two has shown the world a glimpse of a new NBA star. De’Aaron Fox has been the biggest factor in the Kings 2-0 series lead. On Tuesday, the league announced Fox as the first-ever winner of the Clutch Player of the Year award. An award that Fox rightfully earned with his performance in the regular season. Now Fox is putting on a show in the playoffs, and folks like Barkley are taking notice.

A Game 3 victory will all but seal the fate of the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are facing their first 2-0 series deficit in the Steph Curry era. Now the team will be without Green for his actions in Game 2. It seems as if everything is lining up for the Kings to pack their brooms to Golden State. However, No one should count Curry out until he is officially gone from the playoffs. Do you agree with Charles Barkley on the performance of the Kings? Or will the Warriors be able to come from behind and shock the fan-favorite Kings? Please give us your thoughts on the series in the comment section. Charles Barkley Believes Lakers Have Easy Road To Finals

Charles Barkley is starting to believe in the Los Angeles Lakers. However, it may not be for the reasons that everyone else is. On Sunday, during the telecast of the Lakers playoff game, Barkley discussed what he is seeing in the playoff landscape. No, it isn’t just the talent of the Lakers that has Barkley believing in them. But rather, their current and potential matchups waiting for them. It looks as if the Lakers could be playing a Grizzlies team that may be without their best player in Ja Morant.

Morant injured his hand on Sunday night, with the outlook not being so great. Now, the Lakers can pounce on the wounded Grizzlies, extending their series lead. Here’s what Barkley had to say on the matter. “If you actually look at it now, the Lakers that was the easiest path to the Conference Finals…I rather be in the Play-In and play 1 bad team at home. The Clippers got a tougher road because they have to go through the Suns and Denver.”

Charles Barkley Likes The Lakers Odds

While Barkley could be right in his assessment. However, if the Lakers advance, they will be taking on a strong team in either the Warriors or Kings. Yes, the Clippers could potentially have a tougher road with Phoenix and Denver. But counting out the reigning champs and Sacramento could seem rather foolish. However, with all the talk on future matchups, we’re only one game into the opening round. A lot can happen from now until the end of the week.

The Lakers bandwagon seems to be growing larger by the day. A team that was once believed to not belong in the playoffs. Now, has all the luck on their side. But they may not be entirely lucky. Lakers star Anthony Davis did suffer an arm injury on Sunday night. However, Davis did return and finish strong for his team in the win. Do you believe the Lakers have a favorable road to the NBA Finals? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it locked in here with HNHH.

Charles Barkley’s Nike Air Max CB 94 To Return In “Pure Purple”

Charles Barkley is a legend in the NBA. Although he was never able to win a championship, he is still one of the best ever, especially in his position. He was a scoring machine and could also rack up the rebounds. Moreover, he posed quite the challenge to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls back in the 1993 NBA Finals. Overall, Barkley is someone who ought to be respected for his play on the court. This is true even if you don’t agree with some of the things he says on television.

If you are new to the sneaker world, you may not know that Barkley actually used to have his very own signature model. This was the Nike Air Max CB 94. Kevin Durant Takes Jab At Charles Barkley

Kevin Durant respects what the co-hosts of NBA on TNT have done for the spot. Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are known as greats of the game. However, those greats have had a lot to say about the current game. Barkley has even had a few things to say about Durant in the past. The two have had their previous beef, but Durant realizes they’ve also had good moments. When asked about a potential sit down with Barkley, Durant didn’t hesitate with his answer.

“I probably wouldn’t sit down with Charles [Barkley].” Durant’s comments can be taken as tongue and cheek. The former league MVP had a big smile on his face when making the statement. But don’t get it twisted, there’s no love lost between the two. Barkley was very vocal about Durant’s decision to join the Golden State Warriors a few years back. The former Phoenix Suns star hated the idea of seeing another super team. A term in which Barkley himself has been a part of with his time in Houston.

Kevin Durant Has No Time For Barkley

The beef between the two really hasn’t been on the burner. Durant is more worried about getting his Suns to the NBA Finals. However, Suns fans would like to see the two be able to co-exist. Before 2021, the last time the Suns had been to the NBA Finals was when Barkley was leading the team. But those pesky Chicago Bulls featuring a man named Michael Jordan sent Barkley home ringless. Now the Suns have a great chance at bringing a championship back to Phoenix.

Whatever the case may be, it seems Durant hasn’t let go of Barkley’s past comments. Every professional sport deals with an aspect of this. Former players calling out the current generation. But it’s time for the generations to come together and celebrate the sport. However, the best generation’s discussion will always be a massive topic of discussion. What do you think about Kevin Durant’s comments on Barkley? Is it finally time for the two to settle this beef? Give us your thoughts on the situation in the comments section. Charles Barkley Has Jokes For Rudy Gobert: Video

Charles Barkley loves a good prank. The NBA on TNT co-host can take it just as well as he dishes it out. Tuesday, on pre-game coverage of the play-in tournament, Barkley decided to have a little fun. But that fun came at the expense of Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert. Gobert made headlines this week after attempting to strike teammate Kyle Anderson during a timeout. The action has since resulted in Gobert’s suspension from the play-in tournament.

However, that doesn’t mean that others can’t have fun at Gobert’s expense. Barkley decided to give his input on the situation the only way Barkley can. The NBA Hall-of-Famer took a shot at Gobert’s actions that resulted in his suspension.“I’m Rudy Gobert… You can’t hit somebody and run backwards.” Barkley throws a little salt in the wounds when discussing Gobert’s action. It was hard to keep a straight face for the rest of the crew. Check out the hilarious video below.

Charles Barkley Throws Shade At Gobert

Gobert’s actions are funny to some. But the Timberwolves will be without their big man in the seventh-seed play-in matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. Everything seemed to go wrong for the Timberwolves during their regular season finale. The incident with Gobert and Anderson was a big enough black eye. However, it wasn’t the team’s only loss of the day. Forward Jaden McDaniels fractured his hand after punching a wall at halftime. A franchise in disarray will now fight for a playoff spot against a team that has slowly become a favorite to win it all. The Timberwolves and Lakers will be the second game of Tuesday’s slate of play-in games.

Charles Barkley understands how heated an NBA sideline can get. The former Suns star has long been known for his firey personality. However, since retiring Charles has become everyone’s favorite NBA analyst. Barkley and Shaq have continued their off-the-court rivalry. Which has created great television. What are your thoughts on Barkley’s jab at Gobert? Do you think the joking is too much on the Timberwolves star? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. Charles Barkley’s Hilarious Hotel Soap Story: Video

Charles Barkley can sometimes be a walking headline. The NBA Hall-of-Famer seems to stay in the news over comments he has mentioned. But his latest story might be one he wishes he could take back. On a recent episode of The Steam Room, Barkley discussed a rather bizarre thing he does while on the road. Sir Charles claims he brings his own bars of soap with him on trips. He claims that soap at hotels is too small for him to use. However, the reason behind his thought may be a little too rated R for public consumption.

“I travel with a big bar of soap… These hotels started being cheap. Those bars ain’t big enough. Because I almost had a couple of accidents with the soap at hotels.” Co-host Ernie Johnson could barely keep it together when Barkley delved into the details of hotel soap. Barkley insinuated that the small soap may have almost caused him to make a mistake. We’ll let you decipher what Barkley means with his comments. But it won’t be hard for you to put it together.

Charles Barkley Won’t Drop His Soap

The story was too much for Shaq to take. The former NBA big man lost it when Barkley recounted the story on NBA on TNT. Charles can sometimes be comedy without even realizing it. However, this time, the former Suns star knows he has comedy gold. The NBA on TNT crew is the best team covering the sport. Shaq, Ernie, Kenny, and Charles are can’t miss television. From Kenny’s races to the big screen, all the way to the on-screen rivalry between Barkley and Shaq. Fans get high quality entertainment when tuning in.

We all now know that Charles Barkley fears hotel soap. A fact I didn’t really expect to ever know when discussing him. However, the reasoning for his fear is something we should all be scrubbing out of our minds. But Barkley isn’t the only one who shares strange habits when traveling. Do you have any traveling habits that you want to share? Please let us know your traveling pet peeves in the comment section. Charles Barkley’s NBA Playoff Guarantees: Video

A Charles Barkley guarantee isn’t always a good thing. Actually, more often than not, they mean the opposite. Barkley’s guarantees have been known to have a negative effect on the player or team that earns them. Comparatively, Barkley believed that San Diego State would be the winner of the Men’s Final Four. But the Barkley curse hit the Aztecs, and they fell just short. Now, Barkley has his eyes set on some NBA predictions. Look out if your team happens to be on Barkley’s list. However, for those keeping score, it would be in your best interest to place two new bets.

Sir Charles has high hopes for the Denver Nugget and Sacramento Kings. Barkley believes the Kings will earn their first playoff series win in over two decades. The Kings have been one of the more fun teams to follow this season. With their lighting of the beam, it’s hard to root against the Kings. The other team on Barkley’s radar is the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are loaded with talent. Which is why the NBA legend believes they will reach the Western Conference Finals.

Charles Barkley Has Faith In Nuggets And Kings

Barkley likes to have fun with his guarantees. Needless to say, Barkley was all in on the theatrics with his playoff predictions. However, Kings and Nuggets fans may not be too thrilled by his selections. But he can’t be wrong every time, can he? Eventually, everyone gets the correct call. Whatever the case, the NBA Playoffs are just around the corner. The NBA regular season wraps up on Sunday. With the play-in tournament starting on April 11th.

After the play-in tournament, the official field will be set. Sixteen teams will begin their quest to chase the ultimate goal. Teams appearing this season will be the likes of reigning champs, the Golden State Warriors. Fan favorites like the Kings and Bucks. With the potential of historically great franchises like the Los Angeles Lakers attempt to make the field. So, who will be the last team standing? Give us your playoff predictions in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Kendrick Perkins Takes Shot At Charles Barkley

Kendrick Perkins has never been a stranger to making a headline. Perkins is well known for his outspoken personality. However, on today’s edition of ESPN’s First Take, Perkins went after another outspoken media member. Perkins called out Charles Barkley for his recent comments on the legacy of Kevin Durant. Durant has recently mentioned that his legacy doesn’t matter to him. However, Durant has had issues with Barkley in the past for statements he has made.

When talking about Durant’s legacy, Perkins mentioned “ringless” former players disrespecting champions. Perkins went on to further name-drop the former players he was speaking on. Barkley has long discussed his disdain for players building super teams. Obviously, when talking on that subject, Barkley mentions Durant. The Phoenix star has been the topic of super teams, with his tenure in Golden State and Brooklyn. Just how far did Perkins go when discussing Durant’s legacy? Check out the video below.

Kendrick Perkins Has Had Enough Of Barkley’s Disrespect

Durant has mentioned in recent interviews how whatever decisions he makes never pleases the fans. However, joining super teams is never a good way to state your case. But Kendrick Perkins is on Durant’s side. The former Boston Celtic believes those without rings don’t feel the pressure of a champion. The conversation wasn’t pointed solely at Barkley. However, Perkins was sure to give him some shine during the conversation. A conversation between these two would make for must-see television.

Conversations about a player’s legacy are important to fans and the media. Contrarily they shouldn’t be happening until the said player has retired. Durant’s legacy is not finished. It seems difficult for someone to speak on a legacy while a career is still in progress. One thing is for sure, Barkley will have no issue with answering Perkins’ statement. What are your thoughts on Perkins; statement? Should ringless players sit out of the conversations? Or do any Hall-of-Famers have the right to speak on the game? Let us know in the comment section below what your thoughts are. To stay up to date with the latest sports news, stay locked in with HNHH.
