Tamika Mallory Speaks On Chris Brown’s NBA All-Star Game Claims

Tamika Mallory says brands should have the right not to work with Chris Brown due to the singer’s past sexual assault and domestic violence allegations. However, she also asked fans on social media when to forgive someone for their actions when they were younger. Brown had taken to Instagram on Friday to complain that the NBA uninvited him from the All-Star Celebrity Game due to sponsors being upset with his presence.

“I was asked by the NBA to play in the All-Star Game this year!” Brown revealed on his Instagram Story. ” Only for them to call later and say I couldn’t do it because of their sponsors like Ruffles. At this point, I’m sick of bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f*cking past. I posted the emails so y’all could see. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side… NOT F*CKING HAPPENING.”

While many fans came to Brown’s support on social media, Tamika Mallory had a more nuanced take. She wrote on her Instagram: “On this issue… brands have every right to choose who they do or don’t want to work with in situations surrounding domestic violence, sexual assault etc etc… I have questions for our community… especially our women.” From there, she asked at what point someone who did something wrong gets to move forward. Check out Mallory and Brown’s posts below.

Rubi Rose Asks Kai Cenat To Drop 30 For Her In NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, He Responds

Looks like Kai Cenat is facing a lot more pressure than he expected to perform at this year’s Celebrity All-Star Game for the NBA’s All-Star Weekend. Moreover, Internet sensation and muse of humanity, Rubi Rose, just asked him to drop 30 points for her in the match. The streamer and media personality responded in kind, posting a popular meme of LeBron James’ “game face” on his Instagram Story. He’s going to have to tap into some real Jordan Poole energy, but we’re confident that he’s going to show up and hoop regardless. If the Bronx native underperforms, then he’ll at least have the excuse of being a bit too distracted by the rapper.

Furthermore, the two have a pretty cool and casual relationship as content creators and online personalities. One of their last interactions in the public eye was pretty comical, and goes to show how much farther they’ve gone in their careers. Kai Cenat trolled Rubi Rose by gifting her a “Birkin bag” from Temu, which she was obviously not super thrilled with. But they kept things light, snappy, and funny, and we can expect that they’ll joke about this All-Star challenge soon after the weekend.

Meanwhile, Rubi Rose’s Internet antics and allegedly negative behavior towards Nicki Minaj resulted in a blast radius much larger than its intended target. Actress Ruby Rose remarked how the Barbz were sending her death threats meant for the Kentucky MC instead, and how it was quite the headache to handle. So this is your PSA if you are a hardcore Stan: please make sure you get those handles right for when you do your social media harassing. Jokes aside, we’re sure Rubi doesn’t mind the smoke, but as long as it’s to and from the right place.

On the other hand, Kai might just represent a sea change in hip-hop media, now that Killer Mike showed him love. You may recall that he didn’t even know who Mike was when he won three Grammys earlier this month. Maybe a 30-point game, plus the Atlanta legend’s cosign, will start to convince old heads that the 22-year-old isn’t as bad as they fear. To find out whether this happens, stay posted on HNHH for the latest updates and news on Rubi Rose and Kai Cenat.

Janelle Monáe Wears MSCHF Boots With A Twist At NBA All-Star Weekend

Janelle Monáe just stepped out in customized MSCHF boots during the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend. Of course, their style and ability to keep up with (and set) trends is no doubt impressive. As such, it’s only fitting that their embrace of the viral Big Red Boots should come with a twist. Furthermore, artist Kevin Rejtö Lowry painted the custom “Float” boots for Janelle, referencing their latest comeback single. Moreover, it’s a sky-blue background with various clouds floating over the shoe, making for a beautiful sight. Also, Monáe combined them perfectly with a sky-blue “Float” varsity jacket and blue-white shades.

However, the 37-year-old’s fashion talents didn’t necessarily translate into a high-scoring Celebrity All-Star performance. Even though Monáe played defense on their opponents while the singer’s team had possession, they still had a good time. “Nah fr that was bucket list,” they tweeted after the game. “I got cut from my team as a kid (it was traumatic!) and now I’m laughing. Thank you @NBAAllStar for having meeeee.” Also, Rolling Stone reported that Dwyane Wade (who ran Monáe’s team) told them to step up at one point. “When we down here, I need you to be ready to score,” he allegedly said.

Despite Monáe’s hooping skills, they certainly impress with their fashion every time. What’s more is that there were plenty of other people on their team who carried that weight already. For example, in almost prophetic fashion, 21 Savage scored Team Wade’s 21st point with a clean three-pointer. Their team, coached by Giannis Antetokuonmpo, faced Utah Jazz governor Ryan Smith’s team, under Fat Joe’s coaching. Moreover, Monáe went head-to-head with Cordae, Ozuna, DK Metcalf, and many more.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City artist recently returned to music with their “Float” single, during which they boast in classic, confident Janelle fashion. Came back from the future to take all y’all n***as and take all y’all h*es,” they rap. “They said I was bi, yeah, baby, I’m bi, a whole ‘nother coast / She stay in the Hills, he stay in Atlanta, I paid for them both / My face card don’t come with a limit, I swipe it, I spend it, I swear I be doin’ the most.” Check out their new track above and return to HNHH for the latest greatness from Janelle Monáe.

21 Savage Scores Team’s 21st Point In NBA Celebrity All-Star Game

Sometimes basketball is more than just a game; it’s destiny. 21 Savage scored his team’s 21st point at the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game this weekend. Moreover, Dwayne Wade led 21 and his team against Utah Jazz Ryan Smith. While Milwaukee Bucks giant Gianns Antetokuonmpo coached the Atlanta rapper’s side, his teammates included Janelle Monáe and Hasan Minhaj. Even with rappers like Cordae as court opps, Savage still gave an impressive performance. Before the actual game, both teams competed in a 4-point challenge where players earned $4,000 for each bucket.

Furthermore, 21’s first quarter also contained an assist to tennis star Francis Tiafoe. After two turnovers and a hard foul, the “Privileged Rappers” MC scored a three-pointer, giving Team Wade the lead with 21 to 19 with a minute and a half to go in the first quarter. Meanwhile, their opposition sometimes took some breaks to cool off. Even though Cordae scored zero points, he enjoyed some courtside pizza with coach Fat Joe. Still, at the end of the day, Team Wade won the game in tense and unpredictable fashion.

Moreover, WWE superstar The Mix sank a half-court shot to secure victory, with the final score being 81-78. Also, accomplished Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf received MVP honors with 20 points, ten rebounds, and four blocks on 9-of-16 shooting. Of course, this is one of the more unorthodox but potentially iconic wins in 21’s recent history. Not only did he recently score a fateful shot for his victorious team, but he took some dubs in court as well. Recently, him and Drake settled their lawsuit from Condé Nast for their fake Vogue covers to promote their album Her Loss.

Well, maybe ‘win’ isn’t the right word for the settlement. After all, Condé Nast sought at least $4 million in damages for the falsified promotional material. However, reports did not specify the amount of said settlement, so maybe things didn’t get that steep. Overall, at least the “Umbrella” rapper can add “kismet baller” to his resumé after his Celebrity All-Star performance. Regardless of your own hooping skills, come back to HNHH for the latest on 21 Savage and the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend.

21 Savage Headlines NBA Celebrity All-Star Game Rosters

At this point in his career, 21 Savage is one of the biggest artists in hip-hop. Overall, he is beloved by fans, and his growth over the past few years has been stunning to watch. Additionally, his efforts on Drake’s Her Loss project have kept him busy. He is embarking on a tour with Drake, and it is certainly going to be a whole lot of fun. If you are a fan of the artist, you can’t help but be excited by what he is producing. He continues to get better and better, and we’re sure that will continue to be the case as time goes on.

In addition to his rap interests, 21 has proven himself to be a sports fan. Occasionally, he competes in some friendly games of basketball, and overall, he has improved his game over the years. One could perhaps attribute this to Drake, who is constantly improving his own basketball skills. Either way, the artist is now getting ready to showcase these skills as part of NBA All-Star Weekend. Yes, that’s right, 21 is going to be in the celebrity game.
