50 Cent has been extremely vocal about the Diddy and Cassie situation. Ever since Cassie filed her lawsuit against the music mogul in November of last year, Fif has been making all sorts of comments on social media. He has mostly been making memes at Diddy’s expense, and he has not taken his foot off of the gas. In the aftermath of the recent hotel footage that depicts Diddy assaulting Cassie, Fif has continued to call out the disgraced mogul. Furthermore, earlier today, Cassie released her own statement in which she thanked fans for their support.

“Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously,” Cassie said. “My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in. I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you. Love Always, Cassie.”

50 Cent Speaks

Following this statement, 50 Cent took to his own Twitter account where he showed some support for Cassie. “I can’t wait to hear new music from @cassie , get to it let’s go!” he wrote. Overall, it was a nice message and a break from the trolling he had been doing previously. Whether or not we do hear music from Cassie soon, still remains to be seen.

King Combs returned to Instagram with a “Seen it all” photo dump after launching a diss track against 50 Cent, who’s been the number one troll against his father Diddy amid his various allegations and lawsuits. Moreover, the fallout from that song is still ongoing, with plenty of big and small creators online joking about it, celebrities chiming in, and some deeper discussion on the nature of this dynamic. It’s not a pretty picture, but one that shows how a massive scandal like this really trickles down in the media and entertainment industry. While Combs’ new IG post aims to appear unbothered, the comments section don’t leave much room for that.

“Damn the video footage out now time to diss CNN,” one commenter wrote under King Combs’ post below, referencing newly emerged alleged footage in which Diddy supposedly assaults Cassie in a hotel hallway. It actually lines up with her recounting of events in her since-settled lawsuit against Sean Combs, if the dates and location claimed in the clip actually line up with the filing. It’s very disturbing footage that shouldn’t be taken lightly, although the legal claims against the Bad Boy mogul remain just that: claims. After new alleged footage surfaced of Diddy supposedly assaulting Cassie in a hotel room, one of his ex Kim Porter’s alleged friends spoke out. However, it’s important to note how Egyptian-Sudanese writer Kola Boof explained her relationship with Porter: they apparently had dinner once and spoke on the phone a couple of times. As such, take this with a grain of salt. “This DIDDY thing is not a surprise, but it makes me remember the horrible way he treated my friend… KIM PORTER,” Boof tweeted on Friday (May 17). “…and how I’ve always silently held him responsible for her young death. #RIP KIM. Diddy was a motherf***er. Ya’ll would not even BEGIN to believe the way he treated KIM PORTER — and (ironically) CASSIE back then allowed herself to be used to disrespect Kim in her own home.

Diddy Allegedly Assaults Cassie In New Footage From Hotel Security Camera

New hotel security camera footage from Los Angeles in March of 2016 (reportedly and exclusively obtained by CNN) allegedly shows Diddy assaulting Cassie, lending supposed truth to her since-settled lawsuit against him. It’s important to note that the accusations against him remain speculative and still have yet to fully meet a court of law to determine their veracity. We will not link the video itself in this article, but if you are curious enough to find it in the “Via” link below, proceed with caution as it displays disturbing images. Whether this clip is accurate or not, it seems to parallel some of the narratives that Cassie put forth in her lawsuit.

For one, Diddy is seen striking Cassie in the head in front of the hotel elevator, kicking her twice, taking her possessions back to the hotel room, and then returning to Cassie in the hallway to shove her and launch an item at her, which seems to be a vase. While his representatives have not yet commented on this video, and join him in the staunch denial of any and all allegations, Cassie’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor issued a statement via email. “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Furthermore, this alleged video seems to be a partial recording of a March 2016 incident that Cassie referred to in her lawsuit against Diddy. In the filing, she claims that it took place at the InterContinental Hotel in Center City, Los Angeles, and that he gave her a black eye while he was intoxicated. CNN was reportedly able to confirm that this alleged clip shows the same interior design as publicly available pictures of the former hotel. While the Bad Boy mogul allegedly returned Cassie’s items to the hotel room while wearing a bath towel and socks, she made a call on a hotel phone, which is when he threw what seems like a vase at her.

With all this in mind, it’s anyone’s guess as to how this could impact the pace, public visibility, or charges when it comes to Diddy’s controversies. While he settled this lawsuit with Cassie, various other legal filings emerged against him. This has been a whirlwind of a story, and this alleged proof might only exacerbate its depth and severity. There have been numerous updates on the Diddy front as of late. For instance, yesterday, it was reported that Cassie would be cooperating with the federal investigation. Of course, Diddy has yet to be charged with anything. However, Cassie did sue Diddy back in November, and they ultimately settled. Now, 50 is using this latest news bulletin to make more jokes at Diddy’s expense.
