Brooklyn rapper Casanova, born Caswell Senior, is back in the news again this week awaiting sentencing for the ongoing Gorilla Stone Nation case.
Casanova is among the 18 individuals charged as members of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone gang in a comprehensive RICO case that emerged in December 2020.

The gang is accused of various crimes, including drug trafficking, violent assaults, and the murder of a 15-year-old boy in Upstate New York.

Initially, Casanova faced charges of racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to knowingly and intentionally manufacture, distribute, or dispense, or possess with intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense, a controlled substance (crack cocaine, cocaine, and marijuana), and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

He initially pleaded not guilty, and the rapper asserted his innocence, arguing that his high-profile status and connections to specific individuals made him a target for the authorities.

In November of 2021, Cas was hit with another indictment that claimed Casanova and another Gorilla Stone member named Jarrett “Jayecee” Crisler shot a member of the Crips in front of the King of Diamonds strip club during a dispute over gang signs.

The rapper also admitted to being the shooter in a July 5, 2020, incident at a Florida party involving other gang members. During the altercation, Casanova fired at a rival over a gambling disagreement.

Additionally, the rapper acknowledged his involvement in a 2018 robbery in Manhattan that left a woman named Niya Rucker severely injured.

Rucker claimed that Gorilla Stone members attacked her, breaking her jaw, as she was restrained for recording the rapper during a meal.

Casanova also confessed to conspiring to traffic a minimum of 100 kilograms of marijuana and being a key figure in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation.

He has now pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to conduct and participate in the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity and one count of conspiracy to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana.

His new sentencing date is now scheduled for June 27, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. Casanova faces up to 60 years in prison.

Casanova Spoils Wife From Behind Bars For Valentine’s Day

Regardless of where he is, Casanova makes sure his wife feels special. The rapper turned himself over to the authorities in December 2020, and he’s been locked up ever since. Casanova was named in an indictment that alleged he was a part of the Gorilla Stone Nation gang. Several others were also arrested and accused of crimes related to drug trafficking, firearm possession, and murder.

The rapper has fiercely denied the allegations against him and later took a plea deal. At the moment, Casanova awaits sentencing, but as his fate hangs in the balance, he wants his wife’s Valentine’s Day to be as grand as possible. Incarcerated Brooklyn emcee Caswell “Casanova” Senior is sitting in a federal detention facility after pleading guilty to racketeering and drug distribution charges earlier this year. Now, a new photo of Casanova behind bars has surfaced online.

Cas seems to be in good spirits from the look of the image, draped in a yellow, federal prisoner’s uniform while giving a half-smile to the camera.

Senior is slated to be sentenced in December, where he could receive anywhere from five to sixty years in federal prison.

As previously reported, Casanova was arrested along with 17 other co-conspirators in 2020 on federal racketeering and drug charge after the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation fell to a RICO indictment, which involved firearms charges, narcotics, fraud and the murder of a 15-year-old male.

Casanova Pleads Guilty To Drug And Racketeering Charges

Screen Shot 2022 05 12 at 2.39.14 PM

According to several confirmed reports, Brooklyn rapper Caswell “Casanova” Senior plead guilty to drug and racketeering charges today in a Brooklyn federal court. Senior confessed to several crimes as prosecutors claimed he was the leader of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods gang.

Senior surrendered to the FBI at t he end of 2020, with prosecutors alleging that the “Don’t Run” rapper directed a drug gang conspiracy that spanned from New York to Florida. The U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan says that Senior confessed to a shooting in Florida in 2020, a 2018 robbery in NYC and trafficking more than 100 kilos of marijuana.

Back in December 2020, Casanova was the centerpiece of a federal investigation, to which he surrendered to the feds on racketeering charges and was denied bail, despite his lawyers and family situating a $2.5 million bail package, but S. District Judge Phillip Halpern denied his proposal.

Shortly after co-defendant Shantay Outlaw struck a deal with prosecutors, Senior was hit with an attempted murder charge for the 2020 shooting in Miami, to which he has now admitted guilt.

Casanova is set to be sentenced in federal court in December. He faces a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 60 years in prison.

His guilty plea comes within days of Young Thug, Gunna and 26 other YSL members indicted on RICO and other street gang/organized crime related charges.

Casanova Pleads Guilty To Racketeering Charges, Including Attempted Murder

Young Thug and Gunna aren’t the only rappers in trouble with the law for some of their pre-fame activities. New York rapper Casanova, who’s had a few viral hits in the last few years and dropped his debut album Behind These Scars on Roc Nation in 2019, was also indicted on racketeering charges in 2020 due to his alleged membership in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Blood set. On Wednesday, he pled guilty to the charges against him, which included firearm possession, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, racketeering, and attempted murder, according to local news.

In 2020, 18 members of Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation were arrested and charged with racketeering, murder, narcotics, firearms, and fraud offenses, but Cas was not one of them, prompting the FBI to issue a statement asking for information on his whereabouts. He surrendered a day later and was denied bond — just like members of YSL in their ongoing case. Although Cas maintained his innocence, the thing about a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) charge is, that if one member is found guilty of a crime and the association can be proved in court, all members can be charged with that crime.

It appears Cas wanted to save himself the trouble of a lengthy trial and try to curry some favor with the court regarding his sentencing, which is scheduled for December 6. A mandatory minimum sentence would see him serve five years, while a maximum would be set at 60.
