Cardi B And Offset’s Son Wave Is A “Bad Boy” In New Instagram Post

Cardi B seems to have found fresh inspiration to release new music following her experience at Summer Jam. It has been over five years since her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, won a Grammy and became available on streaming platforms. Since then, her fans have eagerly awaited her second album. While she has released a few singles in recent years, she hasn’t unveiled a significant amount of new music. Notable hits like “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Up” have been exceptions, but overall, it has been relatively quiet. Instead, Cardi B has been featured on tracks by other artists.

Most recently, Cardi B collaborated with Latto on a song titled “Put It On The Floor Again.” They performed the track during Cardi’s headline set at Summer Jam 2023. Although she didn’t premiere any new music at the event, her return to the Tri-State Area seems to have reignited her motivation to release fresh tracks. Cardi delivered an impressive performance, with guest appearances by 21 Savage, Dougie B, and GloRilla. Now, it appears that she is ready to return to the recording studio and work on new music. In the meantime, Cardi posts plenty of content on her socials for fans to interact with.

Cardi’s Son Wave Plays With Cash, Not Toys

Cardi B and Offset’s son is a “bad boy.” Offset recently shared a video featuring their son, Wave. In the video, he seems to already living a lavish lifestyle. The clip shows the toddler is wearing diamond earrings and playing with toys. The toys in question, however, are actually bundles of cash. Offset captioned the video with “Bad Boy Wave.” In another photo within the slide, numerous $100 bills are scattered on the floor. Wave looks on with curiosity, clearly not certain what they are. Towards the end of the video, he appears tired and amusingly prepares for bath time.

Cardi B and Offset welcomed Wave into the world in 2021. He was their second child together, following the birth of their daughter Kulture in 2018. Offset has frequently expressed his desire to provide his children with a luxurious upbringing. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September, he explained, “At the end of the day, we went through life and we didn’t have the opportunities… So I’m just lending it to my kids. Just letting them see they can have another life too, you know? We work hard to do that.” What do you think of Cardi and Offset’s philosophy on raising kids? Let us know in the comments!

Cardi B And Offset: Relationship Timeline

There is absolutely no doubt that the world of hip-hop and modern rap has been changed drastically since the launch of Cardi B and Offset’s relationship. The couple has become a major powerhouse of the music industry over recent years, even becoming the face of what it means to value family and career equally. Their combined successes have resulted in countless hit tracks and collaborations that have altered the industry for rap fans. Together they continue to rule the hip-hop scene with their five beautiful children and happy, long-lasting relationship.

Dating

Cardi B and Offset met for the very first time in early 2017. At the time, both of their rap careers had already taken off significantly. Offset was a part of the popular rap trio, Migos. They released their debut album as well as hit singles including “Bad and Boujee”, which contained the famous lyrics “rain drop, drop top” rapped by Offset himself. Meanwhile, Cardi B had been kickstarting her career. She was a regular cast member on the reality TV show series Love & Hip Hop: New York.

Back in 2017, Offset had slid into the DMs of one of Cardi B’s good friends to let her know that he was interested. He later invited her to a dinner he was hosting in honor of “Bad and Boujee”‘s success. That’s they met for the first time and immediately hit it off. According to an interview with ESSENCE, Cardi B had admitted the following:

“When my friend told me that he was trying to holler at me, I was like, ‘I’m not trying to deal with no industry rappers, because I already know what type of time they’re on.’ I was scared. I’m a relationship girl.”

While she was hesitant to spark a relationship with the rapper, they soon embarked on their first official date. She was terrified how the public might react, but continued to tip-toe through the early stages of their relationship. Later that year, things began moving exceedingly fast.

Marriage

Although the couple only met in January of 2017, they got married privately soon after in September of the same year. The following month, they had staged a public proposal for fans during a live performance in Philadelphia. There are still plans being made for an official wedding.

Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been portrayed to be a beautiful, almost-perfect marriage through the media. However, it has certainly faced its ups and downs. Offset was soon involved in a scandal where he was publicly accused of cheating on Cardi B with Celina Powell. She even claimed that he was the father of her unborn child. Fortunately it was later confirmed that it was all a lie. Powell was solely making up rumors to break the couple apart. They have separated more than once, but always seem to come back together for each other and for their family.

Children

On April 7, 2018, Cardi B revealed her pregnancy to the world during her second appearance on Saturday Night Live!. In July of that year she gave birth to her first daughter, Kulture. After facing many obstacles as a couple throughout the next few years, they found each other again and Cardi B announced her second pregnancy with her son, Wave. Together they now have five children. Two of which are biological and the other three which are Offset’s older children from previous relationships. The couple admits that their children are growing up loving the spotlight, and they’re clearly naturals.

Collaborations

Cardi B and Offset have brought their talents together several times in order to create magic. Cardi B’s ”Lick (feat. Offset)” was their first collaboration in 2017 just after they first started dating. The song appeared on Cardi B’s Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2 album, which was later followed by a music video featuring the couple together. They later created and worked together on Migos’s “MotorSport” that year. There was also a 2018 collaboration by Cardi B called “Drip (feat. Migos)”.

The couple has captivated fans their candid bond, both on and off the stage. With Cardi B holding the record for having the most songs with a billion streams on Spotify for a female rapper, and Offset having a Grammy award nomination for best rap performance, the couple is undeniably one of the most influential of the last decade.

Cardi B & Offset’s Super Bowl Commercial For McDonald’s Celebrates Love

Cardi B and Offset’s Super Bowl commercial for McDonald’s was a wholesome and loving affair. Moreover, their signature McDonald’s meal (for two, obviously) will launch on Valentine’s Day. In the commercial, though, they are just one of many couples who talk about sharing and enjoying their food together. Of course, some of them have different takes on sharing fries than others. Still, even in the most stacked advertising night of the year, it’s hard to deny they stood out. Overall, it made for a tender and filling ad with a lot of heart.

During most of the commercial, the couples talk about what their partner wants. For example, Cardi B said that Offset always gets a Quarter Pounder and a Hi-C. “He a simple man,” she said as they sat together at a Mickey D’s table. Moreover, the other couples debated about getting “[partner] points” for letting them eat from their fries. “If it’s mine, it’s hers,” the Migo said. Surely, they’ll enjoy many more McDonald’s meals together, especially now that they have their own. if you’re curious, it comes with a cheeseburger, Quarter Pounder with cheese, and barbecue sauce. Also, you’ll enjoy a large order of fries, an apple pie, the aforementioned large Hi-C, and a large Coke.

Furthermore, Cardi took to Twitter to excitedly gush about the ad. “Y’all saw our commercial? PARAPAPAPA I’m F*ckin him! …The CARDI & Offset meal is coming February 14 at your closest McDonald’s!!!” The fast food giant also had to hop on and give a little promo of their own. “Introducing the Cardi B & Offset meal, coming February 14,” they captioned a picture of them sitting with the bag in front of them. Oh, the McDonald’s bag, not the bag they got for participating in the commercial.

Meanwhile, Cardi B and Offset recently performed during one of the many Super Bowl parties this weekend. While they’ve been dealing with some unfortunate beef as of late, nothing does the trick quite like a shared meal to get their spirits up. Let us know what you think of their ad and stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on the Super Bowl.

Offset Rings In 31st Birthday Alongside Cardi B In Jamaica

Offset is officially 31 years old today (December 14). The rapper isn’t holding back in his celebrations this year.

According to TMZ, the Georgia native enjoyed some fun festivities in commemoration of another year.

Making the trip to Jamaica, the Migos member was spotted with his wifey Cardi B, his sister-in-law Hennessy and a number of family and friends.

In video footage, Offset and crew are seen taking shots, dancing the night away and dining at the Lobster Dave Seafood Restaurant and Sports Bar in Ocho Rios.

It’s certainly nice to see the Migos member smiling and enjoying himself again. In November, he tragically lost his cousin and fellow Migos member, Takeoff. The “Casper” rapper was shot and killed stemming from an altercation at a private event in Houston.

Offset took to Twitter last week, sharing his difficulties in grieving his loss. “In a dark place,” he wrote.

The late Migos member’s first posthumous verse subsequently arrived only a month after his passing. Appearing alongside A$AP Rocky, he contributes to Metro Boomin’s sophomore album, HEROES & VILLAINS with some entertaining alphabet wordplay.

On “Feel The Fiyaaaah,” Take shows off his charisma while adhering to an alphabet rhyme scheme throughout his verse. “Like the letter after A / I bought my b*tch a new C / Then I took her to the D,” he raps, before running through the rest of the alphabet.

Further proving that he was a beloved member of the hip-hop community, 21 Savage also recently reflected on how much he misses the “Casper” rapper.

This came after performing alongside his Her Loss collaborator, Drake, in Atlanta earlier this month. Despite the success of the performance, the world was witness to Savage reflecting on missing his brothers.

“Didn’t even feel right without thug and gunna tonight,” he tweeted in reference to his friends who are currently in jail.

“LL Takeoff And Keed,” he continued.

In memory of Takeoff, leave a comment down below with your favorite song from the most underrated Migos member. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates.
