Britney Spears and will.i.am first collaborated in 2012 for the hit “Scream & Shout.” Earlier this week, the pair teased a new song together, “Mind Your Business,” and it’s coming tomorrow, July 21. To increase anticipation, the Black Eyed Peas frontman discussed the track with CBS Mornings.

“Music is therapy for lots of people; people that make music, people that listen to music,” he said. “Dancing is therapy for lots of people; people that make music, people that listen to music. When you have that connection with music and rhythm and song and melody and harmony and you express yourself through that, it helps you with anything that you’re going through. I see that every time I see her dance on her Instagram, I light up because I see how much she loves music.”

“To collaborate with her now and then, when you’re in the studio and you’re making music, that’s the only thing that matters,” he continued. “So I see the same light, the same joy, the same love and passion.”

He added, “I’ve been a fan, a friend, and a supporter of Britney throughout the years. A supporter as far as someone who goes out and listens to her music, a supporter as far as someone that’s there to help champion her through her times where she was fighting for her liberation. She is an amazing person.”

In late 2012, will.i.am and Britney Spears teamed up for “Scream & Shout,” and it turned out to be a hit: It topped charts around the world and managed a No. 3 peak on the Billboard Hot 100, and just a couple months ago, the song’s video reached a billion views on YouTube. Now, the pair is getting back in the saddle with a new collaboration that’s set to drop today (July 18).

will.i.am and Spears shared a teaser video for “Mind Your Business” yesterday, which starts by looking back at their previous collab with the lyrics, “You are now rockin’ with will.i.am and Britney, b*tch.” It then offers a brief snippet of the new song, which sees Spears singing, “Mind your business, b*tch.” The video notes the song is set to arrive today.

will.i.am all but confirmed the collaboration in a recent interview, saying with a smile, “Yeah, there’s been things in the works, things that we’ve done in the past.” He also noted, “We’ve done cool things together, and I’m so happy that she’s on this new journey and shining. She’s still got hurdles, but you know what, we’re all there to support her.”

Although, since that time, Spears has continued to make some unusual appearances in the public eye. For instance, just last week she found herself beefing with the likes of Victor Wembanyama. This all occurred after she tried to get a picture of him. Originally, she accused his security detail of assaulting her.

Overall, this ended up being proven false. In video footage, Britney Spears went up to Wembanyama and tried to tap his shoulder from behind. Subsequently, a security guard put his arm up, and Spears hit herself in the face. Overall, it was a pretty embarrassing moment that has some fans questioning whether or not she is of sound body and mind. Regardless, she is now taking to Instagram again. This time, however, she is discussing her basketball skills and preconceived notions about her.

This is all illustrated by a video of a young boy playing basketball. This kid actually went viral as some were confused by his celebrations on the court.

Overall, this is all very bizarre. At this point, Victor Wembanyama has completely forgotten the whole thing. He is balling during Summer League and fans want to see where he goes from here. Hopefully, this saga comes to an end, sooner rather than later.

Following an encounter with Britney Spears, the security for Victor Wembanyama will not face charges. Wembanyama is the first overall draft pick for the San Antonio Spurs.

Last week, news of an encounter between the two occurred. According to ESPN, Spears said she tapped the star and was backhanded in response.

The incident happened at the ARIA Hotel and Casino in Vegas. According to TMZ, Spears says she noticed Webmanyama and tapped him on the shoulder, wanting a photo, but was nearly slapped to the floor, and her glasses flew off. Spears wrote on Instagram that the moment was “super embarrassing to share with the world but its out there already.”

“I have yet to get a public apology from the player, his security or their organization,” Spears wrote. “I hope they will …”

Wembanyama stated he had no clue the woman attempting to get his attention was Spears.

“I couldn’t stop. That person was calling me, ‘Sir, sir,’ and that person grabbed me from behind,” Wembanyama said. “I didn’t see what happened because I was walking straight and didn’t stop. That person grabbed me from behind — not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind. I just know the security pushed her away. I don’t know with how much force, but security pushed her away. I didn’t stop to look so I could walk in and enjoy a nice dinner.”

TMZ Sports obtained a police report with details from Spears’ security team stating Wembanyama’s security did not strike the singer with a closed fist and pushed her hand off the player, calling it a “standard response.” Police agreed with the assessment, stating the guard “pushes her hand off of the player without looking, which causes Britney’s hand to hit herself in the face.”

Witness Sheds New Light On Alleged Britney Spears Slap

Earlier today (July 6), TMZ reported that on the evening of July 5, Britney Spears was allegedly slapped in the face by a security guard traveling with NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama. The incident reportedly occurred in Vegas at the Catch restaurant at the ARIA Hotel. Reportedly, Spears spotted Wembanyama, who is in Vegas for the NBA Summer League, and went over to get a picture. She allegedly tapped Wembanyama on the back only for the Spurs’ Director of Team Security to slap her across the face. TMZ alleges that the slap was hard enough to send Spears to the ground and knock her glasses off.

In an additional update, TMZ confirmed that law enforcement is treating the incident “as serious as a heart attack.” Furthermore, contrary to previous updates from the outlet, the case is being treated as a criminal investigation. While that does not guarantee criminal charges for Damian Smith, the alleged slapper, and the Spurs’ Director of Team Security. However, law enforcement also claims that video of the incident, which has not been made public, shows that Smith hit Spears in the hand, not the face.

Witness Provides New Details On Slap Incident

While no footage of the incident has been released, TMZ did share a blurry photo purporting to show Spears moments before she made contact with Wembanyama. Furthermore, the outlet also spoke with a Canadian man named Brian Grajales, who claims to have witnessed the incident firsthand. According to Grajales, Spears “infiltrated” Wembanyama’s inner circle and addressed Wembanyama in a “British accent” before touching his back. That’s when Smith reportedly hit Spears, with Grajales claiming that he saw him make contact with her face. However, he does not recall if she was knocked to the ground, as her team claims. Furthermore, Grajales claims that after Wembanyama was moved inside the restaurant, Spears loudly yelled “This is fucking America” in a British accent. Wembanyana was born and raised in France to a family of Congolese heritage.

The new details are very dramatic, but once again should be treated with caution. It’s one account from an unverified witness that corroborates Spears’ claim while also providing details that play into stereotypes that she is unstable. It’s an almost choreographed twist for a story of this nature. Furthermore, we are still yet to see any actual footage of the incident directly. This is despite TMZ claiming multiple times that such footage does exist. Until the footage emerges, it’s going to be hard to say conclusively what actually happened. Kevin Federline, Sons, May Not Visit Britney Spears Before Hawaii Move

K-Fed is about to move to Hawaii, and he’s taking his sons with him. Their mother, Britney Spears, has not seen any of them in over a year with intention. And now it sounds like Kevin Federline won’t force his kids to go see their mom before the tropical relocation. Sons Sean Preston and Jayden have the choice of saying goodbye to Britney before they jet off to Hawaii in August. As of this writing, they have yet to make a decision.

Kevin Federline is actually encouraging the brothers to go see Britney. But he won’t force them or pressure them into doing something they don’t want to do. According to TMZ, Kevin’s attorney and Britney’s lawyer exchanged a letter where K-Fed was asking Britney permission to move the boys to Hawaii with him and his current wife. In order for them to actually relocate, they needed Britney’s permission, which she gave a few days ahead of an imposed response deadline.

With being allowed to move, this closes what might be the final chapter of the K-Fed and Britney saga. Despite the tumultuous relationship between the parents, they have recently been nothing but supportive of each other. Britney didn’t fight the Hawaii relocation. Kevin Federline recently defended Spears after a Daily Mail report claimed she was on methamphetamines. After allowing the Hawaii move, Spears took to social media to support to her sons, calling her eldest, Sean Preston, “her first love.”

This isn’t the first time Britney has dealt with family dilemmas. She got out of a traumatic conservatorship with her father back in 2021. This was after 13 years of her father abusing his powers as conservator of her estate. She’s also had a falling out with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Her mother implores that she reconcile with Jamie Lynn. Seeing as she allowed her sons and Kevin Federline to move to an island, perhaps she extends the olive branch to her sister as well.

Britney Spears Ex-Husband Says He’ll Take Her To Court Over Kids

Britney Spears is making things hard on her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. He has allegedly set a Friday deadline for Britney’s lawyer to approve his planned relocation. The pop star’s ex plans to move to Hawaii with their two children. If the lawyer fails to give consent, Kevin intends to take the matter to court and seek approval from a judge. That is according to a report from TMZ. Kevin’s attorney has reportedly made multiple requests to Britney’s lawyer. He has asked for written confirmation that Britney is agreeable to the move. However, no response has been received thus far.

The planned move is scheduled for August 1st. Kevin is under pressure to finalize arrangements, including securing a rental property. His wife, Victoria Prince, has received a job offer from a local university’s sports department and needs to commit. Kevin’s lawyer asserts that there should be no issue regarding their two children. The two are now 16 and 17 years old. He claims that Kevin has full legal custody and de facto physical custody. He further notes that Britney has not seen the boys in over a year.
