Ari Lennox Dons A Helmet At Her Show After Bottle-Throwing Incident

Ari Lennox recently learned the hard way that it’s not the best time to be a live performer right now. Moreover, we’ve seen a pretty common trend of concertgoers throwing things at artists for various reasons, of which most of them are quite disruptive or disrespectful. For example, as she opened up for Rod Wave on his tour recently, someone in the crowd threw a water bottle at her, which caused her to pop off on whoever did it quite aggressively– and understandably. However, it seems like the Dreamville singer found a temporary and fashionable security solution to this risk. During her opening set on this tour on Thursday night (November 30) in Oakland, she wore a helmet to protect herself from any serious flinging.

Furthermore, this happened as footage emerged of security confronting the girl who threw the bottle at Ari Lennox. In fact, they hilariously gave the bottle back to her, so perhaps even the strictest of guards keeps things professional where most of us would’ve thrown the bottle away. Regardless, she joked whether she should keep the helmet on, and it seems like her set went swimmingly after that. Not bad for someone who is typically known for bubbly and positive music to go from full-on fronting to playful aloofness.

Regardless, the “Get Close” singer recently acknowledged that these opening concerts have actually been quite difficult for her for a myriad of reasons. For example, she told Angela Yee during an interview that she notices how the crowd is there for Rod Wave’s more melancholy material, whereas she’s there to have a good time. “It’s hard,” Ari Lennox expressed. “It is because I’m opening up for young people and… You know what I realized? I think my music is a little too happy. And I mean no shade, right? But it’s too like, ‘Pressure,’ and his is, like, different. So, I think the people are just like, ‘What the hell is this happy s**t on here?’”

Meanwhile, the Washington, D.C. native is still as great of a performer as ever, and it’s great to see her overcome this with a smile on her face. As difficult as performing is for many artists, it’s also a trial by fire that they can choose to fuel or control. Let’s just hope that she doesn’t have to wear that helmet out of necessity, and perhaps uses it as a style statement. Falling into the latter camp is a girl who threw a bottle at Ari Lennox during her performance as part of Rod Wave’s tour. She popped off on her, and it was one of the more aggressive but still totally understandable responses to incidents like these we’ve seen as of late.

To celebrate his Paris visit, the rapper got on the shoulders of an unspecified man, perhaps a local or just someone traveling with him. Moreover, he had a bottle of champagne and popped it all over the street amid incoming traffic.

Furthermore, his friend didn’t pass up the opportunity, and it was actually Bobby Shmurda who got off, not even waiting until he told him to do so. Before that, though, the man took a couple of swigs from the bottle and seemed to be enjoying himself a lot. The Brooklyn native shouted out another city legend (and the city of Paris itself) with his background music choice for the clip. Chrisean Rock Clarifies She Hit Blueface With “A Glass Cup”

Chrisean Rock says that she didn’t hit Blueface with a bottle of Hennessy, as is being rumored on the internet. Instead, she has clarified that she struck her partner with a “glass cup.”

“It was a glass cup stop trynna play me cuz if I hit him with a henny bottle dat boy wouldn’t be alive…,” she tweeted on Tuesday.

The rumors stemmed from a clip taken from their reality show, Crazy in Love, which went viral on social media. A recent episode shows the damage of the alleged incident.

Chrisean appears to be trying to get glass out of the “Thotiana” rapper’s head.

“I’m getting the glass out,” Chrisean tells him.

“You can’t just rip it like that,” he replies.

“I’m not ripping it, I’m getting it out,” Chrisean responds, before adding, “I’m ’bout to go and get a vacuum. But I didn’t want to be that rough.”

The incident is the latest in a long line of examples of concerning domestic violence in their relationship. In the first episode of Crazy in Love, Blueface got into a physical altercation with Chrisean’s dad. Last month, Chrisean shared a photo of Blueface with two black eyes, which she claimed to have given him.

All the serious moments have caused fans to criticize the airing of Crazy in Love in the first place. Blueface responded to their haters in a post on Twitter, earlier this week.

“I love when I spot a mf who said me [and] rock doing a show was a bad idea but they watching the show full circle,” he wrote.
