Lakers Reportedly Looking To Move On From Patrick Beverley

Over the coming weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers will have a lot to think about. They are a team that needs some new pieces, especially if they want to make the playoffs. Overall, they are 13th in the Western Conference. However, they are just a winning streak away from being a top-five team in the West.

As it stands, the Lakers have a lot of players that they could trade away. They already did so with Kendrick Nunn, and it brought in a nice player in Rui Hachimura. Now, they can go out and seek more trades that could involve players of a higher profile.

Patrick Beverley On The Move?

As it stands, one player that could potentially be traded is none other than Patrick Beverley. Pat Bev is someone who prides himself on his defense. However, he hasn’t been his best this season and it’s not what the Lakers were hoping for. Having said that, it only makes sense that the Lakers would look elsewhere.

“I think that they’re gonna continue to be active looking for guards, basically looking to upgrade their guards, seeing if they can upgrade from Patrick Beverley especially,” Brian Windhorst said on ESPN today. As for guards the Lakers are interested in, Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet seem to be at the top of that list.

The trade deadline will not be easy for the Lakers as numerous teams struggle to work out deals with them. Regardless, fans should rest easy knowing the franchise is at least doing something.

Let us know who you think the Lakers should go out and get, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Kwame Brown Claims He Would Take His Career Over LeBron’s

Kwame Brown is someone who has been roasted quite a bit over the last two decades. As a number one overall pick, he came into the NBA with a ton of weight on his shoulders. Additionally, he was taken by Michael Jordan, which made things harder.

In the end, Brown had a lengthy NBA career, although he was never the star that people hoped he would be. For people like Stephen A. Smith, he has become a punchline and it is going to be difficult for that to ever change. Regardless, Brown seems comfortable in his own skin.

Kwame Brown Speaks

Recently, Kwame Brown was on The Pivot Podcast where he spoke at length about his NBA career. He received some fairly tough questions throughout the interview, however, he handled them very well. He even made some eye-opening comments about his career and how he is compared to someone like LeBron James.

“Being a bust is better,” he said. “LeBron can’t do what I can do.” Some might find this comment to be egregious, although it is important to understand the point that is being made here. As a result of his fame and success, LeBron cannot live like a regular person. However, Brown can leave his house as he pleases while enjoying some sort of normality.

Despite this, many fans will still clown Brown for the statement. At the end of the day, it’s all about what you prioritize in life. Clearly, Brown feels comfortable with where he is, and he would not trade it for the world.

Let us know what you think of Brown’s take, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from the sports world.

Kyrie Irving’s Stance On Returning To Brooklyn Revealed

Kyrie Irving is easily one of the best point guards in the entire league. He has stepped up his play to another level since Kevin Durant’s absence, and overall, the fans in Brooklyn love him. It was looking rocky at the beginning of the year, however, Kyrie has turned the page for the better.

This is a very interesting season for Kyrie since he is a free agent in the summer. There are plenty of teams who want to acquire him, including the Los Angeles Lakers. Although, it seems like Irving has a very obvious preference as to where he wants to be.

Kyrie Has A Plan

According to Bleacher Report, Irving’s agent Shetellia Irving has made it clear as to where Kyrie wants to be. Essentially, Irving wants to remain in Brooklyn for the long haul. He wants to make things work there long-term, and it is up to the Nets to reciprocate this desire.

“Around Kyrie and staying with the Nets? I have reached out to the Nets regarding this,” his agent said. “We have had no significant conversations to date. The desire is to make Brooklyn home, with the right type of extension, which means the ball is in the Nets’ court to communicate now if their desire is the same.”

In the past, the Nets wouldn’t give Kyrie a long-term deal due to his lack of availability. Now, however, Irving has changed that narrative, which could change the minds of the Nets’ front office.

Steph Curry Hits Another Career Milestone

Steph Curry is easily the greatest shooter to ever grace an NBA court. At this point, it is impossible to deny that Curry will likely finish his career as one of the 10 greatest players of all time. Overall, he has four titles to his name and he even has the three-point record.

At this stage in his career, Curry is still looking for more accolades. For instance, he and the Warriors would love to win a fifth NBA title since 2015. However, it is not going to be easy as the team has struggled at times this year. Although last night, they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies.

Steph Curry Shines

During this game, Curry was downright impressive as he scored 34 points. He led all players in points, and it was also a huge night in terms of career milestones. For instance, in the clip down below, you can see Curry scoring his 21,000th point. Surprisingly, it was on a layup and not a three-pointer.

As far as scoring is concerned, he certainly won’t be reaching LeBron’s upcoming record anytime soon. Of course, LeBron is just 158 points away from beating Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. It is likely that James will have over 40,000 points by the end of his historic career.

Curry and LeBron are two players who will forever be intertwined. Had it not been for Curry and his team’s brilliance, LeBron would probably have six or seven rings by now.

Let us know what you think of Curry’s accomplishment, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

LeBron James Restrained After Heckler Makes Fun Of Hairline

After losing to the Los Angeles Clippers 133 to 115 on Wednesday (January 25), a heckler bashed Lakers star LeBron James for his hairline. In fact, LeBron looked quite frustrated in general after 48 points on his end and yet another lost game. Still, it’s no reason for fans to harass him at his games, as it’s the kind of hate that you don’t want to clap back to.

Overall, LeBron is quite used to the heckles and jokes, and he’s answered such jabs with one of the all-time greatest NBA careers. However, it’s a lot easier to mitigate hateful comments online, especially not in your home court. Moreover, an unidentified fan scolded the 38-year-old for his hair.

“Hey, Brown, you better get this s**t together,” they screamed, “with that receding a** hairline!” Upon that phrase, James noticed the fan and stopped in his tracks to address him. However, a referee held him back by beckoning him beyond the court. “Look, he’s mad, look at him! You sick,” he continued before laughing and turning the camera away. What’s more is that people called for him to stop during the clip.

As such, many on social media brought in jokes of their own or called out this toxic behavior. “Not this giggle at the end… sir sit down and eat them nuts,” one user wrote via Instagram. Another commented, “Can ppl come to your job and harass you? Especially after a tough day at work, yall would be ready to scuffle too!” Meanwhile, other people treated it as dirt on LeBron’s shoulder. “If the only problem he has is a hairline s**t life is good!!” one user wrote.

Moreover, the NBA superstar aims to break Kareem Abdul-Jabar’s scoring record for the regular season, and he’s dangerously close. Most recently, however, he commented on his son Bronny’s college aspirations and what team he might land on. Reportedly, he’s between Oregon, USC, and Ohio State.

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to,” LeBron expressed. “All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.”

Still, what do you think of a heckler bothering LeBron James over his hairline? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for more NBA highlights and antics.

Uber Eats Delivery Man Hilariously Interrupts College Game: Watch

Uber Eats has become one of the go-to ways for people to consume food. The app is quite simple. You just make an order at any local restaurant. Subsequently, a delivery driver will pick it up and bring it to you. Overall, it is a massive business that has changed the food business forever.

However, sometimes, the delivery drivers have some issues with finding their intended target. For instance, one Uber Eats driver found his way onto the court during an NCAA game between Duquesne and Loyola Chicago. The entire scene was hilarious as the man wandered onto the court, leading to a stoppage in play.

Uber Eats Driver Steals Show

When you look at the footage down below, you can see just how ridiculous this whole scene was. Everyone was confused, including the driver who just wanted to bring the customer their food. Interestingly enough, the whole thing looked like it could have been an elaborate skit for YouTube.

“This guy’s in the corner — was he going to deliver the McDonald’s to somebody on the court?!” an announcer asked on the broadcast. Clearly, this driver had the whole entire arena confused. One could even liken it to the time when the YouTuber Jidion decided to get a haircut while sitting courtside at an NBA game. Overall, you have to love the creativity.

Even Duquesne’s coach was lost for words. As Keith Dambrot said in the video clip below, “The craziest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.” Most people wouldn’t be caring too much about this game otherwise, however, it has gotten National attention. It also helps that Duquesne won their match by a score of 72-58.

There have been some wild incidents on basketball courts over the years. Although, this particular incident is certainly one of the more interesting. Let us know what you thought about this, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for updates from around the sports world.

Matt Barnes is reportedly being investigated by police over an incident that took place at the 49ers game over the weekend. According to TMZ, Barnes got into it with the ex-husband of his fiancée. David Patterson Jr. is the man in question, and overall, the incident was quite heated.

As reported by TMZ, Barnes is now seeking a temporary restraining order against Patterson Jr. Barnes is adamant that Patterson is the aggressor in this instance, and that he has levied various threats against him. Patterson even allegedly threatened to shoot Barnes.

“I did not want the altercation to physically escalate further, and out of frustration with him seeking me out and his unrelenting repeated harassment I spit in his direction in disgust,” Barnes said. Barnes went on to claim that Patterson has been harassing him online for months. Needless to say, things were coming to a boiling point, and this weekend was an example of that.

Rob Pelinka Reveals Lakers’ Trade Deadline Strategy

Rob Pelinka is someone who has been criticized a lot by Lakers fans. He is the general manager of the team, and aside from their title in 2020, they have been pretty bad. Overall, the team has made some very questionable moves, and Pelinka is largely responsible. Having said that, fans want him to make some redeeming moves.

These moves could most certainly be pulled off around the trade deadline. In fact, the deadline is coming up and the Lakers are seen as buyers. Consequently, they already went out and got an upgrade in Rui Hachimura. That said, fans are still expecting a lot more from Pelinka.

Rob Pelinka Speaks

Recently, according to Clutch Points, Rob Pelinka was asked about the Lakers’ trade deadline strategy. Additionally, reporters were curious as to whether the Lakers would use the two first-round picks that they own in 2027 and 2029. Overall, Pelinka was firm with his answer.

“I think the calculus for the Lakers is to win a championship or not. There’s no in-between or incremental growth. So, as we analyze opportunities, we have to do it through that lens. … If there’s an opportunity to get all the way to the end and win a championship, there’s no resource we’ll hold onto if we feel like that’s there,” Pelinka said. “The completely unwise thing to do would be to shoot a bullet early and then not have it later when you have a better championship move to make. So that’s a really delicate calculus.

“If we see a move that puts us as a frontrunner to get another championship — the 18th one here — we’ll make it. And if that move doesn’t present itself, we’ll be smart and make it at a later time.”

If you are a Lakers fan, this should be some good news. It means that your team actually wants to win, and they will make improvements if they can find some. However, this is no guarantee that a trade gets made.

LeBron James Looked Fed Up On The Lakers Bench Last Night

LeBron James has been carrying the Los Angeles Lakers on his back throughout the entire season. Overall, the Lakers have not been particularly good. However, LeBron has been extremely fun to watch. At 38 years old, he continues to put up some truly incredible stat lines.

For instance, James scored 46 points against the Los Angeles Clippers last night. This was a huge performance, especially since he is only a few games away from breaking the scoring record. With each huge performance, he gets that much closer to toppling Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s longstanding record.

LeBron On The Bench

During the game against the Clippers, it was clear that the Lakers would lose. They just didn’t have enough fire power to keep up, especially with Kawhi Leonard back for the Clippers. Needless to say, it was a rough outing for the Lakers, who could not stay afloat.

Of course, this was very frustrating for LeBron James, who did everything he could to help his team win the game. Furthermore, he had to endure his teammates fighting on the bench. For instance, Russell Westbrook and Dennis Schroder got into it over a turnover. Subsequently, this led to a hilarious clip of LeBron on the bench, where he looked absolutely fed up with everyone around him.

Overall, the Lakers still have a lot of work to do if they want to go to the playoffs. Rui Hachimura should be coming in shortly, while the Lakers are looking to make additional moves by the trade deadline. Hopefully, for LeBron, he can get at least a bit of help so these performances don’t go to waste.
