Rich Paul Breaks Down How He Would Advise Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson’s contract negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens could soon be coming to an end. Jackson has been in a deadlock with the Ravens on how both parties could move forward. However, recent reports are saying that all of the drama in Baltimore could soon be over. But that hasn’t stopped everyone from trying to figure out what the issue is between the Ravens and Jackson. On Thursday, Kay Adams asked sports agent Rich Paul what his thoughts are on the situation.

Paul didn’t want to step on any toes. As Jackson is not officially under the banner of any agent. However, Paul believes there has to be someone behind the scenes pulling all the strings for Jackson. While that person may not want the recognition of being Jackson’s agent. However, Paul believes that someone is helping Jackson make these decisions. But Paul didn’t give away any massive news on how Jackson should handle his situation. Check out the interview between Paul and Adams below.

Lamar Jackson Contract Drama Nearing End

Paul didn’t take a stance on either side. As a potential suitor for Jackson if the QB ever decides on an agent. Paul believes this situation is just like every other athlete’s contract negotiation. The leader of the Klutch Sports Group mentioned that every player’s situation is different. Including how the Ravens and Jackson are feeling during these negotiations. Whatever the case may be, Paul is rooting for the two sides to come together. As Paul seems to be a big of Jackson.

The conversation turned into agent speak. Paul tried his best to not choose a side. However, everyone knows an agent’s best interest will always be with his player. However, the Ravens have a huge decision to make regarding Jackson’s future. If a deal isn’t done, it would be hard to see Jackson showing up for training camp. Baltimore Ravens Extend New Offer To Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens are the latest team looking to keep their franchise QB. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Ravens have sent their star QB an updated roster. This news comes shortly after the announcement that the Philadelphia Eagles made QB Jalen Hurts the highest-paid player in the league. Unfortunately for the Ravens, the Hurts news couldn’t have come at a worse time for the time in their negotiations. It now seems Jackson will have a comparative contract on which to base his wants.

Jackson has been a start in his time in Baltimore. The former Heisman Trophy winner has added the MVP Award to his list of accolades. However, Jackson has yet to see any playoff success. Also, Jackson’s numbers have declined since his 2019 MVP season. Since that season, Jackson has only reached 20 touchdown passes or more just one time. But injuries have also played a role in that statistic. Jackson hasn’t been available for the full season in the past two years. But for Jackson, he doesn’t seem to believe that’s an issue.

Baltimore Ravens Send Jackson Another Offer

Jackson’s injuries have played a huge role in his off-season frustrations. The team’s around the league have been afraid to pull the trigger on inquiring about the superstar QB for that reason. But the Ravens have stated time and time again they have no interest in dealing Jackson. The Ravens recently added star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the roster. A move that almost certainly made Jackson feel better about the future in Baltimore. However, it hasn’t been guaranteed the team will keep him.

Hurts had a memorable season in Philadelphia. The franchise believes with this past season’s success, they can build even more success. However, the Ravens and Jackson seem to be in a stalemate with so many moving parts involved. But one has to wonder that if Jackson had an agent, he could be in Hurts’ shoes right now. Will the Baltimore Ravens and Jackson come to an agreement? Or will Hurts’ deal become the straw that breaks the break between the two? For the latest NFL news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Odell Beckham Jr. Gets Big Legal Victory

Odell Beckham now has another reason to celebrate. The star receiver recently signed a deal to rejoin the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens. At the same time, Beckham can celebrate a legal victory. According to TMZ, Beckham can now move forward with his case against Nike. Nike requested the case be tossed out. However, a judge has ruled that the case can move forward. The judge’s decision is massive news for Beckham and his legal team.

According to the report, Beckham is accusing the brand of not paying him millions of dollars that he claims he deserves. Earlier when the case was filed, Beckham issued a statement on the situation at the time of the case being filed. “Unfortunately, Nike did not honor its commitments. Throughout our partnership, I have kept my promise and fulfilled my obligations to the brand. I am extremely disappointed that I’ve had to take these measures to ensure Nike fulfills their obligations and promises.” The judge not dismissing is a huge step in the right direction for Beckham and his legal team. But it doesn’t mean the fight is over.

Odell Beckham-Nike Court Case Moving Forward

However, fighting a brand giant like Nike might not end well. But for now, Beckham can celebrate the potential chance of getting what he allegedly is owed by the company. Beckham claims the company owes him $20 million. Obviously, anyone who is expecting that much money would fight for justice. Nike’s alleged reasoning for not paying Beckham is that the NFL star violated footwear and glove regulations made by the company.

Beckham has had a big month in terms of his professional life. His recent signing in Baltimore has already sparked talk of a dangerous duo. If the Ravens can bring back frustrated QB Lamar Jackson, the two could be an unstoppable force in the NFL. Although, it has been over a year since Odell Beckham took a snap on a football field. However, the former Pro Bowler is expected to be at 100% at the start of training camp. For the latest news regarding the NFL, stay locked in right here at HNHH.

Odell Beckham Jr. Sends Message To Lamar Jackson

Odell Beckham Jr.’s recent signing with the Baltimore Ravens had fans giddy. A lot of Ravens fans believed the signing all but promised the return of quarterback Lamar Jackson. However, that doesn’t seem to be the exact question. Beckham was recently asked if he knew what Jackson’s future holds. The newest Ravens receiver doesn’t have the answer. But he does want Jackson to know that he would love the opportunity to link up on the football field.

“Lamar, if you’re listening, I’d love to get to work with you,” Beckham said. Beckham’s comments were heard by the media during the star’s first appearance in Baltimore. Jackson voiced his happiness at the Ravens signing of Beckham over Twitter. In the past, Jackson has had some frustrations with the organization over the handling of the receiver position. The Ravens have not drafted one Pro Bowl in the organization’s history. Adding Beckham to the offense would for sure put confidence in Jackson’s trust in the franchise.

Odell Beckham Hopes To Share Field With Jackson

However, even with Beckham’s talent, there are still questions. For one, is Beckham going to be healthy this upcoming season? Beckham was last seen during the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl victory back in 2022. The star receiver was on pace to have a monster game. Potentially making a solid case for Super Bowl MVP. However, a freak knee injury ended Beckham’s. Also, the injury sidelined Beckham for the entire 2022-23 season. Having the receiver in full health will be vital to the team’s success.

With everything thrown his way, it seems Odell Beckham is ready to join the Ravens. The former LSU Tiger should already be familiar with the AFC North. Beckham spent a short stint with the Cleveland Browns. However, injuries and distrust within the organization made Beckham’s time in Cleveland one to forget. But now is the time for a fresh start. Obviously, getting the chance to play with Lamar Jackson could change the entire trajectory of the receiver’s career. However, will Jackson be suiting up for Baltimore this fall? Marcus Spears Believes OBJ Can Be The Guy In Baltimore

Marcus Spears is a staple of ESPN’s football media personalities. On Monday, the former LSU Tiger gave his thoughts on the Baltimore Ravens’ recent signing of Odell Beckham Jr. Spears believes the Ravens have a potential return of a superstar on their hands. However, that statement is only good under one condition. That condition being that OBJ can stay healthy during his time in Baltimore. Health has been the biggest issue for OBJ in recent years. However, that didn’t stop the Ravens from attempting to resurrect his career.

“If he stays healthy … this could be magic.” Spears has a great point on OBJ’s potential success with the Ravens. The latest time the star receiver was in action, he was on pace to be the Super Bowl MVP for the Los Angeles Rams. However, a knee injury took away that chance and sidelined Beckham for the entire 2022 season. Beckham has only appeared in 16 games just two times in his eight-year career. A number that doesn’t resonate with the Ravens guaranteeing the former Ram fifteen million dollars. But Beckham’s signing could be more than just bringing in a big name at receiver.

Marcus Spears Still Believes In Beckham’s Talent

Beckham’s signing could potentially be a gesture of goodwill toward the team’s frustrated QB, Lamar Jackson. Spears included that this duo could be the best the Ravens have seen since Jackson’s career started. However, Jackson has seemingly made his feelings known that he wants out of Baltimore. But the Ravens are not seeing it that way. Spears even mentioned that with Jackson, Beckham could become the first Pro-Bowl receiver the Ravens have had with Jackson on the roster. Hence why Beckham’s availability will be vital to the team’s success.

The Ravens have made a splash. Specifically with a position that they have seemingly neglected in the past few seasons. Now the future could be bright for the Ravens. However, they must bring back their former MVP QB. An issue that is easier said than done. Does Marcus Spears have a point about Beckham’s talent? Will Beckham stay healthy for an entire season? These questions will not be answered for quite some time. However, we’d love to see your thoughts on Beckham in Baltimore in the comment section. Ravens GM Makes Shocking Draft Statement

One of the biggest questions about the 2023 NFL season is who will be lining up under center for the Baltimore Ravens. It is appearing more and more likely that Lamar Jackson will not be QB1 in Baltimore, especially after revealing he had requested a trade. However, while Jackson must operate within the confines of the non-exclusive franchise tag the Ravens placed on him, the official stance of the team is that Jackson was their QB1 going forwards.

However, that all appears to have changed thanks to a statement from Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta. It’s no secret that 2023 features a stacked draft class at quarterback. Many experts predict that four quarterbacks will be picked in the top 10, if not the top 5. However, the positional class extends beyond the likes of C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson. Players like Hendon Hooker, Tanner McKee, Max Duggan, and Stetson Bennett are all viewed as early-to-mid-round picks. But DeCosta’s comments to the media on Wednesday may have completely changed the draft.

Ravens Not Afraid To Take QB

The Ravens’ pre-draft press conference on Wednesday afternoon was a tale of two stories. While the team representatives refused to answer any direct questions about Lamar Jackson’s status with the team, GM Eric DeCosta did give one eye-opening answer when asked if the Ravens would consider going quarterback in the first round. “It depends on the board, it really does,” DeCosta said. “I mean, I’d have to say yes because we have quarterbacks in our top 31. So just based on that alone, simple math, I would have to say yes.”

However, Ravens fans should not take DeCosta’s admission as a concrete sign that the team is moving on from Lamar. The Ravens hold the 22nd pick in the first round and just five picks across the entire draft. That does not give them a lot of capital to trade up with if they wanted to aggressively pursue the quarterback position. Furthermore, DeCosta also highlighted both wide receivers and cornerbacks, both positions of need for the Ravens, as potential targets. “You know us…we love corners” DeCosta said. But with the team going on record to say that quarterback is not off the table, the Lamar Jackson saga is seemingly far from over.

Lamar Jackson Reportedly Seeking Contract Similar To This NFL QB

Lamar Jackson’s contract dispute with the Ravens continues to grow. With more news breaking daily on the matter, the situation may soon reach a boiling point. Obviously, the biggest disagreement between the two is money. Jackson sees his worth as far more than what the Ravens have allegedly offered. While both sides continue to figure out a resolution, more reports are coming out on Jackson’s potential compensation.

According to Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano of ESPN, “The issue so far in contract talks, I am told, is that Jackson is insisting on getting more fully guaranteed money than the $230 million Deshaun Watson got in his deal with the Browns. After my conversations in Phoenix, I no longer believe Jackson was insisting that his deal be fully guaranteed — just that the guaranteed portion of it be larger than Watson’s.”

Lamar Jackson Making Contract Demands Known

Jackson asking for a guarantee that is larger than Deshaun Watson’s makes sense. The Cleveland Browns offered Watson the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history. However, the contract came at a bizarre time, with Watson missing two straight seasons. Watson also hasn’t achieved nearly the accolades that Jackson has earned in his career. The Browns deal with Watson could be the reason Jackson isn’t under center in Baltimore. The Watson deal also has set the bar for every future QB deal. However, the deal has yet to show a positive for the Browns. Watson looked rather rusty last season after his suspension.

The contract situation between the two parties is evolving by the hour. While the Ravens hope to work things out. Jackson is looking for the respect he believes he deserves. With an entire summer left before the regular season, this story could be a long one. Where do you stand on the Jackson contract saga? Has Lamar earned what he is asking for? Are the Ravens making a mistake by letting this drag on? Feel free to let us know your thoughts on the situation in the comment section below. Ravens Attempted To Sign This Former Number One Pick

The Baltimore Ravens have had a busy off-season with starting QB Lamar Jackson essentially seeking a trade. The Ravens have been seeking a plan B. One of those plans being a former number-one overall pick. NBC Sports has reported that Baker Mayfield was offered a contract by Baltimore. Obviously, Mayfield turned down the contract, as the sixth-year QB is now in Tampa Bay. However, knowing the Ravens offered could mean the team is worried about Jackson returning.

Mayfield spent the 2022 season in two different cities. The former Cleveland Brown opened the season in Carolina. Then, after Matthew Stafford’s injury, the Rams made a deal to bring Mayfield to Los Angeles. Mayfield has yet to live up to being a number one overall pick. The former Oklahoma Sooner hasn’t thrown for 20 touchdowns in one season of his career. Indeed, he wouldn’t be the answer the Ravens are looking for if Jackson were to exit. However, he was still a steady option at the time.

Baker Mayfield Turns Down Ravens

If you were to put yourself in Baker Mayfield’s shoes, you can see why he made the decision he did. In Tampa, Mayfield has a great shot at becoming the starting QB. In Baltimore, the starting job would be in limbo. Especially if Lamar were to return to the team. Mayfield still believes he can be a number one option, as he should. No one should be playing in the league if they don’t believe they should be playing. However, it has to feel good if you’re a Cleveland fan. Nobody would want to see an old QB in their division.

It seems as if the Ravens are keeping their options open with a QB. Mayfield turned down the opportunity, but who is left? The Ravens current backup is Tyler Huntley. The team was impressed with his play in Jackson’s absence last season. However, it will be extremely difficult to fill the void of losing Jackson. What should the Ravens do at QB? Please drop a comment below and give us your best GM idea. For more news on the NFL and the Baltimore Ravens, stay locked in with us at HNHH.

Patriots Reveal Whether Or Not They Will Pursue Lamar Jackson

The New England Patriots are the latest team to announce they will not pursue Lamar Jackson. Since Jackson tweeted his displeasure with the Ravens, many teams have been asked about the former MVP joining their roster. No team has publicly stated their pursuit of Jackson, and if you ask the Ravens, they’re not interested in listening. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh hopes Jackson will be his quarterback this Fall. However, Jackson seems to be looking for greener pastures.

On paper, the Patriots seem like an obvious choice for a landing spot for Jackson. With Mac Jones not meeting expectations and Billy Zappe being unproven, Jackson would instantly be the starter in New England. Even rapper Meek Mill reached out to Patriots owner Robert Kraft to discuss Jackson in New England. However, the price for Jackson may be too steep for a team who isn’t ready to cut ties with their QB, said Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

Lamar Jackson Wants Out Of Baltimore

In a string of Tweets on Monday, Jackson publically announced the worst secret in sports. The Ravens QB admitted that he requested a trade on March 2nd. Furthermore, Jackson stated the Ravens have shown no interest in his request. Jackson is of the belief that the franchise doesn’t value him as a player. A trade for Jackson would potentially be a heavy return for the Ravens. The only problem is no one seems to be taking the bait. Which is strange for a former MVP of the league.

Jackson had injury issues even as recently as last season. The former Pro Bowl QB has only played 12 games in each of his last two seasons. The fear of injury could be turning teams off to the idea of adding such an expensive piece. However, the risk could be worth the reward if Jackson returns to his 2019 form. Will a team make the jump for Lamar? Will Lamar ever be the guy from 2019 again? So many questions are left to be answered. Please give us your thoughts in the comment section below. Be sure to check out other pieces from the team here at HNHH.

Lamar Jackson Responds To Questions About His Character

Lamar Jackson is currently the biggest story in the entire NFL. Overall, this isn’t exactly for the right reasons. There has been a lot of chatter when it comes to his situation with the Baltimore Ravens. Although he is a former MVP, the team does not want to pay him what you would imagine is a fair salary. Moreover, Jackson recently came out and announced that he had requested a trade earlier in the month. This is a whirlwind time for himself and the Ravens which is likely to end in a not-so-productive manner.

Additionally, there are now some people out there who are trying to say that Jackson has a bad attitude. His character is being questioned, and it’s not exactly fair. Just like any other player, he is trying to get the best deal possible. Based on his play, it is clear that he deserves it. However, the Ravens are messing about in a way that is making it difficult for Jackson to trust them again. While taking to Twitter yesterday, Jackson defended himself from some of the chatter. Simply put, his goal has always been to win a Super Bowl.

Lamar Jackson Speaks

“I don’t remember me sitting out on my guys week 1 vs jets To week 12 vs Broncos,” Jackson wrote. “How come all of a sudden I sit out because of money in which I could’ve got hurt at anytime within that time frame. When we know the Super Bowl been on my mind since April 2018. Let’s get real. I rather have a 100% PCL than go out there and play horrible forcing myself to put my guys in a bad situation now that’s selfish to me.”

Jackson is certainly correct here. That said, his injury history has proven to be detrimental to his contract hopes. However, he is still much better than the $32 million per year price tag that has been thrust upon him. Hopefully, this situation gets resolved sooner rather than later. Let us know what you think is going to happen, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from the sports world.
