Rihanna & ASAP Rocky’s Baby Name Unveiled, Fans Are Split

Last month, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their second child. Fans have been eagerly-awaiting the reveal of the baby’s name, and they were finally given their answer this morning. According to The Blast, the power couple decided to name the child Riot Rose Mayers. The rapper just dropped a song called “RIOT” earlier in the summer, and fans seem to appreciate the apparent reference.

Their first child, who they welcomed in May of 2022, is named after Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA. It looks like the couple has continued their theme of keeping their children’s names hip hop-related in some way. They’ve also stayed true to their family’s running theme of all their names starting with the letter R. The couple has yet to comment on their child’s name, but as expected, social media users have. By the looks of things, users are split. Some are digging the edgy and unique name, while others don’t like the connotations the word carries.

Despite getting some criticism for the reported baby name, the pair appear to be doing better than ever since the child’s arrival. According to reports, the songstress had always wanted a second child. “Rihanna feels her family is now complete,” a source told PEOPLE at the end of last month. “It’s something she’s always wanted.”

Immediately after the baby was born, people online started to speculate about what the name could be. TMZ was able to catch up with ASAP Rocky in August, who told fans fans that the baby name reveal was “coming soon.” This only managed to spark more rumors, and early on fans suspected the name would start with an R. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, and share your thoughts on their baby’s name down below.

ASAP Rocky Says His Second Child With Rihanna’s Name Will Be Revealed Soon

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna recently welcomed their second child, another son, into the world, and fans are already speculating on the little one’s name. If you recall, it took general audiences a full year to find out their first kid’s name, honoring the Wu-Tang legend RZA. However, at least from what a TMZ paparazzi captured, it seems like we might not have to wait that long to find out baby number two’s name. Moreover, the pap caught up with him on a night out in West Hollywood on Wednesday (August 23) and asked him for his new bundle of joy’s name. The New York MC simply replied with “Coming soon!” with a wide smile, so maybe they’re taking a different approach to reveals this time around.

Furthermore, at least we already know of a certain pattern that the family seems to follow. ASAP Rocky’s real name is Rakim, a tribute to the pioneering hip-hop icon, and Rihanna’s real name is Robyn. RZA is also named after a genre star and starts with “R,” so people took to social media to speculate and try to guess what the next one could be. Reggie for Redman, perhaps, or Rick of Slick fame… never before have people been so dead-set on scrolling through a “rappers whose names start with ‘R’” list.

Regardless of that speculation, there’s still plenty of rumors and reports to chew on besides the baby’s name. For example, a new PEOPLE report suggested that, according to an alleged insider, Rihanna feels her family is “complete” after her second child’s birth. Her and Rocky must be so busy with their careers and endeavors, and that might influence that feeling of satisfaction with two young kids on your hands. Still, the couple hasn’t shared anything about their little miracle yet, so any comments on it are purely speculative at this point.

Meanwhile, with both looking forward to album releases (hopefully dropping soon), we’ll see how parenthood impacts their lyricism and style. The A$AP Mob spitter is closer to that finish line than RiRi is, at least as of writing this article, but things could change quite fast. All we can do is sit, wait, and wish the power couple well in their family life. For more news and the latest updates on ASAP Rocky and Rihanna, come back to HNHH.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky’s Son Has Had “A Few Names,” Her Father Ronald Fenty Reveals

As his daughter prepares to shine bright like a diamond on the Super Bowl Halftime show stage, Ronald Fenty couldn’t be more proud of Rihanna. The two have had an undeniably troubled relationship in the past. Now, however, they seem to have put their differences aside. Ahead of tomorrow’s big show, the singer’s father spoke with Page Six about the excitement brewing in the air.

“Everybody is saying that football is just opening up for her — it’s the Rihanna show,” the Barbadian joked. “It’s the moment that everybody has been waiting for.” As a father, he’s obviously biased, but he’s certainly not wrong. Everyone from Adele to H.E.R. has made it known that football will be taking a back seat to the mother of one’s performance.

Surprisingly, Fenty couldn’t get his hands on tickets to the Super Bowl. Still, that won’t stop him from showing his support for the ANTI hitmaker. He and two friends reportedly flew from Barbados to Las Vegas yesterday, where they picked up a Winnebago to rent. “The hotels are outrageous prices,” Rihanna’s dad said. “Oh my gosh, they’re like $1,600 a night!”

From Sin City, the proud papa and his crew will drive nearly five hours to Glendale, Arizona. The Bad Gal has reportedly been staying at a private home in Paradise Hills. She’s markedly been rehearsing non-stop for her highly anticipated return to the stage. In a press conference earlier this week, Rih teased that her show in 13 minutes of action that audiences will hopefully love.

Elsewhere in his chat with Page Six, Fenty spoke about his new role as a grandfather, revealing that his daughter is a “very overprotective mother.” The outlet made sure to ask him about the young boy‘s name, which his parents are keeping secret. It seems it’s going to stay that way, though Ronald did confirm that Rihanna has tried out “a few names,” but isn’t ready to share her choice just yet. “She’ll have my head if I tell you!” her dad joked.

Along with the Super Bowl show, it’s rumoured that the 34-year-old could be hitting the road for a worldwide tour soon. Nothing has been officially confirmed just yet, but the last time she hit the road was in 2016. Since then, the Navy has been desperately begging to hear more music from the new mother ASAP.

Of course, Rihanna hasn’t left the world without anything during her musical hiatus. She spends plenty of time working on Savage x Fenty, as well as her Fenty Beauty and Skin lines. Additionally, the multi-talent earned her first Oscar for one of the two songs she contributed to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. Twitter Clowns Nick Cannon Over Baby No. 10’s Name

Just weeks after welcoming his first child with model Bre Tiesi and another with LaNisha Cole, 41-year-old Nick Cannon was excited to share the news of his and Brittany Bell’s third child together‘s birth on Friday (September 30).

As is tradition whenever one of the women in the California native’s life welcomes a baby with him, social media is running rampant with those offering up their critiques of his parenting and life decisions.

Now that he’s a father of 10 (with more confirmed on the way), Cannon has gotten to be quite experienced at crafting names for his children, but Twitter users don’t seem to be impressed with the entertainer’s incredibly unique choices – particularly the moniker given to his youngest, Rise Messiah Cannon.

“Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable,” The Masked Singer host wrote with his announcement yesterday.

Aside from Rise, Bell and Cannon are also parents to 5-year-old Golden Sagon and nearly 2-year-old Powerful Queen.

Children the recording artist shares with other women include Moroccan, Monroe, Zion, Zillion, Legendary, Onyx, as well as the late Zen, who passed away after a battle with brain cancer last year.

“What kind of Mad Libs generator are they using to come up with these names?” one Twitter user pondered. Another added, “It’s clear that in order to have a baby with Nick Cannon the women have to agree to let him name them all these hotep ass names.”
