Award-winning producer Metro Boomin and multi-platinum rapper Coi Leray unveil an exciting collaboration with leading men’s grooming brand, AXE…a brand new track. 

The dynamic duo have joined forces to show the power that scent plays in deepening attraction with the release of “Enjoy Yourself”, exclusively available on YouTube.

The debut of the track coincides with the release of AXE’s new Black Vanilla scent, the latest in the Fine Fragrance Collection lineup that launched last year, and includes award-winning scents Blue Lavender and Green Geranium. The Black Vanilla fragrance is light and subtle, yet deliciously addictive for that moment where you want someone craving more.

Today, AXE® and award-winning rap artist, Lil Baby, premiere their new campaign “The Fine Fragrance G.O.A.T.” The campaign celebrates the launch of the AXE Fine Fragrance Collection, a set of five fresh new scents formulated by world-renowned fragrance experts. This campaign is the latest in an ongoing brand effort to redefine “premium” with a gen-Z lens and pushes hard against the outdated luxury symbols of the fragrance world.

Set to the tune of Lil Baby’s smash hit “Drip Too Hard,” the new spot aims to cement AXE as the Fine Fragrance G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time). The new creative is directed by SNL short director Mike Diva, who is a frequent collaborator with several high-profile hip-hop artists.

The spot unveils a four-armed and flying Lil Baby alongside the newest AXE icon, the G.O.A.T. head, and new Fine Fragrance scents. The spot itself is dripping with surreal AXE energy -bringing the boost in confidence that AXE gives millions of guys to life with vibrant, dreamlike animation that pops off the screen.

Lil Baby Stars In Animated Digital With AXE Scents

Three-Episode Anime Content Documents Some of Lil Baby’s Most Emblematic Memories Inspired by Scents From the No 1. Men’s Grooming Brand

Today, AXE® premieres a series of animated digital vignettes starring award-winning artist, Lil Baby. Featuring three episodes in total, each piece takes fans on a fragrance-led journey through some of the rapper’s most distinct memories associated with iconic AXE scents. Drawing inspiration from some of Lil Baby’s favorite childhood animated series, as well as Japanese anime, each story is depicted through vibrant animation that feels straight out of a comic book.

Smell is said to be the strongest sense associated with memory and recollection, and has the ability to trigger vivid autobiographical memories. Here, we see this coming to life with each episode opening with Lil Baby sharing thoughts on the Apollo, Cool Ocean and Phoenix AXE fragrances, leading to him reminiscing on unique memories associated with each scent.

“I’ve always been a big fan of anime,” said award-winning artist, Lil Baby. “So having AXE turn some of my intimate memories and thoughts into an animated mini-series is kind of surreal, and I hope fans enjoy it as much as I did.”  

Lil Baby takes fans on a scent-inspired journey through some of his most personal memories, showcasing the rapper like never before – touching on his first performance, his ambitious mindset at an early age, and his transition from budding rap artist to mogul. Intertwined throughout most of Lil Baby’s stories is the power of fragrance and the impact it has on his superstar persona and self confidence.

Each episode features traditional character animation, 2D motion graphics and countless unique background designs combined while referencing footage from Lil Baby’s biographical documentary to create an authentic likeness.
