Kanye West’s Italy stay over the past few weeks have been nothing if not eventful- and simultaneously quotidian. After all, a lot of the antics and public situation he’s found himself in mixed the normal with the bizarre to varying results. For example, he and his wife Bianca Censori recently received a lifetime ban from a boating company in Venice for allegedly engaging in oral sex during their trip on one of their riverboats. Other than that, it’s been marked with a lot of wild fits from both that drew a lot of controversy among the general public and Italian citizens in particular. All that said, it seems like the Chicago artist is far from done with doing everyday things in a uniquely strange way.

Moreover, a video recently surfaced online of Ye seemingly attending two strangers’ wedding in Italy. They have a short chat before posing for a picture, but it looks more like a skit or an odd coincidence of sorts. Not only is the connection here unknown, but we don’t even know for sure that it’s Kanye West who went to this random union. That’s because, draped in dark black cloth and fashion pieces, the 46-year-old is as covered-up as ever.

However, perhaps the most important development from his Italy trips that are both routine and noteworthy is that he’s reportedly working on a new album. Ty Dolla $ign, KayCyy, and a few other notable music figures have apparently flown out to work with Kanye West for his next effort. There’s no hard news on it as of writing this article, but reports, speculation, and over-analyzed pictures lit the Internet up once again. This is far from new, though: how many times have promises of new Yeezy material disappeared in the past?

Meanwhile, this will be a very conflicting process (if a new album actually drops) thanks to Kanye’s controversies. Many seemed to forget of his antisemitic remarks and generally worrisome behavior in favor of more music. Anything’s fair game with him, but our guess is that a 2023 project wouldn’t do much to change or improve this narrative. Snoop Dogg’s Houston Concert Attendees Suffer Heat Illnesses, In Stable Condition

A recent show in Houston held by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa unfortunately turned hectic as the weather proved to be more impactful than expected. Moreover, as temperature reached triple digits in Fahrenheit, 16 attendees at Saturday’s show (August 19) went to the hospital. Specifically, this was due to heat-related illnesses, although according to HipHopDX, no one sustained serious injures and the medical facility discharged them all after recovery. Before this, the Atascocita Fire Department informed social media that they would respond to affected concert-goers amid the intense heat.

“Atascocita First Responders and the @SETRAC_TX AMBUS (MPV601) headed to the Woodlands Pavilion to assist with overheated concert attendees at the @SnoopDogg concert,” they tweeted. “We got your back Snoop!” Furthermore, it seems like this response was as swift as necessary and possible, and it likely prevented this from becoming a larger problem. Unfortunately, weather will always impact concerts, especially outside ones, and it’s something that many artists and fans might not think about all the time. Hopefully future shows from Tha Doggfather don’t suffer this conditions or at least have the mechanisms for another quick response like this.

Snoop Dogg Gets Support From Local Fire Department

However, this adds to an unfortunate string of bad luck for Snoop Dogg when it comes to live shows. Still, this is for the right reasons, so there’s at least something to take away. The legendary West Coast rapper canceled his dates at the Hollywood Bowl with Dr. Dre as a way of showing solidarity with the writer’s strike. “We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing strike and the uncertainty when this will be over, we need to cancel the Hollywood Bowl show,” he announced via Instagram.

“We stand in solidarity with all of our brothers and sisters in the WGA and SAG-AFTRA during this difficult time and remain hopeful that the AMPTP will come back to the negotiating table with a REAL proposal and we can all get back to work,” it concluded. Reactions to this were somewhat split, but mostly appreciative and understanding of the Long Beach MC’s decision. There are larger fights to tackle than tour profit, and fortunately these heat conditions weren’t overshadowed by the live performance. Offset & Quavo Attend NBA Game Separately

Quavo and Offset both went to watch the Atlanta Hawks game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday (March 3), but sat separately. Of course, this reflects the two’s falling out, which affected the Migos since last year amid Quavo and Takeoff forming their own duo. Moreover, both went to the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and it looks like they sat courtside in different sections. Furthermore, the most recent chapter in Migos’ saga was Quavo’s track “Greatness,” in which he suggested the group would be no more.

Unfortunately, any issues within the group fell under the shadow of Takeoff’s tragic loss last November. In the months following his death, many close to the late rapper including his group co-members embroiled in back-and-forth fights surrounding his passing. For example, Offset got into a spat with J. Prince over loyalty, accusations of leaking information, and how they handled the loss. While the group’s conflicts defined the final stages of their career, it’s unfortunate that these wounds seem harder to heal than ever. In fact, some reports indicate that the two surviving members of the legendary rap crew confronted each other face-to-face about Takeoff’s absence.

Still, alleged audio leaked of Cardi B, wife of Offset, trying to break the two apart during their reported spat.

Meanwhile, Offset’s probably busy handling backlash from McDonald’s franchises refusing to promote his Cardi B combo meal. Various locations said that there values do not align with those of the two artists, which in itself caught a lot of flack online. On the other hand, Quavo’s remained relatively quiet beyond the aforementioned track “Greatness” and his tributes to his fallen nephew.
