Charleston White Accepts Diddy’s Apology, Doesn’t Think He Deserves Jail Time

Charleston White doesn’t understand why fans are calling for Diddy to face criminal charges after CNN published footage of him appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel back in 2016. Discussing his apology on social media, White accepted what he had to say about going to therapy and bettering himself.

In one post, he argued that Cassie stayed with Diddy for years without leaving. “If I’m spending all that money on you, don’t tell me what I do to you,” he said. In a later video, he added: “She wanted some money. Obviously, she didn’t want Puffy to go jail. Why are y’all wishin’ jail on Puffy? Not one time did that girl call the police on P. Diddy, Sean Combs, Brother Love. Not one time. I know a lot of relationships, all they do is fight and f**k, f**k and fight. Sometimes I know a n***a get in a relationship so long n***as start a good fight so we can do some good f**kin’ and after the n***a get tired of good f**kin’ the other n***a go back to doing some good fightin’.”

So all I’m sayin’ is, n***a you ain’t never had a billion dollars. Ain’t no tellin’ how I might treat my b***h if I get a billion dollars, n***a, please. The f**k is you talkin’ about? Kim Porter’s Alleged Friend, Kola Boof, Clarifies She’s On Cassie’s Side Amid Backlash For Threatening To “Obliterate” Her

Kola Boof, who was allegedly a friend of Kim Porter, has come forward to clarify that she’s on Cassie’s side after facing backlash for a controversial post she made earlier in the week. She had threatened to “obliterate” Cassie if she tried to silence her comments on Porter after claiming that her late friend was also a victim of Diddy’s alleged abuse. The drama comes after CNN published footage of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016. The Bad Boy mogul has since released an apology video.

“CASSIE ‘fans’ are the ones making it into something that I did not say,” Kola Boof wrote on Twitter. “We’re ALLL on Cassie’s side. Nobody’s against Cassie. But the truth of what KIM PORTER went through will be spoken. And I WILL SPEAK IT!!!!”

As for her original post, Kola Boof had written: “My heart goes out to CASSIE. The abuse she’s endured is horrible. I hope she gets more victories against Diddy. But if she tries to sue me for speaking up for KIM PORTER–I will obliterate her. Point blank. And that goes for DIDDY too. I’m here for Kim.” While going back and forth with users in the replies, she claimed that Cassie’s lawyers have already reached out to her. Check out her latest post on the matter below.

Candace Owens Calls On Diddy To “Name Names” In Response To Apology Video

Candace Owens says she’s not willing to forgive Diddy until he reveals who “is operating the ring in Hollywood” and called on him to “name names” in a post on Twitter, on Sunday. She provided the only circumstance in which she’d be down to “sweep a lot under the rug” while sharing the apology video Diddy made in regard to CNN publishing footage of him appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016. Owens’ post made several more allegations about the Bad Boy mogul.

“Great to hear you’re sorry, Diddy,” she began. “Now do Biggie, plus the guy you allegedly shot in that bathroom, plus Kid Cudi’s car you allegedly blew up: And whoever you were allegedly shooting at in the nightclub with J-Lo. For starters.” In a follow-up, she added: “I’d be willing to sweep a lot under the rug if you did the first courageous thing in your life and named exactly who is operating the ring in Hollywood. Name names.”

My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. Diddy Smokes Cigar In Miami After Apologizing For Cassie Assault

On Friday, CNN exclusively obtained disturbing security footage of Diddy seemingly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway. The footage has since been circulating on social media, with countless viewers weighing in. It appears to corroborate some of the allegations Cassie made against Diddy in her now-settled lawsuit. The LA D.A.’s Office claims the incident took place “beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”

Regardless, the Bad Boy Records founder has a lot of eyes on him right now and has stayed silent on the matter until today. In a video shared on Instagram, he issued an apology for his behavior, though most commenters refuse to accept it. Moreover, he didn’t mention Cassie at all, which many took issue with.

Diddy Spotted For The First Time Since Assault Footage Went Public

He’s since been spotted going for a relaxing stroll through his neighborhood in Miami, smoking a cigar. He looked pretty solemn, though he didn’t say much, simply giving photographers a thumbs-up when asked how he was doing. Diddy later made an “L” with his hand and said “Love.” This is the first time he’s been seen out and about since the footage went public. We’re not permitted to post the images/video directly on HotNewHipHop, but if you’d like to see them, you can do so by clicking the Via link below.

Diddy hasn’t said anything else since releasing his apology, but Cassie’s lawyer Meredith Firetog has. “Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” she wrote. “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.” What do you think of Diddy looking solemn on a stroll through his Miami neighborhood as the footage of him allegedly assaulting Cassie continues to circulate? Cassie’s Lawyer Calls Out Diddy For “Pathetic” Apology Video

Cassie’s lawyer, Meredith Firetog, reacted to Diddy’s apology in a statement provided to Deadline on Sunday. In doing so, she remarked that the video he shared reeks of “pathetic desperation” and his comments are “disingenuous.” The drama began when CNN published footage of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016. He dropped the apology video two days later on Sunday.

“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” Firetog wrote. “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”

“No Diddy” Trends As Social Media Users Don’t Accept Mogul’s Apology

Late last week, CNN released exclusive footage of Diddy and Cassie at a hotel in 2016, which has since gone viral. The disturbing video has been making its rounds online, with many calling it the smoking gun fans needed to convince them of his guilt. In the footage, the Bad Boy Records founder is seen pulling the singer to the ground, kicking her, and trying to drag her back to his room. He also throws what appears to be a glass vase at her.

For those who don’t recall, Cassie sued Diddy in November of last year, accusing him of sexual assault, physical abuse, and more in her now-settled lawsuit. The footage certainly appears to corroborate some of her allegations, though the Los Angeles D.A.’s Office says the incident occurred “beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”

T.I. Commends J Cole For Bowing Out Of Kendrick Lamar Battle

J Cole’s decision to delete his Kendrick Lamar diss “7 Minute Drill” and issue an enthusiastic apology onstage was controversial, to say the least. At the time, many thought it was a weak move, and wished he would have stuck things out. Since then, of course, the consensus has shifted, as most fans and peers now agree that he did the right thing after seeing how Kendrick’s beef with Drake played out.

During a recent appearance on Big Boy TV, T.I. shared his take on the situation, commending J Cole for knowing when to bow out. According to him, the rapper made a good call and might have saved himself a lot of trouble. “I feel he chose peace and tranquility,” he began.

T.I. Praises J Cole For “Mature” Apology

“You gotta have thick skin and really be unfazed and unbothered,” T.I. continued. “And we don’t know the temperament or the sensitivity of Cole’s dynamic. We’ve never seen Cole upset. We don’t know where that would take him… I think that was quite mature of him.” T.I.’s not alone in thinking that J Cole was right to apologize, as Benny The Butcher had a similar take that he shared earlier this month.

“Honestly, you can see how gossipy and everything that this battle’s turned into,” Benny said at the time. “Do you blame him for not wanting to be a part of this at this moment? Do you blame him? I don’t. I probably would’ve went about it in a different way, but it’s like a gossip battle. It’s not like a rap battle, it’s like a ‘telling each other’s business’ type of thing, so I wouldn’t want to be a part of that.” What do you think of J. Cole deciding to delete his “7 Minute Drill” diss and apologize to Kendrick Lamar? What about T.I.’s take on it? Soulja Boy Apologizes To Metro Boomin For Making Fun Of His Late Mother, Says He’s Going To Therapy

Soulja Boy has apologized to Metro Boomin for bringing up his late mother in several posts on Twitter in recent days. Additionally, he says he’s going to start going to therapy. He started going after the producer in response to a resurfaced tweet from 2012 in which he threw shade his way. “I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet,” Soulja began on Wednesday. “Condolences to his mom. I’m going to seek therapy and anger management. I’m done responding to hate, new or old.”

When The Neighborhood Talk shared the post on Instagram, fans weren’t quick to forgive Soulja. “This isn’t funny. It’s disgusting. His mother was murdered in cold blood by someone who was supposed to love her. And on top of that he took his own life so Metro will never get justice,” one user wrote. Another added: “Some things even apologies can’t fix.”

As for Metro’s old post in question, he had written: “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.” Soulja was furious when he discovered the remark. “You sacrificed your own mom @MetroBoomin you a puppet,” Soulja wrote at one point on Mother’s Day. “All the streams, sales, money, and fame not gone bring your mom back @MetroBoomin was it worth it? I can say f*ck this money and fame sh*t and still be a boss can you?” Check out his apology to Metro below.
