Diddy’s Former Assistant Wasn’t “Surprised” By Alleged Assault Video

Suzi Siegel, a former assistant of Diddy’s, says she wasn’t surprised by the video appearing to show him assaulting Cassie at a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. Siegel sat down with CNN for an interview after the outlet published the footage on Friday. It shows Diddy seemingly throwing Cassie to the ground and kicking her violently.

Siegel worked with Diddy from 2008 to 2009. She noted that she “never saw him speak harshly to her or be abusive toward her or anything like that.” Despite that, she added: “I rode in limos with them, I went to parties with them. I guess what I would say is, even though I never saw anything that could corroborate what’s in that lawsuit and what we just saw, there was not one cell in my body that was surprised.”

She continued: “I would say that I was around him a lot and I got a feeling for who he was. I didn’t see anything that could get him in trouble. But I think that [there’s a] power dynamic in a situation like that — especially her, at the beginning of her career, so young and beautiful and talented.” Siegel concluded: “Obviously, I saw it with the rest of America today. Cassie Had Visible Bruises During Film Premiere Days After Diddy’s Alleged Hotel Attack: Report

Cassie appeared to attend the premiere of the film, The Perfect Match, with visible bruises on her body following and alleged altercation with Diddy just days before, according to a new report from TMZ. The outlet cites pictures from the red carpet, in which a small bruise is visible on her shoulder. The report comes after CNN shared security footage of the Bad Boy mogul appearing to assault Cassie in a hotel before the 2016 premiere.

Cassie previously referenced an incident at the hotel in question in her lawsuit against Diddy from last November. Within a day of filing the complaint, she and Diddy settled the case. Afterward, several other alleged victims came forward with lawsuits of their own against Diddy.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed that Diddy will not face criminal charges over the video. While they labeled the clip “disturbing and difficult to watch,” they noted that the statute of limitations has long-since passed. The office explained: “If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted. As of today, law enforcement has not presented a case related to the attack depicted in the video against Mr. Combs, but we encourage anyone who has been a victim or witness to a crime to report it to law enforcement or reach out to our office for support from our Bureau of Victims Services.”

Diddy Sparks Chris Brown Debate Online Following Disturbing Cassie Video

Fans on social media have been comparing Diddy and Chris Brown following the recent release of security footage from 2016 that appears to show the Bad Boy mogul assaulting his then-partner, Cassie, at a hotel in Los Angeles. Brown infamously pleaded guilty to felony assault following an altercation with Rihanna back in 2009. The comparisons arose when one user tweeted out: “I want y’all to drag Diddy the same way yall been doing Chris Brown since 2009.” The post has amassed over 15,000 retweets and 60,000 likes.

“I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. People Demonized CB not for what he did. But who he did it to,” one user argued in response. The aforementioned video of Diddy was resurfaced by CNN on Friday. It appears to show Diddy chasing after Cassie in a hotel hallway. As she’s waiting for an elevator, he seems to aggressively grab her from behind and throw her to the floor before kicking her.

Earlier this week, Vory’s girlfriend felt that she had to take to social media with some serious allegations made against the rapper. She began a series of story posts explaining why she couldn’t believe the circumstances she’d ended up in. “The lies people will spread about you and try to paint you out to be because you don’t want to be abused, cheated on, or lied to anymore. I want to just feel safe in your own home again. Please be aware of who you are in a relationship with. If a man has abused women in the passed they will do it to you!” her first post reads.

In a consecutive post, she called out Vory directly. “You are a disgusting person. You want to paint me out to be this “whore” / bad person. When it’s you!! I don’t want to be with you or take your Valentine’s Day gift or spend time with you as a family because of all the sh*t you’ve put me through for TWO years,” she adds. Her posts continue calling out the rapper and singer for lying publicly in an attempt to turn the narrative against her. In one clip you can see him cornering and yelling at her while she holds their baby. Another clip features a moment where he seems to make the threat that he could have her killed.

Diddy Allegedly Pressured Cassie To Get Breast Implants

Diddy pressured Cassie into getting breast implants and had her reverse the operation despite warnings from doctors against doing so, according to an anonymous source for the Daily Mail. They claimed that Diddy met with celebrity surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan in 2009 to discuss work that could be done on Cassie’s body. The story comes following the singer’s recent bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of sexual, mental, and physical abuse.

The source recalled: “It was him talking about what he wanted. [Cassie] was like his doll, like a dress up doll. She had a flat chest. He said he wanted a full shape, sexy but not too big.” They added: “To me, watching this, it was just so cruel, so horrible. She was treated like a rat. It was literally like her voice was snatched and there was nothing she could do, that if she started standing up for herself, she’d be in trouble.“

Less than a week after getting the implants, Diddy returned to Dr. Ryan with Cassie demanding that they be taken out, despite the singer still recovering from the initial operation. The source continued: “He felt bad for her. Cassie was not talking at all. She was crying, visibly traumatized, but she wasn’t saying anything at all and just going along with whatever he said. Privately, Dr. Ryan told me this was mutilation, that I can’t even believe this. He was saying poor Cassie, this is awful.”

Diddy’s Lawyer Denies Wrongdoing Despite Cassie Lawsuit Settlement

Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, says that his client’s recent settlement with Cassie in her rape and abuse lawsuit is “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.” He explained the decision to settle in a statement provided to Page Six on Saturday.

Brafman wrote: “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

Cassie confirmed that the decision was “amicable.” “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,” she said. Diddy added: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

Cassie filed the lawsuit against Diddy just one day before the settlement. She accused the Bad Boy mogul of several wrongdoings including rape, physical abuse, introducing her to alcohol and drugs, and more. In response to her attempts to escape the relationship, Diddy would allegedly threaten her career in the entertainment industry. “Over the years that Mr. Combs abused Ms. Ventura physically and sexually, she again and again tried to escape his tight hold over her life,” the lawsuit stated. “Every time she hid, Mr. Combs’s vast network of corporations and affiliated entities found her, and those who worked for Mr. Combs’s companies implored her to return to him. Keke Palmer Security Footage Surfaces Following Darius Jackson Abuse Allegations

Keke Palmer recently filed for a restraining order against Darius Jackson. Furthermore, he also sought full custody of her son Leodis. Well, last night, Palmer was granted both of those things. For now, the restraining order is a temporary one that will be reconsidered in December. Meanwhile, Palmer will be the only parent in her child’s life for the immediate future. This could change, however, there is quite a bit of legal proceeding that will have to take place first.

In Palmer’s filing to the court, she alleged that Darius Jackson had physically assaulted her on numerous occasions. During one of these instances, he allegedly grabbed at her neck and even tried to get at her phone. To prove her case, Palmer attached some photos from security camera footage. As the filing suggests, Jackson allegedly got upset when Palmer showed him a picture of her in a bikini. This subsequently led to an alleged instance of physical abuse. “In the bedroom, he slammed me on the floor and slapped my head from side to side,” Palmer said. “The next morning, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs near the front door, screaming at me as I was coming down the stairs. When I was almost at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed me around the neck and body slammed me back onto the stairs.”
