Tommy Fury Vs. Jake Paul Fight In Jeopardy Over Travel Issues

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul are set to fight each other on August 6th at Madison Square Garden in New York. These two have been looking to fight each other for a very long time, however, there is always an issue closer to fight time. For instance, the last time these two were going to fight, Fury broke his rib and had to back out.

Now, Fury is running into even more problems. In an Instagram video today, Fury said that he was unable to attend the press conference for the event as he ran into problems at Heathrow airport. Essentially, he was denied entry into the United States, and the fighter has no clue as to why.

“As soon as I entered the airport, I was pulled to one side and told by a Homeland Security officer that my ESTA had been denied and that I wasn’t able to travel to the USA for a reason I apparently know,” Fury said.

Paul isn’t buying this one bit as he immediately took to Twitter claiming that Paul’s team had told Fury how he could overcome this obstacle. Simply put, Paul believes Fury has been given every opportunity to resolve this but has chosen not to.

“Tommy, no matter how hard u try to get out of this fight, I’m going 2 do everything in my power 2 not let u weasel ur way out,” Paul said. “My team & my partners have made it clear the steps u need to take 2 solve ur latest excuse. Take them or admit ur a scared little bitch.”

Kanye West Describes Dream With De La Soul’s Posdnuos In Leaked “Skeletons” Demo

An early version of Travis Scott’s “Skeletons” has leaked online and the demo includes a verse from Kanye West in which the Donda rapper recalls a strange dream he had with Posdnuos of De La Soul.

“I had a dream that I could float/Yeah, I had cracked the code/I was at my grammar school, Vanderpoel/And for some reason Posdnuos was there,” he raps. “And of course the people sent people there to get me/Let off a few shots but none of ’em hit me/The attempted assailants was black but dressed like Remy/They had the AK-47 with the scope on it.”

In the final cut of “Skeletons,” Scott put Tame Impala, The Weeknd, and Pharrell Williams as the featured artists. He also rapped parts of the verse originally written by West. The song was included on the tracklist for Scott’s 2018 album, Astroworld.

“I fucked your ex and sent a text out of respect/It was good sex, honorable mention to the neck/Didn’t ass-to-mouth, that was out of respect/Afterwards passed the towel, I was out of Kleenex/When you take a girl out do you expect sex?/If she take her titties out do she expect checks?/Next visit I gave her a pearl necklace/Next visit think I need a girl naked,” he raps for the lyrics which were later reworked by Scott.

While West has never collaborated with any of the members of De La Soul, he has voiced his support for the legendary group’s fight to get back control of the majority of their music catalog

“De La Soul can’t even get their music on iTunes,” he wrote on Twitter in 2020.

Other lyrics from Ye’s cut verse later appeared on “Cudi Montage” from KIDS SEE GHOSTS.

R. Kelly Fan Arrested For Threatening Prosecutors

R. Kelly is facing a life sentence after he was convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking crimes. However, there’s still a slew of supporters who feel that the embattled singer is innocent. According to New York Post, prosecutors allege that a 39-year-old man named Christopher Gunn has been arrested for threatening prosecutors.

Prosecutors claim Gunn threatened to “storm” the U.S. Attorney’s office in Brooklyn during a livestream and listed the three female prosecutors involved in Kelly’s case. In the video, he also included a shooting scene from Boyz N The Hood revealing four individuals just into a car with firearms.

In addition to threatening prosecutors, Gunn is also accused of accepting payments for ammunition. Prosecutors claim that on June 1st, he used Cash App to sell 30 rounds of ammunition. Another user also paid Gunn for ammunition, writing, “30 rounds.. Free R kelly.”

Gunn was arrested on Saturday and held without bond in a Chicago federal court. He has a hearing scheduled for Wednesday. However, he might end up being extradited to Brooklyn.

Gunn is said to have attended at least one day of Kelly’s trial last year, though there’s no clear evidence that Gunn or Kelly had any communication with each other. Gunn faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

Kelly will be sentenced for his conviction on Wednesday, June 29th.

Russell Westbrook Makes Huge Lakers Decision

Russell Westbrook’s first season with the Los Angeles Lakers was not what he was hoping for. The Lakers could say the exact same thing, as the expectations for Russ were extremely high. In the end, Russ had one of his worst statistical seasons, and it became crystal clear that he was just not a good fit for Frank Vogel’s system.

Since then, the Lakers have changed coaches, and with Darvin Ham coming in to take things over, there is this real sense that Russ could be of great use to the team. There have still been a few trade rumors involving Russ, but at the end of the day, the likeliest option appears to be him staying with the Lakers for another year.

In fact, it was reported today that Russ will be opting into his $47.1 million deal for next year. This scenario was pretty well guaranteed, however, it has now become official. This means that no matter what happens, Westbrook will be making bank in 2022 and 2023.

Of course, this now makes it infinitely harder for the Lakers to trade Westbrook, as no one will want to take on that contract. He only has one more year left, and a $47 million rental is nonsensical.

Kyrie Irving & Barstool Sports Get Into Contentious Back And Forth

Kyrie Irving is one of the most polarizing players in the entire NBA. He has found himself at the center of various controversies, and it always seems like there is some kind of drama around him. For instance, up until last night, there was this sense that he was going to leave the Brooklyn Nets and go elsewhere. Of course, he has since opted in, but that was not a given yesterday afternoon.

In fact, with Kyrie rumors spreading like wildfire, Barstool Sports decided to take a shot at the Nets star, claiming he is a cancer to any franchise he plays for. Of course, Kyrie did not like this assessment, which led to a quick reply on Twitter.

“*NBA champion and *Gold medalist * Kyrie Irving Just thought the statement needed a correction as y’all continue to make money off of my NAME and countless others,” Kyrie wrote.

Despite this response, Barstool Sports wasn’t finished as they decided to take more shots at Kyrie. For instance, they posted a link to a t-shirt that is for sale on the Barstool website. This shirt has the Celtics colors on it, and it compares Kyrie to Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, and ISIS.

Barstool clearly has an ax to grind with Kyrie, and that will probably never change. Regardless, it is pretty wild to see Kyrie be compared to a literal terrorist organization. Basketball is never that serious.
