T.I. Won’t Return To “Ant-Man” Franchise, Sabrina Peterson Files Lawsuit: Report

Another professional casualty has been reported for T.I. in the wake of the allegations against him and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Weeks ago, the couple’s former friend Sabrina Peterson came forward on social media with accusations that the rapper held a gun to her head. Soon, Peterson would return with several women who allege they are victims of drugging, sexual abuse, and kidnapping by the famous couple—accusations that both Tiny and T.I. have actively denied.

On Monday (March 1), it was reported that a New York lawyer named Tyrone A. Blackburn penned a letter to state and federal prosecutors in California and Georgia. He claims that he’s spoken with alleged victims—a reported 11 additional women—who accused the couple of sexual assault and rape, while he also calls on authorities to launch an official investigation.

T.I. and Tiny’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, has issued a statement on behalf of the couple saying they “deny in the strongest possible terms these baseless and unjustified allegations.” He added, “We fully expect that if these claims are thoroughly and fairly investigated, no charges will be forthcoming. These allegations are nothing more than the continuation of a sordid shakedown campaign that began on social media and now attempts to manipulate the press and misuse the justice system.”

Meanwhile, it has been shared that T.I. will not be returning to the next installment of the Ant-Man franchise. The rapper portrayed the character of “Dave” in the 2015 and 2018 films, and The Hollywood Reporter claims T.I. hasn’t been added to the cast of the forthcoming movie. However, it’s unclear if that exclusion has anything to do with recent allegations. We previously reported that VH1 halted the production of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle indefinitely.

Peterson has filed a defamation lawsuit against T.I. and Tiny, claiming that the negativity has smeared her name and image. During her online spat with the couple, T.I. and Tiny responded to accusations by sharing a photo of the rapper with Peterson’s son. She states in documents that the post exposed her child to “vitriol and danger.”

DaniLeigh Defends Her Controversial ‘Yellow Bone’ Song By Saying She’s 39 Percent ‘West African’

DaniLeigh found herself in the middle of a some controversy after she previewed a short snippet of her unreleased track “Yellow Bone,” which she said was dedicated to all the “light skin baddies.” Fans slammed the song as colorist and pressed DaniLeigh to apologize, which only made things worse. Rather than giving the heartfelt apology her listeners wanted, DaniLeigh instead ranted about cancel culture while saying she’s sorry if she “offended” anyone.

Though the initial controversy was ignited several weeks ago, DaniLeigh is still not letting up on critics, which landed her in a Twitter feud with Atlanta rapper Akbar V. Akbar V slammed DaniLeigh as “racist” and the tiff ensued from there.

Akbar V then addressed DaniLeigh’s colorist controversy. “i want u to stop color shaming cause i really wasn’t being funny,” she wrote, continuing to say that Black women go through enough and don’t need someone saying colorist things in a nonchalant manner. DaniLeigh responded that she never “intended” to make fun of anyone: “I never intended to make fun of anyone… as artist people will take ur words and interpret them how they want .. I now know .. yellow bone is what he want .. wasn’t the right thing to say.. but I wasn’t saying it to shame someone .. especially they color..”

Akbar V continued to press DaniLeigh for an apology.

The argument eventually turned to a discussion of DaniLeigh’s race. “Well everyone is calling me a white girl and I ain’t no f*cking white girl … I’m Dominican… with a whole bunch of sh*t in me.”

Replying to another tweet, DaniLeigh defended herself by saying she’s 39 percent West African.

Benzino Once Again Vents About Coi Leray: “Her Mother Poisoned That”

The ongoing online feud between Benzino and Coi Leray has a new chapter, now that The Source icon has returned verbal fire. Benzino and his daughter Coi Leray have been going back and forth throughout the day (March 1) after Benzino addressed Leray’s “No More Parties” lyrics where she claims he wasn’t there for her. The former music executive called the complaint an untruth and added that Leray has been living a well-off life. “Coi was raised in a mansion and had everything she ever asked for. My other two sons are grown and would never say these things,” he said.

Leray clapped back with a video where her frustrations with her father were visible. “It’s crazy ’cause we was just on the phone crying yesterday, sharing this moment. Like, really sharin’ the moment,” she said. “For this man to come on here and do this is so lame and this is the reason he burned all his bridges today. Look here, father… I’m on Billboard charting right now and all you can do is this lame sh*t? Yeah, still proving on how much you lack as a father.”

Benzino is back, and this time he’s defending his name against his daughter’s allegations. “People need a storyline and y’all saying ‘clout,’ she mentioned me in the song,” said Benzino. “Stupid. Y’all wouldn’t have known nothin’ was goin’ on. Coi had everything she wanted. I was flying Coi to meet every summer, every Spring Break, every—she was in Miami. I got her in a movie… Every Christmas, Thanksgiving, she’s with me. Her brother and her other brother, they was all with me. Every last one… Her mother poisoned that. A lot of mother’s do that to guys. That’s a regular thing in the ‘hood.”

“The mothers get mad ’cause you ain’t with ’em no more, then they start poisoning the kid’s minds,” he continued. “I met Coi’s mother in the projects… I took care of her two sons that wasn’t mine. She tell you that, too? Get out of here. Y’all are stupid. I didn’t even want this sh*t, but I knew it would happen. I knew once she put that line in the song, I knew what was gonna happen.”

Waka Flocka Thinks It’s “Corny As F*ck” To Film Good Deeds For Less Fortunate

Should good deeds be kept private or shared publicly? Since the launch of social media, there has been a great debate about whether or not it’s appropriate to film yourself—or others on the receiving end—helping people or doing something nice for a stranger. These types of posts are often a refreshing break from the Rap beefs and thumb-thugging wars plaguing various apps and websites, however, not everyone thinks that your kind deeds need a global audience. Waka Flocka recently shared his opinion on the matter, and according to the rapper, it’s a “corny” move to help or feed people in need of help while recording the exchange.

It’s not uncommon for Waka to hop on a video with a few thoughts he wants to share with his followers, and he didn’t hold back this time around. “You know what? “When I do good deeds, I don’t never record or take pictures because why would I catch a person at they lowest point in life?” asked the rapper in the viral clip.

“And plus, I don’t need a visual of what I did right,” he added. “I got to experience it and that sh*t is a feeling and that’s something you can’t take from me. You know what I’m saying? Or take from them. That’s a real human trait. So, to see anybody marketing theyself feeding the homeless or feeding somebody that need help…to me, you corny as f*ck, man.”

There have been several social media influencers (and artists) who have built their brands on recording themselves going to places like Skid Row and handing out money or resources to lower-income or homeless individuals. Sometimes, those videos go viral and the public reaches out with inquiries regarding ways they can help, as well. However, not all of these people receiving goods and services are aware that they’ve gone viral online.

Do you agree or disagree with Waka?

DaniLeigh Tells The Shade Room Not To Post About Her, Threatens Legal Action

It was a rough weekend for DaniLeigh. The multihyphenate entertainer has been on the receiving end of negativity for some time, but her relationship with DaBaby amplified the criticisms. Then, she walked herself into the “Yellow Bone” controversy, and although she apologized for her tone-deaf song, the public won’t let the Def Jam talent move forward. With each post she makes, screenshots and insults are shared, and now, DaniLeigh has called out The Shade Room for their coverage of her personal and business moves.

On Twitter, DaniLeigh posted a screenshot of her DMs with the entertainment blog after tweeting “F*ck @TheShadeRoom.” She mentioned them in her Instagram Story and wrote over the post, “@theshaderoom is a evil ass f*cking platform I blocked em months ago and they still wanna post me every f*ckin day. I’m getting my attorney on this sh*t ! Imagine that I was a depressed Lil girl that was effected by this internet sh*t y’all would be posting my ‘RIP’ POST F*CK YALL DEAD ASS.”

Then, DaniLeigh DMed a few more messages where she told the blog not to post about her anymore. “Y’all always wanna post sh*t that’s gon be viral knowing what people gon say,” she penned. “And u don’t even be posting the truth. Y’all really got some problem with me. For whatever reason. U don’t kno me.”

DaniLeigh also addressed her month-old controversy that has caused people to call her Dominican heritage into question. “Well everyone is calling me a white girl and I ain’t no f*cking white girl … I’m Dominican… with a whole bunch of sh*t in me .. I write songs how I speak. I’m also a human being . So but whatever y’all don’t care . Y’all hate me lol.”

Someone responded by telling her that her parents are “clearly white.” DaniLeigh set the record straight and replied, “They are light skin. My mom is thick af with curly hair that she straightens… my dad is darker than me .. tf ???? I got cousins that look jus like u!! Dominicans are black also. Jus leave it alone bro I ain’t no fucking white girl.”

Azealia Banks Calls Out Public For “Never [Checking]” T.I. Over Alleged Violent Threats

The developing accusations against T.I. and Tiny have evolved as it’s being reported that 11 new alleged victims have come forward. For weeks, the Hip Hop couple has been under fire after their former friend, Sabrina Peterson, took to social media to publicly accuse T.I. of holding a gun to her head. Following their online spat, Peterson resurfaced with stories from other women who accused the reality star pair of drugging and sexually abusing them. Both T.I. and Tiny have vehemently denied the allegations and are adamant that no one did anything against their will.

Weighing in on the recent events is Azealia Banks who has been feuding with T.I. on-and-off for the better part of seven or eight years. They’ve traded numerous insults as Banks took shots at the Atlanta icon’s Iggy Azalea-assisted track “No Mediocre.” Banks spoke about Tiny’s looks and T.I. threw a few insults of his own, but according to Banks, no one batted an eye.

“Y’all still never checked TI for saying he was gonna slit my throat and toss me down the stairs,” wrote the performer on her Instagram Story. “Over questioning a white woman for calling herself a runaway slave master.” This is, of course, in reference to Iggy’s controversial lyrics in her “D.R.U.G.S.” single.

“I’m Insane because you all made me this way,” Azealia added, before mentioning Iggy once again. “Sad thing is T.I and Tiny probably had igloo drugged up and forcing her into threesomes too!” The couples’ lawyer has once again denied any allegations of misconduct.
