Chris Brown Wants Smoke With Quavo On The Court

Chris Brown has proven time and time again that he’s a solid basketball player. Every time he’s been called on for a celebrity game, he reminds people of that. Unfortunately, he wasn’t called on for the celebrity game during All-Star weekend that included a 2v2 between Quavo and Jack Harlow and 2 Chainz and Lil Baby.

Breezy wasn’t impressed with the outcome. The singer took to Instagram where he aired out his grievances while calling out Quavo and Jack Harlow. “They knew who not to ask for on that 2 on 2 basketball. I would’ve cooked Quavo and Jack! On my soul! Guess they wanted a smoke free zone,” Breezy said.

The competitive spirit within Quavo emerged, once again, as he fired back at the R&B singer. “Chris Brown ain’t cooking nan call next n***a!!!” He wrote, which seemingly triggered Breezy.

“Aint no next… I’m on now. Set it up lil n***a,” he wrote on one post. “U know dis work different,” he added before calling on YouTuber Austin McBroom to join him as his partner in a 2v2 against Harlow and Quavo. It seems that this is the match-up that people wanted to see. Waka Flocka offered to put up $250K bet for the game, writing in the comments, “I got a quarter million in real life on that one.

Quavo’s skills have ruffled a few feathers already since his big win against Lil Baby and 2 Chainz. Even before the game, he made the bold claim that he’s the “best hip-hop basketball player in the world.” Sheck Wes did not agree with that one.

Migos Actually Return To The Bando For “Culture III” Video Shoot

It looks like Migos are actually on pace to release Culture III. It’s been over three years since their last album which was followed by three solo projects and a slew of singles that haven’t necessarily stuck the way they’re supposed to. Fans have been understandably reluctant about what the ATL trio has up their sleeves next.

Migos have been recording the project out in Los Angeles at their compound throughout the pandemic and in late January, they offered a brand new trailer for the project that gave us a bit more insight into where they’re at. After embarking on solo careers and establishing themselves further, the L.A. compound became the spot where they reconnected and bonded even further over the music.

The project was also recorded out in Atlanta which seems to be an integral part of the process. As Offset put it in early December, “back to the bando.”Offset wasn’t lying, either. It appears that the trio returned to an actual bando to film an upcoming music video. Footage of the video shoot surfaced earlier this weekend. The bass-heavy snippet makes the vocals inaudible with the exception of one line from Quavo who raps, “Turned a pandemic into a bandemic, you know that the shit that we on.” Quavo previously said we should expect the album before April.

Check out the snippet below. Are you excited about Culture III?

Russ Finds Himself Trapped In “Hard For Me” Music Video

Russ has been known for his smooth self-produced tracks that have captivated audiences all around the world. Russ knows how to sell out entire stadiums and tracks like “Hard For Me” provide the content that keeps his fans coming back. Recently, the artist decided to deliver a music video for the song which fits the concept of the lyrics. The song is about a relationship in which Russ is giving it his all while the other person hardly reciprocates the feelings. In this video, this is exactly what Russ depicts.

As you can see, Russ is in a futuristic room where his significant other is trapped in a glass enclosure. Russ does everything he can to get her out of the case, and eventually, that’s exactly what he does. Eventually, however, Russ is placed in the case where his oxygen is lowering. The woman just looks at him and doesn’t try to get him out, which fits with the theme of a one-sided relationship.

JT Responds To Critics After Blocking Fan With Cancer: “I Block People”

City Girls’ rapper JT has never been one to not respond directly to critics on her respective social media avenues. While Twitter happens to be her preferred mode of communication, she does take to Instagram every once in a while to respond directly to her noisiest haters. Yesterday (March 6), the “Jobs” artist was slammed on Twitter after she blocked a fan dying of cancer on the platform whom she had assumed was a bot. The hate got so bad for the 28-year-old Miami native that she deactivated her account, later taking to Instagram live to further explain what went down.

Following the whole ordeal, the other half of the City Girls’ also let out a testy tweet letting people know her true feelings regarding the situation. “F*ck y’all * ole girl! How bout that?” she penned in a since-deleted tweet Saturday. This is what prompted JT, who has since returned to Twitter, to take to Instagram to explain she wasn’t saying telling the poor girl with cancer to eff off.

“I block people. It’s nothing and when I say that sh*t it’s weird I done had full blown arguments with that grown ass women and that had nothing to do with that girl with cancer,” she explained in the video.

“I was in the middle of the argument and now I’m cancelled? I was in the middle of an argument she was under my sh*t, people was arguing with her, it was too much going on. So I blocked her and said imma get back to you cus in my eyes you’re a bot! If you under my sh*t everytime I upload. Stop tryna make it seem like it’s f*cked up talking about it’s f*ck her, y’all and that little girl, I would never say f*ck nobody with no f*cking cancer. Get the f*ck out of here.

“And I deactivated my Twitter because everything I say and do now, I can’t even be happy in peace. Y’all always…” she ended.

This Twitter break was not as extended as her previous ones, and she returned to the platform just hours later. What do you guys make of JT’s explanation? Do you buy it or no? Sound off in the comments.

Quavo Says He’s The Best Basketball Player In Hip-Hop, Sheck Wes Reacts

Quavo might be just as good as an athlete as he is a rapper. If we’re being honest, these days, Quavo’s proved that he might actually be a better basketball player than he is a rapper. That’s not shot at him. We’re just hoping that Culture III lives up to the hype. Anyways, Quavo and Jack Harlow faced off against 2 Chainz and Lil Baby in a 2v2 basketball game and won. Needless to say, he was feeling himself.

Quavo made a bold claim, perhaps one that was earned by the end of the night, when he declared himself to be “the best hip-hop basketball player” in the world. While some might argue that he’d have to compete against J. Cole and Lil Durk, he said it half-hesitantly but wholeheartedly. “I finna prove it tonight,” he added during the pre-game interview. He did, ultimately, but there were a few other people who felt like Quavo might not be that hot on the court. One person being Sheck Wes. In response to Bleacher Report’s tweet, he fired back with a ton of laughing emojis.

Sheck Wes isn’t necessarily one to play with on the court, either. Though he ultimately didn’t get drafted into the NBA, he did sign with a division two French basketball team. Maybe one day we’ll see Sheck and Quavo finally determine who the best rapper/basketball player is.

Who do you have your money on in a 1v1?

Josh Gordon Catches Huge Hail Mary In Fan Controlled Football Debut

Josh Gordon has faced numerous setbacks throughout his time in the NFL and now, he is completely out of the league. Gordon had been given numerous chances when it comes to the league’s substance-abuse policy but after yet another suspension from the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks decided to release him and move on. It was disappointing news for the superstar wide receive who seemingly made big strides to get back into the field.

Now, Gordon is playing for the Zappers in the Fan Controlled Football league, and in his debut, he made a massive impact. As you can see in the video clip below, Gordon catches a hail mary pass at the end of the game, which wins his team the match. It was a nice pass, and an even better catch while in deep coverage.

The Fan Controlled Football league makes it so that only the fans can dictate what kind of plays are being called. Players like Johnny Manziel are also in the league and at this point, it seems like the new venture is catching on, even if it is a completely different style of football.

It remains to be seen how long Gordon will want to stay in this league but so far, so good.
