Kanye West’s “Donda” Album Updated By CyHi The Prynce

Kanye West had previously announced his latest studio album Donda: With Child, announcing the project’s release date, cover artwork, and even sharing the tracklist before none of that arrived. The album was seemingly shelved indefinitely but, thankfully, for fans that have been craving some new music from Kanye, it might still be coming.

Plenty of rumors have been circulating from Kanye’s camp regarding the superstar recording artist and his mindset as his marriage to Kim Kardashian crumbles. The couple is getting a divorce following six years of marriage and, understandably, it seems like music has not been a priority for Kanye during this time. However, that doesn’t mean that Donda: With Child will have the same fate as Turbo Grafx 16 did. According to CyHi The Prynce’s latest interview with VladTV, Kanye took a little bit of a winter hiatus and is starting to regroup.

Speaking about his work on Jesus Is King, CyHi went on to give some brief updates about Donda. “I think [Kanye] started working on it late last year. Once November, December, January comes around, he kind of takes a hiatus. A little vacation break, get with the family. We’re back working, that’s why I’m out here too.”

CyHi says that he gets paid handsomely for the ideas he provides other artists, including Kanye, and he also reveals that he has houses in every city that Kanye does. As for how Kanye is dealing with the divorce, CyHi says they didn’t speak much about that but he says the artist is “in good spirits” and that, with how much love the man has for his family, it has to hit him “some kind of way”.

LeBron James Speaks On Playing With Steph Curry For The First Time

Last night was the NBA All-Star Game and while there were quite a few worries that the game wouldn’t actually happen due to issues caused by COVID-19, the game turned out to be entertaining, all while the dunk and three-point contests featured some great plays. Team LeBron ended up defeating Team Durant by a score of 170-150, with Damian Lillard scoring the final buzzer-beater to win the match.

Giannis Antetokounmpo came away with the MVP trophy from the event, and overall, it was a good night to be associated with LeBron. Perhaps LeBron’s favorite teammate from last night, however, was none other than Steph Curry who was his arch-nemesis for four-straight seasons. After the game, LeBron gave a shoutout to Curry, noting that it was great to finally play alongside him.

“Finally got to share the floor with @StephenCurry30! Well overdue and I loved every single second!!” LeBron wrote.

Steph reciprocated the remark and in the end, it turned out to be the ultimate fan service. While these two will probably never play together on an actual team, it was still nice to see them share the court in such a way.

Team LeBron Wins 2021 All-Star Game After Damian Lillard’s Game-Winner

Team LeBron has emerged from the 2021 NBA All-Star Game victorious after defeating Team Durant 170-150. The win was sealed by a half-court shot from Damian Lillard to end the game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo put together a perfect night from the field, dropping 35 points and shooting a perfect 16-of-16. For his performance, he was named the Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP.

“It’s fun,” Giannis said postgame. “It’s fun. I was happy, my teammates had fun. Just being around great players it’s easy to play with.”
Lillard’s game-winning half-court shot is the result of a deliberate decision to incorporate the unusual shot into his arsenal.

“I told him that I’m going to do it…” Lillard said at the beginning of the season, of telling his coach to look out for it. “Terry, he sees me in here every day. I work on my game. I address the things that I feel like I could do better, but the things that I do well, I just keep getting better at it, I spend time doing and I try to expand on that.”

During half-time, the Slam Dunk Contest was held and Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons was named the 2021 champion.

Anfernee Simons Named 2021 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest Champion

Portland Trail Blazers 21-year-old guard Anfernee Simons was named the 2021 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest Champion, Sunday night, after defeating New York Knicks rookie Obi Toppin in the final round of the competition. Simons’ victory marks the first time a Trail Blazer has won the Slam Dunk Contest.

Indiana Pacers rookie Cassius Stanley, the only other contestant, was eliminated in the first round. His second dunk, which took multiple attempts to pull off, was scored a mere 37 points by the judges.

“Good shiiiii young @AnferneeSimons. Told you brotha!!” Simons’ Trail Blazers teammate CJ McCollum wrote on Twitter after the win.

Shannon Sharpe defended the event online, tweeting, “The dunk contest wasn’t bad. No big names, but Simons was impressive. Didn’t realize he was that springy Toppin’s 1st rd dunk would’ve broken the internet had Zack Lavine not done it in the layup line last wk with sweat jacket on.”

Earlier in the day, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion Blake Griffin is expected to sign with the Brooklyn Nets.

“Interested teams have expected Griffin to pursue a championship in Brooklyn alongside Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden,” Charania confirmed on Twitter, Sunday afternoon.

Wayne Gretzky Performs Powerful Eulogy At His Father Walter’s Funeral

Canadian hockey legend Wayne Gretzky gave an emotional eulogy, Saturday, for his father, Walter, who died Thursday at age 82. Walter played a pivotal role in his son’s success and is known as Canada’s hockey dad.

“But he had a love for life and he didn’t want to leave,” Wayne said Saturday. “We were 21 days sitting with him and just enjoying life. We got a chance and opportunity to tell stories.”

Walter battled Parkinson’s disease, a serious hip injury, and other health issues in his life.

“He was a remarkable man who loved life, loved family,” he continued. “We’d be a way better world if there was so many more people like my dad. Very special. We’re all hurting.”

“A tough time,” said Gretzky, as he broke into tears. “I’m so proud of the fact that so many people have reached out and given him such great tributes, because he deserves it. He has the heart of gold.”

The funeral service was limited to just friends and family due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions. Hundreds of fans gathered outside St. Mark’s Anglican Church, outside of Toronto and waited for the service to finish to pay respects.
