Kimora Lee Simmons Calls Russell Simmons’s Lawsuit “Harassment”

No one wins when the family feuds but the Simmons crew doesn’t care about Jay-Z lyrics. Russell Simmons and his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons have long touted their blended family as being at peace as they’ve introduced new partners and children, and the most recent match-up is Kimora and Tim Leissner, who she married back in 2014. The couple welcomed a child together, adding onto the growing family that includes Kimora’s two daughters with Russell, her son with actor Djimon Hounsou, and a reported adopted son.

This week, we reported on the news that Russell was suing his ex-wife after he claims she illegally transferred his Celsius energy drink stock to her and her husband. The Def Jam icon claimed that Kimora was using the money to help pay off legal issues that have arisen for Leissner after he reportedly pleaded guilty in the $200 million fraud case. Kimora quickly clapped back with the help of her legal team.

TheJasmineBrand reports that they received a statement regarding the allegations and it reads as follows:

“Kimora and her children are shocked by the extortive harassment coming from her ex-husband, Russell Simmons, who has decided to sue her for shares and dividends of Celsius stock in which Kimora and Tim Leissner invested millions of dollars. This is an ill-advised attempt by Russell to use the legal system to access funds he is in no way entitled to, and which his own legal team confirms Russell did not pay for.

“Russell’s continued aggressive behavior not only blatantly distorts the facts, but is simply a desperate PR ploy ignoring the years of mental and emotional anguish, gas lighting, and ongoing harassment he has inflicted on Kimora.

“Russell will be held accountable for his serial abuse and we will confront his baseless claims that he is warranted Celsius stock dividends despite his self-admitted zero contribution. This extortion attempt is especially egregious given that Russell remains contractually in debt to Kimora for millions of dollars in unpaid business loans. Our team is actively working to put a firm end to his harassment, which continues despite Russell having fled the country – he will face his own reckoning in the US court.”

Russell Simmons hasn’t yet responded to this latest update from his ex-wife.

XXXTentacion’s Mom Accused Of Hiding Money From Rapper’s Brother: Report

There is a legal war happening between XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, and the late rapper’s brother, Corey Pack. XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was murdered in Florida back in the summer of 2018, and NBC Miami reports that since that time, there have been complaints filed regarding the monies left to his estate.

It’s reported that just last week, Pack filed court documents against Bernard, alleging that Onfroy’s mother has been hiding money from him by creating “holding and other companies and transferred money into them from the estate.” There wasn’t a specific number listed in the report, but it is stated that Pack claims millions of dollars have been transferred.

This isn’t the first set of legal woes for Pack and Bernard; it’s said that last summer he sued her because he wanted his share of Onfroy’s estate which NBC Miami claims was valued at somewhere around $50 million. Bernard has control of her late son’s estate and while she has 50 percent interest, Pack and another of Onfroy’s brothers reportedly were given 25 percent each.

The “fraudulent transfer complaint seeks to recover assets being transferred from the probate estate by XXX’s mother, Cleo Bernard, in order to deprive our client Corey Pack, of a recovery, if he’s successful in his efforts to secure his inheritance rights either under his late brother’s trust or will,” said Pack’s attorney, Robert Stock.

Things got a tad muddled when Bernard reportedly made a paternity agreement with Jenesis Sanchez, the mother of Onfroy’s son, a child that was born months after his death. Bernard hasn’t publicly responded to the report or accusations of illegally hiding funds from Onfroy’s siblings.

Terry Presume Delivers A Surreal Video For His Electrifying New Track, ‘ZaZa And Some Runtz’

Multitalented act Terry Presume arrives with a brand new visual for his latest track, “ZaZa And Some Runtz.” The video finds the Nashville-based singer on the other side of the country, in Los Angeles, for the surreal new effort. It also captures how Presume perceives his world when he’s heads above the clouds thanks to some help from an evergreen substance.

Presume, who also doubles as a rapper and a producer, shows his versatility and ability to master an array of different songs with the new single and video which is directed by Spencer Ford, who has also done work with Brockhampton, Jawny and St. Felix.

Presume’s start in music began as a child with his single mother in their Naples, FL home. There, the singer enjoyed music from the likes of 50 Cent, Eminem, and a bunch of classic R&B records. At the age of eight, he began writing poems and three years later he taught himself how to write and produce music.

“ZaZa And Some Runtz” arrives after he dropped “Did Me Wrong” last month. The April release found him reminiscing on a past lover while moping through the city streets as he reflects on the status of his current life.

“I can see you wanted more, the words appear on your face,” he raps. “I’m always up, you always down now we in two different states.”

You can watch the video for “ZaZa And Some Runtz” above.

Nick Cannon Allegedly Expecting Child With “Wild ‘N Out” Model Alyssa Scott

No, it’s not Groundhog’s Day. Back in March, news began to circulate that Nicki Cannon would be welcoming twins with DJ Abby De La Rosa, and it came as a surprise considering he’d just welcomed a daughter with Brittany Bell back in December 2020. Brittany and Cannon also have a son, Golden, who was born in 2017, and these kids are in addition to the twins that Cannon had with Mariah Carey during their marriage. Supermodel Jessica White revealed that she was once pregnant by Cannon, as well, but they suffered a miscarriage. There were also rumors that he was dating model and photographer LaNisha Nicole after she posted images of them together.

On Thursday (May 20), images started to pop up online of a woman named Alyssa Scott who was reportedly a model for Cannon’s show, Wild ‘N Out. Scott has been posting photos of her growing baby bump and she captioned one image with the words “Zen S. Cannon.” Someone jumped in the comments to ask if Nick Cannon is the father.

Scott didn’t say yes, but she did reply to the comment with three smiling emojis with hearts around them. People took that as a confirmation and, unsurprisingly, Cannon has been on the receiving end of all sorts of social media responses. Check out a few images of Alyssa below as well as reactions to Cannon’s latest baby news.

“This is what it’s come to…” the rapper shared on Instagram in what looks to be lyrics. “Go put yo face and reputation on it…These kind of clowns deserve more than anonymous provocative conversation, don’t it??” Elsewhere, he wrote, “Welcome to the COINTELPRO Part II,” referencing the illegal surveillance operations of the FBI. The rapper also mentioned, “Willing to face whatever consequences for his vision…while I’m up against some lyin ass b*tches.”

It’s certainly going to spark more controversy. You can check out T.I.’s post below.

Obama Called Trump A “F*cking Lunatic” & A “Racist, Sexist Pig” According To Book

Like many other politically correct public figures, former President Barack Obama kept his comments about former President Donald Trump cordial and professional throughout the latter’s presidency. Although both Obama and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, would often criticize Trump’s policies, remarks, and moves, both Obamas refrained from speaking out of pocket about the then-reigning president. However, a new book suggests that behind the scenes, Barack Obama was unleashing insults about Trump.

According to The Guardian, a staff writer for the Atlantic named Edward-Isaac Dovere penned a book titled Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Donald Trump. “The author claims that Obama called Trump a “racist, sexist pig,” a “madman,” as well as a “corrupt motherf*cker.”

That wasn’t all. Obama also dubbed Trump “that f*cking lunatic,” but he wasn’t the only person slinging a few insults. During the campaign trail, before Vice President Kamala Harris became President Joe Biden’s running mate, Harris made comments during a debate that Biden’s wife, Dr. Jill Biden, didn’t appreciate. According to Dovere’s book, Jill said that Harris should “go f*ck herself.”

He’s a madman,” Dovere claims Obama said of Trump, adding that Obama said this to “big donors looking to squeeze a reaction out of him in exchange for the big checks they were writing to his foundation.” Dovere also wrote that Obama lamented, “I didn’t think it would be this bad,” and was seen saying many of these things while just shaking his head.

Still, Trump managed to secure nearly half of America’s votes, with all of the controversies that followed him, and he remains a dedicated leader to conservatives and those with far-right leaning political views.

Lil Peep’s Mother Said She’s Had Two Strokes In The Lawsuit Over Her Son’s Wrongful Death

This fall will mark three years since Lil Peep tragically died from a drug overdose while on his tour bus prior to a Tuscon, AZ show. A resulting toxicology report labeled his cause of death as an accidental overdose due to a mix of the pain medication, fentanyl and Xanax. Marijuana, cocaine, the painkiller Tramadol, and a number of opioids were also found in his system. At the end of 2019, the late rapper’s mother sued his management team and alleged that they encouraged his drug use. One example includes one of Peep’s managers gifting Peep with a bottle of pills during his 2017 Peep The Show.

The lawsuit process has taken a toll on Peep’s mother, Liza Womack. According to Pitchfork, Womack revealed she’s suffered two strokes since her son passed away. “I’ve had two strokes, and I am not going to die until I take care of this matter,” she said. “I’m going to live. I have a mission.”

Womack also shared how she remembers her son and continues the fight for his justice.

“There’s one woman who is a helicopter pilot, a photographer, and also an artist, and I asked her if I could buy her painting — it wasn’t even for sale — and she would not take any money,” she said. “She had an art dealer send it to me. We texted a little bit, and I told her I talk to it. I don’t believe in the afterlife, which is one reason why this was so horribly painful, because he’s gone, he’s gone.” Womack added, “But I told her I do talk to the painting and I tell him, ‘Gussie, I got ya.’ I am not stopping. I’m not giving up, ever.”
