Polo G & Lil Wayne Keep It All The Way Real On “Gang Gang”

Old school meets new school on the new collaboration from Polo G and Lil Wayne. Weezy pops up more than once today (May 21) as he’s also made an appearance on Birdman’s “Stunnaman” with Roddy Ricch, and now on Polo G’s “Gang Gang.” Last month, Polo G celebrated his “RAPSTAR” single topping the charts, and while there was some confusion regarding Murda Beatz’s involvement on the track, they seemed to have straightened away their differences.

Later, Polo G announced that his next album, Hall of Fame, was already complete, and if this is what we can expect from his forthcoming project, fans will certainly be pleased. Wayne, of course, lights things up with his additional bars, and we’re excited to hear what he has in store for us next, as well. Stream “Gang Gang” and let us know your thoughts about this united front.

Birdman Taps Lil Wayne & Roddy Ricch For “Stunnaman”

Friday (May 21) is gearing up to be quite the release day. There has been an outpouring of new music from YG, Mozzy, 42 Dugg, Sean Kingston, Polo G, Lil Wayne, T.I., Lil Baby, Latto, and several others, but fans have been hooked on the three-way collaboration “Stunnaman” involving Birdman, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Wayne. Fans received confirmation earlier this week that Roddy, Birdman, and Weezy had something cooking after they were spotted filming a music video. “Stunnaman” is said to be on the soundtrack to She Ball, a film by Nick Cannon.

We’ve seen Wayne pop up on tracks with various artists regularly, including his surprise appearance on “Seeing Green” with Nicki Minaj and Drake, but Roddy Ricch has reportedly been working on something new. There have been rumors there might be a joint album in the works—the Rap gossip blogs have suggested that it’s Birdman—but we’ll have to wait for more information regarding those rumors, whether they’re true or not.

Stream “Stunnaman” and let us know what you think.

There just might be a train comin’, man,

Obviously, Franklin’s legacy in the industry has spanned decades as the 16x Grammy Award-winning composer, writer, and artist has made waves in the gospel circuit. While fans may not understand this match-up, Lil Baby is one of the leading forces in the current Rap game, and Franklin is well-versed in collaborating with Hip Hop artists as he’s fused contemporary gospel music with Rap culture.

42 Dugg And Future Flaunt Their Cash And Jewels In The Flashy ‘Maybach’ Video

42 Dugg’s trek towards fame started after a game of shooting dice with Lil Baby, whose 4PF imprint later become the home of the rising rapper. Dugg, who hails from Detroit, has released multiple projects since 2018, but his breakout moment waited until 2020 when he featured alongside Baby on “We Paid,” a track that was one of the more popular hip-hop releases in 2020. More than a year after that track, Dugg is looking for the same success, this time with his newly-released project, Free Dem Boyz, which arrives with a new video that pairs the Detroit native with Future.

The new visual is for the duo’s first collaboration, “Maybach,” and it finds the pair stunting in luxury cars with large sums of cash in their hands. The track is also catching attention from fans for a diss Future delivers to his ex-flame Lori Harvey, who is the stepdaughter of comedian Family Feud host Steve Harvey. “Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her,” he raps on multiple occasions on the song. A snippet of the track that leaked the night before the track’s release revealed the shot at Lori and Steve may have responded to the song with a tweet of his own. “Sometimes distancing is the best response,” he wrote. “You don’t have to return or respond to negative energy. Just remove yourself.”

As for Free Dem Boyz, the project comes with a total of 19 songs and features from Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, EST Gee, Rowdy Rebel, and Fivio Foreign.

City Girls Submit Their Song Of The Summer Entry With The Club-Ready ‘Twerkulator’

There’s been talk going around on social media about the lack of “song of the summer” entries this year. For what it’s worth, this is most likely because of the slowly reopening world and artists choosing to hold on to potential entries for the perfect moment, whenever that might be. However, the shutdown that lasted more than fifteen months is slowly coming to an official end and the hottest days of summer are just around the corner. With that being said, it seems like City Girls have arrived with a surefire summer anthem thanks to their newly-released track “Twerkulator.”

The track is one that fans of the rap duo have requested for quite some time. The single was originally supposed to appear on the duo’s last album, City On Lock, but the project was leaked before City Girls could complete and promote it as they would’ve liked. A snippet of the song arrived eventually on social media earlier this year and it quickly made supporters excited for its release.

Unfortunately, Yung Miami revealed “Twerkulator,” which samples Afrika Bambaataa and Soulsonic Force’s “Planet Rock,” would not be released because the duo failed to attain a sample clearance. This served as disappointing news for many but less than two months later, City Girls returned with a fantastic announcement earlier this week as they revealed the track would arrive in just a few days.

Its uptempo production sits right in the pocket that houses some of the City Girls’ best work.

Lil Baby And Kirk Franklin Join Forces For A Motivational ‘Space Jam’ Banger, ‘We Win’

Lil Baby is setting himself up for a pretty strong 2021 and while he’s yet to share a project with the world this year, the Atlanta native has delivered a few songs that prove the rapper’s success will only continue. Following efforts like “Real As It Gets” with EST Gee and “On Me” as well as a number of collaborations with the likes of Russ, Lil Durk, Drake, and more, Lil Baby’s latest release is one fans did not ever expect. The rapper joined forces with Kirk Franklin for their new track, “We Win,” which will appear on the soundtrack for the highly-anticipated movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy.

Now, if it’s hard to imagine what a song with Baby and Franklin sounds like, allow me to twist your mind a bit more and add that the new effort is supported by production by Just Blaze. For what it’s worth, the trio definitely makes it work in providing a motivational banger that will surely be useful for Space Jam: A New Legacy. The triumphant track finds Baby detailing his harsh past and how he overcame it to find success today.

The new song arrives after Lil Baby joined DJ Khaled, Roddy Ricch, and Bryson Tiller in the video for their Khaled Khaled track, “Body In Motion.” As for what’s next, Baby and Lil Durk are set to release their Voice Of The Heroes joint project in the coming weeks. The effort was set to be released on May 28, but the duo opted to delay it out of respect for DMX, whose posthumous album, Exodus arrives on the same day.

You can press play on “We Win” in the video above.

Polo G And Lil Wayne’s Riches And Street Cred Are Worthy Of Top Recognition On ‘Gang Gang’

There’s no excuse to be sleeping on Polo G at this point. The Chicago proved he was here to stay last year with his impressive sophomore project, The GOAT and his success only carried into 2021. Polo G landed his first No. 1 record with “Rapstar,” a track that spent two consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. He also revealed that his upcoming album would be titled Hall Of Fame, and before it arrives, the rapper calls on another artist that many hold to a high regard for his latest single, “Gang Gang.”

The Chicago joins forces with Lil Wayne for the new track. which finds both artists moving back and forth between sharp raps and doses of autotuned croons. Altogether. the two rappers use the song to detail their undeniable fame, flaunt their expensive cars, and prove that their street credibility is intact and far from something that can be questioned. The new effort also arrives with a video that sees Polo G treating himself and a number of women to a nice dinner before joining Lil Wayne for an energetic house party.

Aside from “Rapstar,” Polo G has done a great job building anticipation for his next album, Hall Of Fame. The other single that fans can expect to hear on the album, “GNF (OKOKOK)” was another great example of what the rapper has to offer on the project. Elsewhere, guest appearances with the likes of Rod Wave, Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign, and more prove the Chicagoan has certainly improved his craft ahead of the release of Hall Of Fame.

You can listen to “Gang Gang” in the video.

Lil Nas X’s Demons Nearly Push Him Over The Edge On The Honest ‘Sun Goes Down’

After ending 2020 in the Christmas spirit with his jolly single, “Holiday,” Lil Nas X set the internet, real-world, and pretty much everything else ablaze with his following single, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” From the satanic images that were present in the song’s video to the Satan Shoes, the singer was the talk of more than “Old Town Road” thanks to the song. Now that the dust has settled, Lil Nas is back with his latest single, “Sun Goes Down.”

Lil Nas opens up about life’s demons on the new song and how they nearly pushed him over the edge and into dangerous depths where he contemplated things like suicide. “Don’t wanna lie, I don’t want a life,” he sings on the track’s chorus. “Send me a gun and I’ll see the sun.” Its accompanying video captures him revisiting his past life to reminsce on the hard days. Lil Nas’ new track comes a few months after he shared a string of TikTok videos that detailed his bouts with depression and suicidal thoughts.

“During college I was depressed, had no friends and…. my grandmother passed. I started going to the doctor a lot in fear that I would die soon… hypochondria,” he said in one of the videos. Later on he revealed, “I got news that my mom wasn’t doing so well in rehab with her addiction. Also me and my boyfriend broke up. During this time old town road was still killing it while I was… spiraling. I found myself in a hotel room contemplating ending it all. But I didn’t.”

RMR’s New Drop “Vibes” With Tyla Yaweh Is A Summer Anthem Waiting To Happen

Trying to define singer and rapper RMR’s (pronounced ‘rumor’) musical style is not an easy task, and that’s the way he prefers it. To say that RMR has more range than your average new artist is an understatement. With the release of his anthemic new track “Vibes” featuring Tyla Yaweh, RMR proves why he’s an up and coming force to be reckoned with.

“Vibes” is a track that has that flare that just oozes ‘song of the summer’ elements. Over a tropical, yet vibrant beat, RMR sings and raps his way through the song effortlessly. His bars hit just as hard as his vocal melodies.

In this banger he sings lines such as, “I been in and out of love baby. Walked around with a broken heart. Take it out and replace it with something much harder, promise I’ll never be down and out on love again.” In another part of the song he raps bars like, “We can have a one on one, even if we pull out guns. Run Ricky run. We even made a movie scene, shot it in a limousine yeah.” Whether he’s spitting or singing, the quality of the lyrics are still just as fire.

The release of “Vibes” follows RMR’s previous drop, the equally unique and sonically pleasing “Her Honeymoon.” He dropped his first extended play, Drug Dealing is a Lost Art in June of last year. Throughout his catalogue, the hip hop and country elements are present like they are in “Vibes.” “Vibes” is the first drop from RMR’s new album campaign, which is still in development. Stay tuned for more, and let us know what you think of his latest release in the comments.
