Wack100 Says Blueface Is The 1st “Mainstream Rapper” To Get In The Ring

Wack100 says that Blueface is the first “mainstream rapper” to get in the ring, following his fight against TikTok star Kane Trujillo at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 19. Not only did Blueface win the fight, but he also took on an unruly fan who jumped in the ring afterward.

“Street squabble with a little bit of training. The famous Cryp just got more famous. The first mainstream rapper to take that fade in the ring and put it all on the line,” Wack wrote in an Instagram post, Saturday.

He added: “Say what you want this kid can take a punch …. @6ix9ine or @wizkhalifa looking like some good opponents.”

A fight against 6ix9ine is certainly a possibility as the controversial rapper has been calling out Blueface on social media in the weeks leading up to his BKFC fight.

Earlier this month, Blueface claimed that 6ix9ine snitched to Instagram and had his account deleted.

“Pay close attention,” Blueface wrote on Twitter, July 11th. “He reported all my post for bullying and deleted his skit. Playing victim like he did in court. My IG be back up shortly.”

“He should tattoo Instagram on his head they might give it back to him. They just told me,” 6ix9ine replied.

Kanye West Cheers On Atlanta United Ahead Of “DONDA” Release

Kanye West was spotted at an Atlanta United soccer match, Saturday, following the DONDA listening event, earlier this week. West watched the game with Atlanta fans in the stands while rocking an all red fit and a mask that covered his entire face. 

The legendary rapper’s support wasn’t enough to carry Atlanta to the win. The team fell 1-0 to the Columbus Crew.

West’s new project, DONDA, was originally scheduled to release on Friday, July 23rd but after the hours came and went, fans were left without any new music to enjoy. A close collaborator of West’s, Malik Yusef, has since revealed that the album will now drop on August 6th.

“We R super grateful, thankful and appreciative of all the love we’ve been getting for the new upcoming album #DONDA This is the 9th album I’ve worked on with @kanyewest , Me and bro weren’t communicating during the process of Jesus Is King so I missed that one. But in my opinion it’s our best work thus far.Also, as a side note my homie @Justinlaboy is more kind and caring, than he is toxic,” Yusef wrote in an Instagram post, Saturday.

Justin Laboy, who was spotted hanging with West, earlier this week, also confirmed the delayed release.

Tiny turned 46 on July 14th. T.I. celebrated the couple’s 20th year spending her birthday together by sharing a heartfelt message on social media in her honor: “Happy Birthday to my wife, my lover, &my best friend @majorgirl …. We’ve been through the best of times and the worst of times but WE never changed…. im truly proud of you & all that you’ve contributed to the culture…as well as thankful for all you’ve contributed to all of OUR LIVES!! Jennifer Lopez Kisses Ben Affleck In New IG Post Celebrating 52nd Birthday

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 52nd birthday, Saturday, with a new post on Instagram that included a picture of herself kissing Ben Affleck. The couple has been rumored to be dating for several months, but yet to publically confirm the relationship before Today’s post.

“5 2 … what it do,” she captioned the photos.

While the exact details are unclear, Lopez appears to have begun dating Affleck shortly after breaking off an engagement to former Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, earlier this year. The two had been together for over two years.

Earlier this week, Lopez’s longtime friend Leah Remini posted a video from her own birthday party, which was held last month, that featured Lopez and Affleck together.

“Wanted to share a little video from my birthday with you all because I got so much love from you on my birthday but also everyday,” Remini said in the throwback post. “I consider myself to have the best support system here on social media. Also, I can’t thank my family & friends enough for coming, for celebrating with me in a way that was very special to me.”

R. Kelly Faces New Allegations After Court Documents Allege That He Sexually Assaulted A Minor In 2006

R. Kelly is set to go on trial over pair of cases in the coming months. One is based in Brooklyn, New York, where he faces federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges; the other is based in his hometown of Chicago, where he received charges for child pornography and obstruction of justice. While things are already bad enough for the singer, they may have just gotten worse: Chicago Sun Times shared new court documents that present fresh allegations that Kelly sexually assaulted a minor back in 2006.

The document claims that the singer met the 16-year-old boy at a McDonald’s more than a decade ago. Kelly then invited him to his studio and asked “what he was willing to do to succeed in the music business” and added that he wanted “to engage in sexual contact.” The documents go on to say that the minor introduced Kelly to a male friend of his, who at the time was around the age of 16 or 17. This individual, who was labeled “John Doe #2” in the documents, eventually entered a sexual relationship with Kelly, who “paid John Doe #2 after sexual encounters with him.”

Meanwhile, Kelly’s Brooklyn trial is set to begin on August 18. If he’s convicted he will face up to 70 years in prison.

Kanye West Took A Break From Working On ‘Donda’ To Hang Out With The Atlanta United Crowd

Kanye West’s next album, Donda, is on its way. West, who held a highly anticipated listening party for the still yet to be completed album in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium late last week, has been holed up at the home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United working on it ever since, with a new target release date of August 6.

What is making this album process even more fascinating is that he’s seemingly commandeered a room in the stadium to continue working on it, even while events are ongoing. On Saturday, Ye’s stay at the Benz overlapped with Atlanta United playing host to the Columbus Crew, so he decided to take a stroll around the stadium and hang out with Atlanta United supporters during the game, posting videos of his afternoon taking in some MLS action on Instagram.

As many have pointed out, Kanye appears to be wearing the same thing he was for the album listening party, as maybe even he wasn’t prepared for this long of a stay at the stadium.

Naturally every other comment on his video is some form of “drop the album,” but it is pretty funny that while the world is watching for info on the much-anticipated release, he’s just out here posting videos of fans chanting at a soccer game with no commentary of his own. It’s great pub for Atlanta United, if nothing else, and it’s good to see Kanye taking a little break from a long day in his makeshift studio to take in some soccer.

Ice Cube Says He Hopes BIG3’s “FIREBALL3” Will Become An Olympic Sport

Ice Cube says that running the BIG3 basketball league is one of his biggest accomplishments and spoke about differentiating the league from the NBA in a new interview with Bossip. Cube also reflected on the BIG3’s choice to implement the FIREBALL3 ruleset and he hopes to see it in the Olympics.

“We’ve needed the freedom to keep innovating without potential new fans thinking it was typical 3-on-3. Plus, we didn’t want our deep love and respect for the NBA to be misinterpreted by our use of different rules,” Cube said in Vegas after a game.

“We could never compete with the NBA any more than we could compete with the NFL or FIFA. We are the BIG3, our own unique thing. But that doesn’t mean FIREBALL3 can’t coexist with these sports and still be many fans’ favorite sport. We’re going to keep growing, keep building and keep putting the best athletes on the court. We hope that one day FIREBALL3 will be an Olympic sport too.”

He also compared growing the BIG3 to other highlights during his career: “Doing music, I grew up with Dr. Dre living down the street and, I’m not saying that was easy, but I was in a position really to be right there. And, in movies, John Singleton just saw me one day and said ‘hey I wanna put you in a movie’ so that career took off with being discovered. This is something we had to conceive from scratch with all kinds of people telling us we were crazy…”

Earlier this month, Kanye West and Justin LaBoy were seen hanging out during a BIG3 game in Vegas.

Travis Scott Challenges Fans To Learn The Lyrics To An Unreleased Song Before His Rolling Loud Set

After a long time without music festivals and concerts, live shows are back. This weekend thousands of music fans have made their way to Miami for Rolling Loud’s first festival of the year, which is headlined by ASAP Rocky, Travis Scott, and Post Malone. Ahead of the festival’s second day of performances, Travis, who headlines the Saturday edition, took to Twitter to offer a new challenge to his audience hours before he takes stage.

In the post, Scott shared a one-minute snippet of a music video that previews an unreleased song. “HMM SOME ONE ASK ME HOW IM STARTING I SAID THIS IS HOW,” he wrote in the caption the video. “WHO CAN REMEMBER THIS BY TONIGHT.” If the track gets premiered in full during his Rolling Loud set, it could prove to be one of the biggest moments of the night, as fans have been expecting new music for a while now.

Miami’s Rolling Loud is far from the only festival Scott will appear at this year. He’s also slated to headline Day N Vegas, Rolling Loud’s New York showcase, as well as his own Astroword festival, which returns to Houston this fall.
