Blueface Sends Shots At Jake Paul Following Debut Boxing Match

Jake Paul has been a major player in the celebrity boxing match circuit, and now, it feels as though everyone wants a piece of the action. Lamar Odom and Aaron Carter recently took part in a boxing match about a month ago, and as you would expect, Odom won the match with relative ease.

The most recent celebrity to step in the ring is none other than Blueface who went up against TikTok star Kane Trujillo in what proved to be a massive blowout. There was even some drama after the fight as a fan tried to attack Blueface. Of course, this did not end well for the young man as Blueface hit him with a few big punches.

One person who was not impressed with Blueface’s performance was none other than Jake Paul, who said that Blueface and 6ix9ine weren’t much of a draw because all they do is go to the studio and do drugs. These comments were pretty disparaging and when Blueface caught wind of them, he made sure to let his feelings be known.

“It’s funny that he says that being someone who came from the entertainment side to the boxing world,” Blueface said. “That’s real shallow of him to not view it that way. That’s like somebody else coming into the music industry rapping funny to everybody else and I’m bashing him too even though that’s how I came up. He’s a total clown for that. He looks like an idiot. I think he’s full of himself. He’s got about what? Two or three fights?”

Blueface certainly makes a good point here as Jake Paul has faced similar criticism from actual boxers. At the end of the day, Paul was a YouTuber first, and his credibility in boxing isn’t where it needs to be to make comments such as the ones he made against Blueface.

See Footage Of Kanye West In His Makeshift Studio At Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Much to his fanbase’s chagrin, Kanye West didn’t release his tenth studio album DONDA on Friday, July 23rd, and according to Justin LaBoy and Malik Yusef, the earliest that eager fans can expect to hear the highly anticipated record is August 6th.

In the meantime, fans have gotten far more Kanye West content than they can likely handle, as the controversial artist recently popped up at an Atlanta United FC match at Mercedes-Benz, and to make matters even more strange, Mr. West has been confirmed to be living in the enormous Atlanta stadium until he finishes DONDA.

Thanks to The Shade Room, a new clip has surfaced that adds a lot more context into Kanye West’s neverending album rollout and unorthodox living conditions. The video shows Ye jamming out to an upbeat song from DONDA, and from the looks of the footage, the veteran artist has further switched up his outfit from Thursday night’s listening event and set up his temporary studio in one of the locker rooms at the stadium.

Luckily, Atlanta United FC is currently embarking on a three-game road stretch following its game on Saturday, so Kanye won’t have to worry about moving over any of his expensive speakers for Josef Martínez and the gang until August 15. From what Ye’s close collaborators have been saying, DONDA should definitely be out by then, but honestly, the Hip-Hop community will just have to wait and see what happens.

Lil Baby & James Harden Continue Their Bromance At Rolling Loud

When it comes to their respective fields, James Harden and Lil Baby are at the top of their game. First, let’s look at Harden. The man is a former NBA MVP who is widely considered as one of the best scorers in the history of basketball. This past season, Harden excelled on the Brooklyn Nets although injuries kept him from performing at his best during the playoffs. Regardless, the future is bright for Harden and as of next year, he will be on a title contender that is favored to win it all.

Meanwhile, Lil Baby is one of the biggest artists in the world, and his album My Turn was one of the best-selling albums of 2020. He has been headlining big festivals and whenever he gets featured on a song, it is always a big event. One would just have to look at the reactions to his DONDA verse to understand this.

Over the last year or so, Harden and Lil Baby’s friendship has blossomed and at times, they seem to be inseparable. For instance, the two were recently in France where they were able to hit up numerous fashion shows. The two even went through a minor legal situation together as they were stopped for allegedly possessing weed while in Paris.

Now, the dynamic duo is back as they were both spotted together backstage during the Saturday night festivities of Rolling Loud. In the video clip posted below, both men were all smiles and it’s clear they had a great time. Travis Scott was headlining the night, and Harden and Baby were front and center for the debut of “Escape Plan.”

With the bromance blossoming, perhaps we will see Lil Baby courtside at some Nets games this upcoming season.

NoCap Released From Jail

This current generation of Hip-Hop artists has been absolutely decimated by tragic deaths and career-threatening legal issues, so whenever good news pops up, fans have every right to celebrate it. Thankfully, this weekend has yielded one of those moments in which the Hip-Hop community can let out a collective sigh of relief because NoCap has officially been released from jail.

With over 1.6 million followers on Instagram alone, NoCap has been one of the most popular rising artists in rap right for a while now, but his momentum came to a screeching halt this past December when the Mobile, Alabama artist shockingly revealed to the world that he would be turning himself in to the authorities.

In the disheartening post, NoCap wrote, “I got 30 days to turn myself in & ma dukes tested positive for COvid this morning y’all pray 4 her, I don’t know how long ima be gone I just want to appreciate my family, fans & friends for rocking w/ me continue to do that while I’m away, I’m not gone promise y’all nothing because I know the process of dropping a album is not over night but I’m most definitely pushing for the beginning of da year ‘Mr. Crawford The Album So Soon.'”

While the beginning of the year came and went without NoCap’s release or another new project, fans remained supportive of the NBA YoungBoy-affiliated artist, and now, approximately seven months later, NoCap is finally back home.

In a move that is just as unexpected as his farewell post from last December, NoCap has completely wiped his Instagram and started over. At the time of publishing, only one post remains — a new photo of the Backend Child covering half of his face with a bright orange hoodie. Although the picture doesn’t give fans a full view of the newly freed artist, it is evident that his hair has signficantly longer.

“When You Important It’s Hard To Hide [eagle emoji],” NoCap says while announcing his return. “Im Back Doe!”

Lakers Reportedly Interested In Kyle Kuzma-Buddy Hield Trade

Kyle Kuzma had a disappointing season with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021 as he seemingly had a regression when it comes to his effectiveness. Prior to the Anthony Davis trade, Kuzma was one of the best offensive options on the roster although now, he seems to be struggling with his new role. In the playoffs, Kuzma lacked confidence and it was becoming clear that his future with the team would be uncertain in the summer.

Since that time, Kuzma’s name has been floating around in various rumors as the Lakers look to improve their roster heading into next season. Other Lakers players like Dennis Schroder are also expected to move on from the team, however, nothing concrete has been decided, at least not yet.

Today, it was reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic that the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings have engaged in trade talks centered around Buddy Hield. Hield is on a massive contract for the Kings and he is another player who has been a part of numerous rumors. In Charania’s report, it was noted that Kuzma is one of the players the Lakers would trade as part of a package, which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.

There is still a lot that can happen between now and the free agency period, so don’t expect this trade to become a done deal anytime soon. Hield has also been a part of Ben Simmons rumors, so we could potentially see the 76ers join the mix in the not-so-distant future.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you all of the latest basketball news.

Grimes Says Her Song ‘100% Tragedy’ Is About ‘Having To Defeat Azealia Banks When She Tried To Destroy My Life’

On Friday, Grimes brought her talents to Splendour XR, a music festival hailed as one of the most technologically advanced virtual showcases. She joined The Killers, Khalid, Charli XCX, Denzel Curry, and more. Grimes herself used her set to debut a new musical project called Grimes Metaverse, according to Billboard. She played her tentatively titled track “100% Tragedy,” which is currently still unreleased. In a chat with the Splendour XR music festival, the singer shared new details about the upcoming song.

In the chat, Grimes wrote that the song “is about having to defeat Azealia Banks when she tried to destroy my life.” This is in reference to a 2018 incident where Banks claimed she was at “Elon Musk’s house alone for days waiting for Grimes,” which fueled a lawsuit involving Tesla. A subpoena for Banks was proposed in order to have her testify against him involving claims of Musk fraudulently misleading investors.

Banks caught wind of Grimes’ comments shortly afterwards and responded on her Instagram page. “So you go make a bootleg @inna song about it. Yikes,” she wrote. “Grimes def has some psychosexual obsession with me. i think it’s bitterness cuz she doesn’t have the musical capacity i have. everything she does is out of pretentiousness and it comes out like that … while everything i do is out of natural swag & geniusness lmaoo.” She added, “Starting to notice all the weird undercover millennial racists hide out on discord.”

Yung Bleu, Childish Gambino & Tinashe Hold Down This Week’s “R&B Season” Playlist

It’s been a long time coming and finally, we received Yung Bleu’s official debut album, Moon Boy. The album has received praise from many of Bleu’s industry peers and his loyal following who have been keeping the album on rotation. Moon Boy has plenty of collaborations, from Drake and Chris Brown to John Legend, but it’s “Tired Of You” ft. H.E.R. that many agree is one of the best cuts off of the album. It was only right that we included it on this week’s R&B Season playlist.

Childish Gambino might be hard at work on the next season of Atlanta but we were blessed with some brand new music from him this week. The rapper made a surprise appearance on Brittany Howard’s Jaime (Reimagined) project with his rendition of “Stay High.”

Along with Childish and Yung Bleu, we have some new heat from Tinashe who is preparing to drop a new album 333 which is set to drop next month. On Friday, she blessed fans with her latest single, “I Can See The Future.” Hopefully, she has a few more cuts on the way before the Aug. 6th release date.

Other records highlighted on this week’s playlist include the latest from Chiiild, Alinda Baraz, and Kiana Ledé’s new collab with Kehlani on “Ur Best Friend.”
