Spice Shares Debut Album “10”

Spice has crossed over into the American market, largely due to her appearance on Love & Hip Hop. In Jamaica, she remains the Queen Of Dancehall, and rightfully so. Every single verse, record, and song she drops is nothing short of heat and that’s consistency has carried her career since her breakout moment alongside Vybz Kartel on “Romping Shop” in 2008.

After nearly 13 years since her timeless collaboration with Vybz Kartel, she’s finally unveiled her debut album, 10. Laced up with a solid 15 songs in total, Spice enlists a slew of collaborators to bring her vision to life. Shaggy appears twice including on “Go Down Deh” alongside Sean Paul. Other features on the project include Nicho, Olaf Blackwood, and Melissa Musique.

Vybz Kartel Drops New Project “Born Fi Dis (Prelude)”

Vybz Kartel might be locked up but he’s still regarded as the reigning king of dancehall music. His prolific career has hardly slowed down in the wake of his incarceration but fans still hope to see the day he’s released from prison if that happens. The last we heard, Vybz Kartel was heading over to the UK where he’ll appeal his conviction. Two weeks ago, Vybz’ attorney said there’s new evidence of tampering uncovered by an expert.

In the midst of the headlines, Vybz Kartel keeps the flood of music ongoing with his new project, Born Fi Dis (Prelude). With a few features from Likkle Addi, Likkle Vybz, and Sykka Rymes, among others, Vybz Kartel just blessed us with a perfect body of work to end the summer with.

Meek Mill Details His Harsh ‘War Stories’ Through A Boastful New Video

Meek Mill is slowly making progress toward the release of his long-awaited fifth album. In recent months, the Philly rapper has increased his public musical output and this weekend he returned with a brand new song and video.

Titled “War Stories,” Meek uses the track to detail harsh stories about his past and explain that danger still lurks around him even despite achieving both fame and success in his career. The track comes with a video that sees the rapper enjoying dinner with his team and hitting the club with the likes of Bobby Shmurda, Jim Jones, Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert, and more many.

“War Stories,” which samples The Isley Brothers’ 1983 song “Ballad for the Fallen Soldier,” comes after Meek shared a remix of Drake and Rick Ross’ “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” with a video that captured him flexing his lyrical abilities in the studio and a jewelry store. Later on, he delivered “Flamerz Flow,” which also arrived with a visual that featured cameos from Shmurda and Dave East.

Outside of the music that Meek has given to the world, the rapper recently bought a house for his grandmother which came shortly before he shared the first picture of his youngest son Czar on social media.

You can listen to “War Stories” in the video above.

Future Connects With DJ Swamp Izzo On “3 Cell Phones”

DJ Swamp Izzo has been hustling hard over the years which has now led to his signing with Cash Money records. To commemorate the deal, Swamp Izzo unveiled his brand new single, “3 Cell Phones” with Future. Backed by muddy production, Future sounds like he’s in his original form, detailing his relationship with drugs and women in a nonchalant manner.

“Izzo’s been a part of our family for a long time now,” Birdman said of the signing. I’ve always watched how he moved and what he did. He’s put so many major plays in motion throughout Atlanta and hip-hop as a whole. He’s also an incredible DJ, performer, and artist. Everybody’s about to get to know him in a big way this year.”

With the backing of Birdman and Slim, DJ Swamp Izzo is bound to do some incredible things in the future.

Fat Joe Says Cam’ron Nearly Left Verzuz Before It Even Started

There have been some excellent moments during Verzuz since its inception. Gucci Mane and Jeezy finally squashed their beef at Magic City for the world to see, Snoop Dogg and DMX went hit-for-hit in celebrating their respective catalogs, and Bow Wow and Soulja Boy took their online feud to the stage where they offered a dose of nostalgia for the world.

On Tuesday, the battle of NYC went down between The Lox and Dipset at Madison Square Garden. Jadakiss earned the title of the evening’s MVP while Jim Jones provided us with one of the best moments of the evening when he dove off stage (many believed he fell). However, it was Fat Joe’s recap of the whole evening that really left fans in tears. The other day, Joe dropped a massive bombshell about the moments leading up the battle including Cam’ron’s alleged hesitancy. Apparently, Killa Cam was about to make his way out the door before Verzuz even started.

“Cam’ron was on his way out the building. Not being scared. For some reason, he wasn’t fucking with it,” Joe said. “He was about to leave Madison Square Garden. That’s a Joprah moment.”

Joe explained that when Cam’ron heard Michael Buffett’s voice, he seemingly changed his mind and turned back around.

Stunna 4 Vegas’s charisma is on full effect on “BIG 4 FLOW.” He wastes no time in offering braggadocious bars and asserting his dominance in the rap game. “I’m too official (Yeah, yeah), blow thе whistle (Yeah, yeah), my lil’ n***a out his mind,” raps Stunna 4 Vegas. “Stеady tryna smoke a n***a, he say he ain’t tweakin’ ’bout no time.”

The “Activated” rapper‘s energetic delivery and infectious hook prove that he’s continuing to sharpen his sword with every single release.
