Kylie Jenner Explains Herself After Make-Up Artist’s GoFundMe Controversy

Kylie Jenner has been under fire over the weekend, though that’s nothing new. The billionaire mogul had the internet roasting her after she shared a GoFundMe page in support of a make-up artist Samuel Rauda who was raising funds for medical bills after getting into an accident. Most felt that it was a tad bit tone-deaf that she, a billionaire, would be asking people in the midst of a pandemic to help foot her friend’s medical bills.

The beauty mogul took to Instagram today where she addressed the “false narrative” that she’s getting money from fans to help pay her make-up artist’s medical bill. Off the rip, she made it clear that Samuel Rauda isn’t her make-up artist, nor have they had a relationship for some time but describes him as “the sweetest.”

“I saw my current makeup artist repost about Sam’s accident and his family’s GoFundMe and i called Ariel immediately to see what happened to Sam,” she wrote, explaining that the GoFundMe page was set at $10K and was already at $6K by the time she was on the page. She explained that she donated $5K to reach the original goal of $10k. “[I] thought I’d post on my stories to gain more awareness if anyone else felt compelled to share or donate. I don’t know how all of this got so twisted but his family has reached out through Ariel and are very appreciative of all the donations, prayers, and love towards Sam.”

Kylie concluded that she’s a genuinely giving and helpful person with true intentions before encouraging her fans to share a bit of positivity. Check her post below.

Bfb Da Packman Reacts To Lizzo’s Dating Rumors

We thought that Bfb Da Packman successfully landed a date with Lizzo but the 3x Grammy award-winning artist seemingly has other plans, though it shouldn’t be all that surprising. If you recall, Bfb Da Packman found himself on Instagram Live with Lizzo last week when he finally asked her out on a date. This came after his numerous attempts to get her attention including pulling Quavo’s pick-up line in her DMs, sending her flowers, and learning the flute to serenade her.

She accepted the date which earned the praise of Lil Uzi Vert who’s apparently among the many rappers in Bfb’s corner in his pursuit of Lizzo. Unfortunately, it seems like he wasn’t paying enough attention to when she said that she “wasn’t looking for one man right now,” but rather, a collection of men. “If he wants to be one of my man, he can be,” she added just after he sent her flowers of Valentine’s Day.

It’s unclear whether there were any plans set in stone but it seems that Lizzo’s continuing to live her best life as a single woman. She was recently spotted with a new mystery man that led to rumors that they were dating. Admittedly salty, Bfb Da Packman revealed that he hasn’t lost hope yet. He shared a screenshot of his DM from someone who sent him the post from TheShadeRoom, adding, “sorry bro.” “@lizzobeeating So this my competition huh? That’s ight bae, your entree is waiting after ya snack. See you soon,” he captioned the post.

Boosie Offers $554 For Fan Willing To Get Smacked In New Music Video

Boosie Badazz recently asked his Instagram followers for prayers prior to his annual cancer check-up. The rapper has been going for every year since having surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in 2015 as a way to ensure he stays in remission.

Boosie kept his followers updated with a second video showing himself in the waiting room with other patients, but after informing his followers he is cancer-free, Boosie quickly returned to his usual social media antics. On Friday, Boosie released his new single “Period” featuring Dababy, revealing a video is on the way, in the process. “Video on the way soon,” he exclaimed in his all-caps caption.

After the song’s release on Friday, Boosie followed it up with an Instagram video on Saturday, where he continued to tease the music video for the collaboration, albeit, in a strange manner. Boosie said he would give one of his followers a chance to be in the video if they would be willing to get slapped.

Boosie starts, “I got $554 dollars,” before taking a dramatic pause and saying, “ [For] Whoever let me slap the f*** out them” on the “Period” video.”

“Period “Video shoot” I need 3 smacks cross yo s*** for the video for good camera angles #pleasehelpmeout DM me if u trying to get the 554,” the caption of the video read.

Boosie went on to explain how the scene will be shot, saying that the slap must be real.

“I want to come on that b****, n**** playing with me, I’m just going to bat him. BOP! But it got to be real though,” Boosie told followers.

After expressing his excitement to make the video a “reality,” Boosie encouraged anyone who is interested in being slapped for a small fee to DM him.

“If you going to let me bat you I got $554 dollars. Real s*** I want to make this b**** reality. Me and this boy finna go around the city, the whole city smacking shit. Just shut the f*** up, you doing p**** s*** period. DM me [if] you want to get smacked, man,” Boosie ended the video.

Chloe Bailey Shows Love To Silk Sonic With An Angelic ‘Leave The Door Open’ Cover

Ever since Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars released their side project Silk Sonic‘s debut single “Leave The Door Open,” the track has been everywhere. The duo even brought the sultry single to the Grammys stage for a groovy performance. Now, Chloe Bailey, one half of R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle, has put her own spin on the song.

Chloe x Halle are usually joined at the hip, but Halle is currently in the UK while filming a live action version of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Because of their distance, the two formed separate social media accounts in recent weeks, and Chloe has been enjoying her independence. The singer even broke the internet after participating in a viral “Buss It” challenge.

This time, Chloe opted to showcase her talent by taking on a cover of “Leave The Door Open.” Sharing her version on TikTok, Chloe stripped back the lush single into a piano ballad. The singer took the opportunity to display her powerhouse vocals, hitting high notes during the song’s chorus.

Ahead of Chloe’s cover, the singer was able to virtually attend the 63rd Grammy Awards last week. She and her sister were nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Progressive R&B Album, and Best R&B Song. Even though Chloe x Halle didn’t end up winning in any category, Chloe said she’s “grateful to be on this journey” with her sister.

Phife Rules The City In His Posthumous ‘Nutshell Pt 2’ Video With Busta Rhymes And Redman

Although the video for Phife’s “Nutshell Pt. 2” was delayed for nearly four years, the fallen hip-hop legend actually does appear in the clip alongside his co-stars Busta Rhymes and Redman. Decked out in his customary New York Knicks orange and blue, Phife delivers his densely-worded verse at a diner with his fellow Big Apple denizens as they flex their way through their freestyle flows and celebrate the late, great Phife.

The video, directed by Tony Reames and produced by Dion “Rasta Root” Liverpool, also features cameos from A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip and frequent collaborator Consequence. Phife worked on the video and his upcoming album Forever prior to his death in 2016, with his family praising his efforts in a press release:

“He worked really hard to complete his album before he transitioned, and he was ready to share an album that was near and dear to his heart with his fans. His fans meant the world to him.”

“Nutshell Pt. 2” was rolled out impressively over the last several weeks after being announced in February. It was released the next day, with a lyrics video following shortly after. The video arrives on the fifth anniversary of Phife Dawg’s passing.

A Signed Jay-Z Trading Card Just Sold For A Record-Breaking Amount Of Money

Despite an unprecedented year, Jay-Z has been doing very well for himself. The rapper has secured a number of business deals in the last year, including his Tidal deal with Jack Dorsey’s Square. And while Jay-Z’s endeavors have made him a good amount of money, apparently his signature alone is worth a hefty sum as well. A Jay-Z trading card that was signed by the rapper himself just sold for a record-breaking amount of money at an auction.

An autographed Jay-Z “Signs Of Stardom” Topps trading card from 2005 was recently posted for sale on the online auction platform Goldin Auctions. While the card had some initial bids hovering around the $2,000 mark, one buyer was able to up the ante. Closing out the sale, Jay-Z’s trading card was purchased by a fan for a whopping $105,780. The six-figure sale means that it was sold for more money than any other non-sports trading card ever.

Online sports card platform SlabStox first picked up the exciting news on social media. “This is a public service announcement… a Jay-Z Topps Chrome Superfractor RC Auto 1/1 just sold for $105,780 via @goldinauctions. That marks the all-time record for a non-sports/TCG card,” they wrote.
